I think there still may be one sitting down at IPS with 4:10's in it. Mike said something to me about a few weeks ago. I think he wanted 250 for it but I would have to check.
If you could get me a few more details on it such as mileage and any problems with it, that would be great.

If anyone finds a good deal on a Cobra IRS differential, feel free to pick it up for me
-
Not a problem byhi.
I'm getting tired of having four vehicles in the driveway, $650 or possible trades.
-
Step one, get a Carfax
Step two, put it on a frame rack to see if everything is within spec.
-
wow HI-JACKED lol
Back on track then. Give us some more details on the new powerplant.
-
Judging by the drool on his collar, it would appear he falls asleep easily. Better get him some NoDoz before the big race.

You really should have capitalized on your chance to take out Team Z06 this summer. Next spring, you're just another speck in the rearview.
Says the man without an engine
Shall we go three wide? That way you and sam can race to be the first loser

lets have a real race
100-0
lets do it
and no, thats not a typo
Are you fucking simple?
This is Columbus Racing, not Columbus stopping. 0 to 100 to 0 is something to brag about, "I can stop faster than you" is just plain gay

So are the LSx guys going to have another good season?
YES
It won't be bad, only thing to outrun them will be a different kind of SBC.

Cool, post, pm, or email the pics when you get a chance. Also the offset should be either cast or stamped somewhere on the backside of a spoke or the rim.
-
would you be willing to trade for anything? I dunno like tires or wheels? I have aset of 18x10 and 18x8 with a 5x114.3 lug pattern. I seem to have a bunch of car stuff laying around lately, mostly turbo related, and am in need of a winter beater badly. Just let me knwo if you're willing to trade for anything, i might have it. Thanks
What are the offsets on the wheels? If they are correct for my rx7s we may be able to work something out.

Waiting on pics and more details such as trim level.

Muscle car prices are a little crazy right now. You can have this for over $400,000

What did you think the temps were going to be when you accepted this race a couple weeks ago? It's not going to be below freezing tonight. Just do a nice long rolling 2nd gear burn-out before you run. Your tires will be hotter than if you ran straight-up in 80 degree summer heat. Sounds like a cop-out excuse to me.
Hot tires on cold pavement will not supply near the traction one would have with the road temps we have in the warmer months.
I don't turn down races, this one just came too late in the season to make it worth getting my car back up and running to go out and run a half assed race without traction. I'm sure Sam and I will be first ones out running when the weather turns.
-
I am the one who called it off. Sam challenged me a few days after I started taking my car down for winter, we agreed to run tomorrow night. But after the temps started dropping well below freezing, I decided that my season was done. Even on drag radials, my car will be with out traction on these cold streets

Still for sale
-
I wasnt that impressed
nice kit though....
Dan
Why, because it's not FWD?

This is mk4 not a mk5, Trust me, you can run bigger turbos if you have modified the firewall.
here's a fun integral, ill give you a hint* , dont forget to substitute.
Integral( e^ ((4x+3)^.5))) dx
Still not big enough.

This is all I'm saying
Then your not saying much.
-
Cerveza, all you need to know.
-
Your new turbo is not big enough.
Welcome anyways though.

Well Jeremy just plain doesn't like us. I don't think I've ever seen them give a positive review on an American car but this is uncalled for.

I am sure Stock Mufflers are killing the power to a point
From Road and Track article,
Electronics also plays a part in the exhaust system, allowing full-throttle backpressure to be kept to a minimum while still safely passing the drive-by noise test. The stainless-steel pipes' diameter has increased from 2 1/2 to 3 in. and they are welded to a pair of larger-volume mufflers. These mufflers each have the familiar pair of exhaust tips but the inboard ones are normally closed by vacuum-operated butterfly valves. They are allowed to open only when their electronic control system senses the throttle-plate angle and engine rpm have reached a predetermined point that is well beyond the range of normal driving.
