  14. Turbo tax will walk you step by step for the multiple w2s and the 401k cash out. Any questions you have can also be answered by the fine folks at turbo tax as well. Good luck to you.
  15. I wish this was happening on the Saturday or Sunday... I know a large number of people who have stacks of cash and would love to go to this. But a Thursday is not an option and I'm guessing the day of the week will make for better deals for buyers. (And will suck for the seller). Good luck to all who go - be sure to post what you get!
  16. I've got a friend who gets a $25k policy with a $2k-ish deductible for $190/day. And this is just my opinion, but if you can afford a $60k car and want to do track days with it - you either can afford to write the car off or the money for the coverage won't be a make/break for doing the track day. Taking a car to the track that you can't leave a crumpled pile of trash is always a bad idea.
  17. On that post... You can purchase track insurance for your street car when participating in a track day. It is a couple hundred bucks to cover a very nice car (vette, Porsche,BMW...). Anyone looking to track a street car (or any car you can't afford to write off) - look into it.
  18. The wife and I go at least once a year for a week. The deals that time of year are usually great. Last march, we stayed at the Excalibur for $39/night. That included $100 in slot play and 2 buffet meals a day. We are planning another trip about the same time this year and I'm currently searching for deals. Always enjoy spending time in Vegas!
  19. For street cars - I've got 6-7 cars I maintain. I do the majority of my parts shopping at autozone. Close to home and if the pickerington store doesn't have the parts in stock the reynoldsburg hub usually does. Anything I don't get from them usually comes from an on-line site. For the race cars, I get the basics from autozone and order 'race' parts from specific companies (special projects motor sports, carbotech, slow motion and the like).
  20. Sorry to hear this. Good thing no one was home and it was just 'stuff' that was taken. I don't believe you have any ability to break the lease due to an event like this. You will need to read your lease agreement and see if there is any wording specific to your lease that you could use to get out of it. (I doubt it, but worth a look) While looking, you may want to check the section on renters insurance - most (if not all) rental agreements require you have that coverage. I believe your renter's insurance would cover the damage to the actual house done during the break in. On top of everything you've already lost, you may be responsible to have the physical damage to the house reapired. Just a bad situation all around - and I hope the person/people responsible get whats coming to them (I know they will one way or another).
  21. I've bought and sold several cars on eBay. Never had a problem. Flew out of state and picked up one (drove it home). Had several people come from out of state to pick up ones I've sold. I deal in person in cash or with a wire transfer bank to bank. Easy and opens the vehicle up to a broader audience than local forum. (Which I list on as we'll)
  22. Turnberry Travel (Pickerington). Bad website, but Kim Day always gets my family great deals. I use her for everything I don't book myself. http://www.turnberrytravel.com/contact.html
