  1. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://www.jackstransmissions.com/collections/gtr-gr6-rebuild-options/products/copy-of-gtr-850-complete-build-service
  2. I'm considering going. I doubt I make enough HP to compete in this particular event this year though. Unless they don't fill the spots, and lower the minimum HP to 600.
  3. I just took a 2002 F-150 crew cab lariat 4x4 on trade Saturday. Red with gray leather interior. It has right around 130k miles. Price wise, I would roughly be around $4500 + your truck on trade. Truck looks similar to this one: http://images02.olx.com/ui/18/11/03/f_340350803-128158040.jpeg PM me if you are interested. I will get you real pics tomorrow
  4. I think it's a stupid law, no question. Elon Musk is equally stupid though. He is going to kill his company fighting a losing battle. He should have just sold franchises and been done with it. When the dust settles, someone else is going to come to market with the same thing at a lower price point (technology gets cheaper) with the backing of a dealership network.
  5. Two of my best friends are. One is a journeyman lineman, the other is a Substation tech and foreman. They are both out of local 71.
  6. Few things... 1. RIP Paul Walker 2. Steve is a prick, and is SO unconcerned about something so "who cares" but feels compelled to be the top poster in the thread. 3. WTF is with these Porsches? IIRC they have the gas tank up front or something, but I thought anything sold in the USA had to meet NHTSA safety restrictions. Between the way this car, Ryan Dunn's car, and another one I read about seemed all burst into flames... It seems like there is something seriously wrong. Hell look at Lambos. Those things are destroyed all the time. Yet I never see stories about them bursting into flames.
  7. Stupid article is stupid..... Almost everything on that list I have got GREAT deals on. TVs especially. Last year I scored: a 32" LCD for $89 a 39" LCD for $179 a 42" LCD for $188 a 50" LCD for $288 and a 60" LED razor thin smart TV for $677 (ofcoarse this was the only "higher end" TV which the article singles out) THIS! I love my Black Friday deals... but get them all online. Most of which coming from Amazon. That being said... the average computer user doesn't have a chance at the best GoldBox deals.
  8. When I did this most recent commercial real estate deal I had attorneys price me anywhere between $500 and $3000 (which I found to be a ridiculously large spread) I was originally talking to out of town people because I was trying to keep the deal on the down low. I eventually talked myself into confiding in a local guy I trusted. The bill ended up being around $1000, but he did a little more work than what I originally had quoted out from the out of towners. The moral of this story is... prices will vary GREATLY. Get some estimates and hopefully find someone that you know and trust, or that comes recommended.
  9. Joe gave some solid advice. I would get a property attorney and give them the story. They could do the title search (as suggested)..... and presumably could also work out a contract that protects you AND the other person. Real Estate transactions should never occur without some sort of professional intervention. There are just far too many working parts.
  10. The most important question is, why? Is it a matter of HIPAA compliance? Is it just for personal piece of mind? Or are you a secret agent with the utmost sensative data that can't fall into the wrong hands? :gabe: For a meaningful recommendation, the "why" really needs to be known. As a general blanket for most people... I agree with below:
  11. Gotta feel good to open a magazine and see such an awesome spread about your own car after devoting YEARS to it. Congrats man! I don't typically read this mag, but I'll have to pick up this issue just because of this.
  12. She is worth 100 million.... People win that in the lottery. The money did not come from thin air... it came from her family who DID do the right things. Thats a perk of doing the right things. You can set your family up, no matter how worthless they may be.
  13. Speaking of reality checks.... How much in taxes do you think are collected from the "middle class" annually? and How much in taxes do you think are collected from "the wealthy" and corporations annually?
  14. Wow.... 1st. Ben, you do realize the difference between wealth and income, right? You know why these numbers look so crazy? Because you can't have less than nothing. But the top is limitless. It's only common sense that the gap will continue to spread. Why does it have to get you to the "upper echelon"? Most of the "upper echelon" people had someone in their family (maybe generations ago) who decided to work hard and do the right things. Through GENERATIONS of hard work and continuing to do the right things, their wealth accumulated. Which brings us to another problem with this county... peoples need for immediate gratification. If you wanna "Live like today is your last, because tomorrow may never come"... don't come crying for help when tomorrow shows up and you are unprepared. Love this. Seriously, I wish Will Mcavoy was a real person. Close.... but it's an apples to oranges comparison. If, after finishing monopoly the game restarted, and the people who "won the game" got to keep X% of what they accumulated and they could pass this on to "team members", of coarse people on that "team" would have an advantage. What our forefathers fought for was NOT for people to get free monopoly money and plastic buildings off of people who have excelled in the game for a very long time. They fought so you could get a seat at the table to play yourself. Do the right things, long enough (ie. possibly GENERATIONS) and you too can be the person you admire. (or hate... if your Ben)
  15. Never. Walmart doesn't own anyone, nor is anyone forced to remain employed there. Don't make enough to support yourself on Walmart income?? Here's a novel idea... Get a better job! Most people are in their situation due to the choices they make daily. I can't tell you how many people I know that can't balance a checkbook, but they can rattle off how many yards Tom Brady threw for, or how many yards receiving Megatron had last week. I can't feel sorry for these people. They don't lack the mental capacity for success, they lack the drive. Necessity is the mother of invention, and lets face it, there is no necessity any more. Until all the safety nets are lowered, and people are put in a position to either fend for themselves or live with the consequences, nothing will change. That goes for big business too. I'm so sick of a society that is ok with capitalizing profits and socializing losses. "Too big to fail" is the biggest farce I have ever heard of. You have a business, and you go bankrupt... goodbye. GM would be owned by someone else... as would half of wallstreet. The only difference is that the money would be provided by people who had a choice in the matter, and got to see a return on their investment rather than the taxpayer floating the bill without a say in the matter.
  16. Only one more year until I have to fight the urge to purchase an R32.........
  17. I actually think it's pretty cool. Nice pick up  I have still yet to drive anything RHD. I gotta try one someday though.
  18. I was going to sell my Rexspeed Type-C wing off my Evo. I can measure everything one evening this week.

  20. I sell Evos left and right. I could also find a Tacoma for you. If you want, PM me your VIN and miles and I'll work something up for you.
  21. Let me know when! Not all of us do When I worked for a franchise store, it drove me crazy that they basically robbed Peter to pay Paul, by charging the car department retail for repairs. I cost everything out to sales now.
