  1. Come trade that C5Z! I want one on the lot.
  2. I never used to have a problem with Dave at all. Unfortunately my last couple dealings up there will be my last. JP, you already know most of that reason. Don't forget that shep ran 8.2 Jamie's build looks to be bad ass, but for the time being there are still a dozen GT-Rs that have already ran the ETs that everyone speculates JC will beat...
  3. Been looking for these. But man the cleans ones bring all the $$ If only someone were selling one. I especially like the blue and white ones Yeh, I always keep this kind of stuff in stock.
  4. Thanks Mitch! Seriously dealing with people like you are why I enjoy this job. If you don't mind, I'd love to put this post on our website. Mitch told me what he wanted and was BEYOND patient till the perfect thing came in. And you sure got the truck shining man! I wish I could have you detail some stuff for us on occasion. Lol
  5. lol, why hide them in the back? Second person to ask me about a V wagon in 24 hours... Im gonna have to look into these Actually might have a line on one that a buddy of mine is taking on trade @ a higher line lot that he will wholesale me. I'll keep you posted, as you were the first person I thought of when he told me about it.
  6. Will do bro. Thanks. Car is prepped, everything I need is packed. See anyone that's going tomorrow. :fuckyeah:
  7. Bump, cause it's right around the corner. My E85 tune is under way. 560whp and climbing..............
  8. This coming Saturday is the Cambridge Cruise In. Big car show up town. Usually over 300 entries.
  9. I actually bought and sold a nice Saab 9-3 a couple weeks ago. Great car for the money. As Scott pointed out, I did have a couple people hesitant to pull the trigger due to them being out of business. (Actually a couple of my banks won't even finance a loan on them now for the same reason)
  10. I can definitely stock some of them.
  11. I am going to keep this thread for suggestions of what inventory I should stock. I have my typical bread and butter stuff that I will always be looking for. But I am always looking for more input. A good example of this would be NotBrian recently turning me on to the Volvo S60R market. I never knew how cool of a car this was. Nor did I know what kind of cult following it had. Needless to say.. now if I see a deal on an S60R, it will be on the lot. So what should I get:
  12. TL;DR I sell cars bruh Call me... I'll save you $$ and treat you like a real human bean
  13. This may be a little long winded, but if you want to know anything "About US" here it is: About 10 years ago I started in the car business. I only had a couple quarters left in college before getting my degree in Computer Programming, so I thought it would be a short lived job. Fast forward to graduation and by this time I realized that not too many people in the business were computer savvy, and I just so happened to like the job, so rather than leave for a cubicle gig I started using the internet to help build the dealerships sales. 5 or 6 years go by and things have went great. Unfortunately Higher level management changed and we didn't see eye to eye. This prompted me to accept a different job offer I had in the securities industry. ( As a financial advisor, stock broker, registered rep... all the same thing) This seems irrelevant but it isn't. During this time I met bank presidents that I became friends with, and I learned how to multitask like no other. In the meantime the dealership gets rid of the bad upper level manager and asks me to come back to run the store. I came back revived and now armed with more connections (ie. I need to put a deal together with the bank I am no longer dealing with an underwriter like every other dealer... I can now call a bank Prez and make things happen) Things went great.... BUT there were still so many inefficiencies, and things that were just wrong in my opinion that I couldn't change. THIS BRINGS US TO TODAY: In order to save people money, and also to treat them the way they should be treated, I knew I had to own my own store. Myself and two other managers (35 years combined experience between the three of us) started JET Auto Group JET stands for Jordan Ed Tom Here we Are: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/jordanedtom_zps83f98be6.jpg We basically have the best of both worlds right now. I'll explain: Franchise dealers have A LOT of overhead. Independent dealers don't usually have the same buying sources and financing sources as a Franchise.. so the playing field is usually even. In our case however, I have the MINIMAL overhead of an Independent AND I still retained all my connections for buying inventory and for Bank Financing. I also leverage technology to be at up 10 different LIVE Auctions at a single time. Tell the typical dealer you want a Red Fusion and they MIGHT watch the Ford Lane at Manheim Ohio. I will watch that one, along with 9 others all over the country.. all at the same time. Luckily I spent some time on high speed trading desks when I was in the Financial Service Industry... so this technique which would make most dealers head explode, is like walking and chewing gum to me. **ADDED Bonus... You get to do your deal on a desk that I purchased off of CR Legend Dr. Tilley** http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/image4_zpsa1e1af2e.jpeg So it sounds good... But you are like, bro... Where is Cambridge? Here ya go: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/map_zps4293c0b2.jpg Here is a pic of the dealership so far. Hopefully we can continue to grow and improve every year http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/jetwideangle_zps3a816f73.jpg So if any of you are in the market for anything, give me a call, shoot me a text, or send me an email. I will do my BEST to make the trip to Cambridge worthwhile. **Special Note** I am aware I am not the only person who sells car on this forum. Here are a few of my thoughts on that subject. 1st: If you already have a good relationship with a dealer (member or not) I am not trying to steal your business. You have a rare thing, and I respect that. Fortunate for me this seems to only be about 10% of people though. 2nd: I currently only sell preowned. Now I have sold 2013s in 2012 that were "preowned" with 1000 miles. I REALLY believe that pre-owned is the best route 95% of the time. There are occasional crazy manufacture deals that are legit and should be taken advantage of. MOST of the time however it is marketing garbage. I will be honest though. If you are better off buying new... I will flat out tell you 3rd: People always have an uncle's brother's cousin's sister's boyfriend's dad's buddy who is an "expert". I don't pretend to know everything, but I will sure find it out if I don't know the answer. Want advise on a car deal... just hit me up. **EDIT: Final note** I am not the typical dealer. I do this because I love it. It's not because I had a dealership handed to me, or because I needed to invest family money. I made some serious sacrifices in order to do something I love that I feel like I can do a good job at. I like to think you would be hard pressed to find someone that is as passionate about automobiles and handles as many facets of the business as I do. Here are a few more pics of the place: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/image2_zpse95c78ab.jpeg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/image1_zpse28aee7d.jpeg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/image6_zps87f30ff9.jpeg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/carfoxlol_zps1eac2d66.jpg
  14. I will be heading up Sunday the 18th and running. Anyone else planning on going this year?
  15. I just watched a bunch of really cool vids of this truck in testing. I sold a car to one of the guys involved in the builds son. He said Gale (spelling?) Banks was really cool and down to earth.
  16. Qui Keys does a lot of them for me. http://www.qui-keys.com/
  17. Figured it woulda been in this section :fuuuu: Thats what I get for not searching
  18. Surprised I didn't see this here yet, so I figured I would post it. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/gtr7s_zpsa149d3fa.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/omegaburnout_zps6dc135cd.jpg This pic shows the Syvecs AWD control allowing a RWD burnout :fuckyeah:
  19. My kids will thank you for showing me this. The only question is whether to buy 3 (I have three kids) or buy 4......:gabe:
  20. Out of the 80 some vehicles and motorcycles I have owned, this is the only one I really regretted selling. So I bought it back today http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii37/jordancampbell2008/shootoutcloseup.jpg
  21. Came here to post this. It's sad that I can get better deals with the coupons than I can using my "wholesale account" (on most items anyways)
  22. How in the hell did this thread go so sideways? I will watch this one without further interjection at this point.
  23. Bob is right. Fuck it Thorne. I would suggest shorts and flip flops.
  24. I don't care when it's from or how often it's used. It's right. I would venture to guess there is a direct correlation between amount spent on work clothing and income growth. If you could get real #s (which I know is next to impossible) I would love to see that data
