  1. Depends on how far north west you are of 270, but generally yes.

I lived off Bethel Rd not far from 315 and found it best to take either 315N (through Powell) to 23N or 315N->270E->23N, depending on traffic.

This is my drive every morning and this is the best way to get north of Columbus. Sometimes 315 backs up because semis detour on it from some reason, but 23 always bottlenecks at Lazelle and is usually slow up to Orange Road.

  2. Yeah, I have no idea on that one. I was coming home from hockey practice on 42 heading towards Delaware. He was on the side of the road and pulled out right after me. I wasn't "speeding" (maybe 58 in a 55?), so I figured it had to be the tint or no front plate. And yup, that's what it was.

Where were they hiding? I drive from 23 to Riverside almost everyday and I rarely see cops on it unless there's a pack of them traveling together.

  3. That's a huge pet peeve of mine. I passed some woman this morning who apparently doesn't know what a rear defrost is, or how to work it... :fuuuu:

I was next to a guy at a light in South Arlington, car covered in snow, leaning over his wheel so he could see out of the phone-sized hole on his windshield he made for himself. Crept down the street at about 10 or so. It was the one time I wish there was a UA cop around.

  4. Just another day in Columbus when people can’t handle the combination of weather and their commute at the same time.

True. The only thing worse is when people don’t fully clean off their cars before they set out.

This guy seems like he’s doing it right, though.

  5. You can usually tell who really is in a bad position. I've bought those people meals in the past and they are grateful. It's the ones that just want the cash will usually get nothing more than a shrug.

Worst one was a lady getting belligerent at the Dublin Kroger several years ago because no one wanted to give her gas money. Yelling, throwing stuff from her purse. Pretty sure she got arrested.

There are some professional panhandling couple around Sawmill/161 all the time. I've heard that the male's father is a big-time lawyer in town, but I haven't cared to look into it. I'm sure people on here have seen them before. I think the woman was pregnant for like 2 years.

  6. Full price offer yesterday that expires tonight at 10 after the 3 showings that are scheduled today. Those individuals have been made aware to bring their best & highest offers.

Not surprised. I've got a few friends that are realtors in Delaware and they're constantly trying to find stuff under $250k to sell as they go quick.

  7. Blantons, Eagle Rare and Weller Reserve sits on the shelf here in Nashville.

Skip the kiddie shit and get into some Blaums, OKI, anything age stated MGP and Willett

Send me some Blanton’s then!

  8. Anymore a lot of the more specialty bottles are extremely hard to find without a Kentucky road trip. Also TIMING is everything. Find out when their allocation comes in and goes for sale, for most Liquor Barns they come in Friday and go on sale first thing Saturday morning. If you are there more than an hour after open most places will be sold out of the "good stuff"

Managed to snag 2 bottles of Eagle Rare this weekend while I was doing a quick down and back to the lake but they were the last 2 in the store and I got them by pure luck. My bar at home is... disgustingly well stocked especially for someone who seldom drinks at home. But hey, the collecting and huntin is part of the fun!

Do you want to part with one of those ERs??

To add, Giant Eagle does their weekly releases every Saturday morning, so prepare to stand in line. Also keep an eye out on OHLQ.com for updated inventory. It's a little slow, but at least it exists.

  9. Was just in KY this past weekend and figured i would bump this back up as i had a couple questions. While there I was able to pick up a bottle on my wanted list including Willett Pot still and Rye. Didn't have any luck on the family estate 7 year. The liquor stores there were crazy. I was able to find some HTF bourbon if i wanted to pay 10x what it should cost. Mostly Weller black, white, blue labels for $250+ pending which one.

Has anyone tried to negotiate with them on the prices they have?

I'm not on FB but had my wife join the BSM. aside from them is there any good 2nd sites/ forums that are worth joining?

I heard BSM was shut down recently on Facebook. Is it still running?

I would join COB (Central Ohio Bourbon) and OBL (Ohio Bourbon Lovers). I'm on both and I think that would be your best bet to find someone willing to do a trade/sell.
