  1. Funnies on CNN work out about as well as country music on BET
  2. Ahead of Huntsman. El oh el Who isn't? And god forbid someone believe people should suck it up and take care of themselves. The guy is a circus clown, don't get me wrong. He doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. But "next hitler"? Get real....
  3. I tried the link Wait list. No worries. I'm in no hurry. Thanks for the heads up. Looks cool so far.
  4. If you have any codes left, I'll try er out
  5. Probably not The bolded words can only make me assume you owe what it is worth and don't have equity (maybe even under water) With a high LTV you will need PMI which has gotten more expensive from what I have seen. Also you will have a hard time finding a lender on a high LTV loan that won't charge things such as: appraisal 250-500 title 700-1500 and more. If you are talking the course of one year going from 5.5 to even 4.0 (on 125k)would only save $1400 in interest Now a 5/1 arm at under 80 loan to value would net a 3ish rate.... but sounds like you would need to bring a huge chunch of money to the table
  6. The first time I saw this, I didn't believe it. I thought that our tax revenue had to be WAY larger than 2.1 trillion. After digging I found it to be true. Now here is the CRAZY part.... Regular income taxes received were almost the same as social security taxes received... Wait a minute... WHAT?!?? Our current social security tax rate is 4.5%. The only difference is, if you have 5 kids and make 15k social security doesn't still give you a 10k refund like our federal tax does under the current IRS code... So as a country our effective Federal tax rate is 4.x %. Yet they want 33% from me.... F that http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:U.S._Federal_Receipts_-_FY_2007.png
  7. There is no company that is the cheapest for everyone. They all have departments that's sole existence is to analyze risk, and come up with proprietary ways to quantify data and assign a given amount of risk for each situation or data range. Calling around is the only way to really find out. In my case American Family was significantly cheaper than anyone else. I have friends and family who my same agent couldn't touch their rates.
  8. Ron Paul. No question. Every president has to compromise. I don't expect to ever fully agree with their views 100%. My huge problem with Obama is his compromises are the polar opposites of what I believe. I think he is too naive for the job. "Hey, we want to be able to get around due process when we see fit" Obama - "No way! Never" "Its cool bro, you can have final say on anyone we detain" Obama - "Oh, ok. I'm cool with that, where do I sign?"
  9. If you find a good deal, go for it. One of the best things about guns is, if you get a good deal you aren't going to lose money.
  10. DING DING DING Here is the winner The other team should give up basketball and get into theatre. Their acting was way better than their ball handling.
  11. All manufactures are different... But Ford makes us print an "Incentive Acknowledgement" form that lists all rebates or incentives they qualify for. The customer has to sign it. So if a Ford dealer holds rebates, on top of being unethical, they are also out of compliance and if they get audited they will get hammered by Ford.
  12. I got a 570 a 2.99 rate just today Full disclosure: They were at 70% loan to value (paid off trade) and gave up $500 worth of rebates to take advantage of this program. But even figuring the lost $500 as a "cost of the loan" (which technically it isn't) that still came out to an effective rate of 3.x and was about 1/3 of what every other bank would charge them.
  13. Pics? If they are in good enough shape I'm interested.
  14. Dude caught ridiculous cards, and got extremely lucky multiple times. I am not saying he is bad, I just doubt he ever wins again. No different than Darvin Moon (2009 runner up) who I have mopped the floor with at Wheeling Island. (and I am far from a great player) When it comes to cards, all the skill in the world can't beat a streak of good luck BUT it does make for a good story, and probably helps sell the book
  15. The fact that you aren't aware that atleast two companies have already cracked the ECU pretty much sums up the value of your opinion on the subject. KEM and Fastlane have already done it. From what I've heard they are still working on reprogramming the tranny. I haven't seen hard fact on performance gains, but heard tell of +90rwhp Check out svtperformance for updates. There are a lot of in the loop guys on that site.
  16. Said the Mexican drug lord to the peasant :dumb:
  17. Would you like to wager on that? More in depth post coming when I get home....
  18. I love my 1911... That being said in a SHTF scenario I would have to go with a high capacity 9mm such as an xdm Two reasons: 1. Throw that "it only takes one shot" logic out the window. We are talking SHTF. That might mean multiple threats at once. 2. After seeing one (an xdm) literally thrown in mud then trounced on, and shot perfectly without a field strip, I'm a believer. Hell my 1911 won't eat junk ammo, let alone deal with something like that
  19. Anyone who will give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserves neither and will surely lose both...Ben Franklin
  20. US payment servers got crushed. I managed to pick one up using eBay.ca Canada... Free healthcare and stable eBay servers!

Nor is calling a shitbag 1990 integra a "racecar" Your complete ignorance and lack of acceptance towards anything outside of your personal train of thought is what's wrong with the country. Not a self sustaining 21 person family, regardless of their beliefs.
  22. PRICE DROP 5k Come and get it. I really don't wanna put it on CL and deal with the weirdies.
  23. The post didn't advise him to do anything. Both stated that those are the accepted averages when estimating payments. But on the subject of throwing out bad advice, pot meet kettle. Shorter isn't always better. I just signed someone up on a truck @1.65 % for 60 months. A better rate than a shorter loan provided. In fact, he had the ability to pay cash, but seeing how he can earn more in a 5yr CD than 1.65 it was best for him to borrow money from one bank, then lend his own to another... And profit.
  24. Annualcreditreport.com is a Legit way to check all of your reports truely for free. (once a year) It will link you to Equifax TransUnion and Experian and each of which will give you an offer to get your score. IIRC you can sign up for some 30 day trial and cancel before hand. The report itself will be 100% accurate as to what everyone else will see. The scores however can have some variations. Each bureau has about 100 different "models" (ie. TransUnion Auto enhanced 5.0 could be what the bank pulls and you could have a 650 according to them, even though the TransUnion site said you have a 705) I'm posting this from my phone... So it may not be the clearest. I'll try and put together a more coherent post from my computer. CLIFFS Use Annualcreditreport.com NOT freecreditreport.com Sign up for trial for scores Scores can vary between what you see and what the bank sees.
  25. If your score is over a 700 and you finance through a bank, but do paper at the dealership (indirect lending) they won't ask for proof if income anyways so you can pretty much put whatever you want on the application. Rates are really low. It's usually $20 per month for every $1000 financed, but with good credit and the current rate environment you can be less than that.
