Renters insurance also provides you coverage for anyone who may get hurt in your rental space. You can be sued if someone gets hurt and having coverage can help protect you. Also want to make sure there are no limits (or adjusted limits) on line items. Gun coverage usually has a small cap. As do tools, jewelry, electronics, art, and other things. Make sure you have the coverage you need so if something does happen, you're not just out on the street with nothing.

State of Ohio requires a permit for any home improvements. Your city or township may not have the requirement, but checking is always the best option. Usually a permit is cheap I and easy (process). Good luck with the work!

Chase checks all the boxes for me. They have the best mobile experience and offer all kinds of services depending on account type. I get reimbursed for arm fees, free wire transfers, overdraft options (don't use it). Three are many good options, but Chase is it for me. (Used to work there, but not anymore - still a shareholder and customer)

Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky. Well within or under your price point and fun to drive. Big wheels/tires, good brakes, different power options (n/a or Turbo/Supercharger), and good looking.

Sounds like a good deal. I just sold a 2000 civic lx with 268k on it for $1300. Ran good, a/c didn't work, basic transportation (int and ext were 6.5/10). Sold it in 12 hours on cl. This one sounds better with lower miles. Hard to go wrong with a cheap civic.

Make sure to check the requirements for your umbrella policy. Most require you to have liability limits around 100/300 and their policy will kick in after those limits.

Called trash for bulk pickup. Needed to be wrapped in plastic. I used a roll of shrink wrap / cellophane to wrap the mattress and put it at the curb. You could probably get a plastic cover from a mattress store to cover for bulk pickup. Shouldn't be too bad to get rid of...

Always loved Nelson! Great photos and video! Too bad the owners let it go to hell. Last time I was there was in 2012 and I won't go back. The tire walls are ramps that launch and roll cars often. The track surface is just dangerous. Really too bad - we all loved running at Nelson. Maybe someday they will repair the surface and fix the tire walls.... We can hope!!!

Beautiful truck! Don't forget that if you own it outright, the trade in value will reduce your tax bill on a new car purchase. That is a good amount of tax savings at $16,600... Good luck - can't believe no one has picked this up! Wish I was in the market for one (always wanted one!).

Worked there for 5 years (2010-2014) and the traffic is the big issue. You will come in early and leave late because you won't make it to work on time or you will sit in traffic for 30+ minutes just to get to 71/270. I drove from Pickerington every day and found several sweet spots that made the traffic not horrible. My drive to Dublin now is faster than the trip to Polaris... As far as working there - great company! There are good and bad people there (with over 10k people at Polaris working for JPMC, you will find all kinds!). I really enjoyed working there and the pay/benefits are great! They make it difficult to leave with their pay and benefits package. There are plenty of IT related jobs in Columbus (at Polaris) depending on what you want to do. The company is so large, you can pretty much find something to do that fits your skill set and that you like. Good luck!!

Adding the extra coverage to your existing home owners policy is the easy button. At the same time, talk to your agent about other things that may not be covered without additions to the policy. Things that never crossed my mind were tool coverage (included limit was something like $1k), artwork, cash (my policy only covered ~$500 in cash), ammo (I added the ammo value to my extended gun coverage), electronics... I made adjustments to my policy to cover what I actually needed covered and the price went up ~$100/yr. Good piece of mind to make sure if anything bad happens I'm covered.

I used to use an app called PDANet to tether my Verizon phone to my laptop. If that one isn't available, I'm sure there are others that would work without rooting your phone. Something to check into...

CONGRATS!!!!!! Well done! Waiting for the results is a killer! Now that you've passed, I'll tell you that is the easy test. The next ones are only 8 questions and you have 1 1/2 hours to complete the test. The questions have a 5pt, 3pt, 1pt and 0pt answers. The 0pt is usually easy to spot, but the others can be tough! When you get to these, make sure on the practice tests to pick the 5,3,1 and 0pt answers. This will help when you get to the actual test.

I think they all go like this... The "I have no idea what this is" happens with at least one question and makes you worry that the test went bad. Let us know when you get the results. Good luck!

I took the foundations v3 class and certification test 2 years ago. I knew nothing of the framework and went into the class cold. I used the book and practice tests to prepare for the test and passed. I studied 3 hours each night and the 1 hour before the exam (lunch). The foundations test is the 'easy' one. 40 questions and you need to answer 26 of those correct. I'm a terrible test taker and have trouble studying, but was able to pass.

Other factors to consider are the extra coverage options. Extra coverage for guns, jewelry, electronics, tools, cash on hand... Those things can change a premium but be well worth it if you experience a loss.
