  1. Every time I visit Detroit I see something that almost makes it worth the trip. Everything from a Gypsy who we are still convinced put a curse on my buddy Marc for mocking her, to a pimp and when I say pimp I mean the definition of pimp. Pinstriped suit with matching hat, including the feather, cane, wing tipped platform shoes, cane, and cigarette holder. But the best may have been the homeless Asian man carrying a set of golf clubs down the sidewalk. Couldn't have been a golf course for miles
  2. Actually, MIG is better for thick aluminum. Tig is the best and in my and most other's opinions the only way to go for IC pipes and tanks.

Something else to consider, MIG welding aluminum should only be done with the proper push/pull gun. Running aluminum wire through a standard MIG gun and liner never works well.

  3. :D LOL if that happens to be the case I will flip on the nitrous fuel pump and then you can look at it when your rx7 is behind the car.... .

I don't see that happening. If you think the nitrous will help you catch up, go ahead and try it. But it would be best to take your loss the easy way.

  4. Someone at Interstate was telling me that when the Optimas go completely dead the only way they will accept a charge is to charge it in parallel with another battery. Sounds fishy but it might pay to take it to someone that might know about this and let them try.
  5. I dunno man.

I closed the cutout, put the street tires back on and ran a 13.7 @ 101 with a 2.2 60'. That and I added weight (seats and such).

My turd of a car weighed 3690 with me in it, 1/2 a tank of gas, seats in it. Spare tire removed.

pulled the seats and it put it down to 3640 or so. :(

Plus, I really can't put the smaller pulley on when I'm on the street. I had to add race gas to get rid of the knock. I have to put the larger one on when I'm tooling around the street.

In that case, I want a piece of the Lumina in street trim. 3800 n/a vs. 3800 supercharged :)
