Don't get me wrong, it's possible to use crazy leverage strategies where the underlying security is "purchased" with pennies on the dollar. I just don't believe that makes up anywhere near 70% of the market. I'm not a perma-bull either. I see some things that I believe could cause a market down turn. But it's not the bullshit that this guy is spewing, and I don't see another (near term) market turn down to the likes he is talking about. Hypothetically speaking: If the market got cut in half tomorrow (Dow 7000) I know a ton of people that would take all their money off the sideline and invest. Because they remember how fast it just came back last time. Fundamentally that would put some really good companies selling at 4 and 5 PE ratios. And this guy is claiming a near 63% drop??? No fucking way

Where is he getting his 70% number? 50% is the typical max. Anything going over would trigger a "margin call" requiring the account holder to deposit additional capital, or liquidate securities. Guys like him typically hold short positions, then spew garbage like this hoping it causes a market dip. Then they make money.

Just to clarify a couple things: A. A dealer can not issue a second temp. I mean technically "they can". Just like I could choose to not pay taxes. I would get in trouble if I got caught, and so would they. B. The dealer can issue a temp tag (1) because you sign a Power of attorney paper. That paper, along with the title (that's currently in their name) allows them to produce you a temp tag.

https://ext.dps.state.oh.us/BMVOnlineServices.Public/TitleSearch.aspx Punch your VIN in that website. See if the title has been made. If so, bring that paper showing the title number to the title office, and for $15 they can make you a duplicate.

I just got our ordering info for the 2014 Cobra Jets. It's funny, we don't order them as a car. It is technically a "part", ran through the parts department. (To the tune of $98k) Ofcoarse they aren't road legal, so it makes sense.

I agree, and I'm not downplaying the achievement that it is. Just pointing out it's impracticality in a street setup. (and in some cases even a track setup) It reminds me of Dynoflash Al's Evo back in the day. Anyone familiar with the car will remember how he made 1000whp on some ridiculous large turbo ( I say ridiculous in relation to the displacement of the motor). Buschur was running 9.1 ETs with 200 less HP and his car weighed a few hundred more pounds. So everyone assumed Al would run deep 8s. The truth of the matter was that he couldn't keep the car in power. It's average HP was less than the Buschur car, and after many failed attempts at the track and the car becoming useless on the street, Dynoflash disappeared from the Evo scene.

Keep the power curve in mind. I would guess 40 mph cruising in third gear would be around 4000 RPM (which is still an anemic 200whp). The car would be moving 85+mph (in 3rd) by the time it was actually making 600 whp. If you can't tell, I'm far from impressed by that curve. Makes for a nice dyno queen I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
