Hey, just want say thanks to those who came out. I was really suprised at the turnout given the date change and the crazy weather of late. We had well over a couple dozen people at one point from multiple forums (and quite a few who aren't a part of any) and the day actually turned out to be quite nice. Wind even died down later in the day. 3 generations of Supras were represented along with a few other automobiles. Nobody was a jackass and everyone got along great. Thanks again to those who helped with food, games, etc. For those who stayed for the light cruise, thanks for coming along and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. I wish my suprise Bald Eagle stop would've been more fruitful than simply the silhouette of one eagle. Nobody crashed or broke down. Can't beat that. I hope to set up a serious all day drive later on in the season. I will be scouting the area I have planned ahead of time so as to get a better idea of time, gas usage, stops, problem areas, etc before setting it up. This will not be for cars that are not fully prepared for rigorous driving, ie arent going to overheat (lotta elevation change), bad brakes or suspension (every kinda corner you can imagine - you will shit your pants more than once) or for drivers who's skill levels don't match their confidence. This isn't intended to be a large meet, anyway. I'll update when the time comes closer.

Keep an eye out for supras, etc. More than likely, I will be getting a spot in the NW corner of the park. All the way at the back, the road makes a big loop. Near there. My number is posted if anyone has a hard time finding it.

Well, another f'n problem has arrived for me. Seems my car is not happy at all and Im currently unable to figure out the problem. I do not have access to another automobile as my gf is out of town with the rav until Monday. That means, I cannot even go pick up some damn hamburger buns for the hamburgers I have here let alone make it to the park or lead the cruise. Im really out of ideas here. Starting to feel like this meet isn't supposed to happen. Combined with some recent personal issues, I'm at my wit's end for this weekend. Gonna screw with the car a bit more tomorrow morning or later tonight when I've calmed down a bit. If someone would grab some hamburger buns and charcoal, I'll reimburse you at the meet. I should be able to get the car and myself down there at least. Honestly, at this point, if I hadn't planned it, I wouldn't even be going.

That's Capcom's "street fighter" version. There's supposed to be a '3d' planed version by Namco called Tekken vs Steet Fighter that'll play more like Tekken, I believe. It'll be interesting to see how they port the Tekken chars into the SF world and vice versa. Personally, I've never been a fan of any of the SF vs Marvel fighters. Sorry guys, Sunday, for sure. I may be a little breezy and cool but it should be dry. If this damn coolant temp sensor doesnt fix my current issue, I might be limping it down there and riding on the cruise with someone else. Shit, nothing's going right lately. lol

89 Supra auto tranny A340e Tranny was working great. Pulled motor to rebuild. Reinserted motor. Test drive after everything is done and notice a tranny issue. Basically, the transmission ignores L and 2, for the most part. Everything works fine; P, R, N, D and O/D. If you put it into L or 2, it may drop down into them a little sooner than if you had it in D, but otherwise, it upshifts like it's in D. It used to hold L/1st, well, for as long as you had it there regardless of rpm or speed. Same with 2nd. Suddenly, it doesn't. The tranny is throwing no codes. I disconnected my tranny ecu and it shifts manually with no problems including holding each gear so it shouldn't be a mechanical problem. Im wondering if it's a solenoid problem. There are 3 solenoids. No. 1, No. 2, and a lock-up solenoid. I cannot currently get under there to check any of them, however. Any ideas anyone?

I'd be interested. The car cleans up well, but its far from perfect/pristine. It is 'dyno-able', as well.
