Holy shit we agree on a few things.

Thank you for your feedback but in my world when we work on projects such as a re-launch, it's nice to start with an end in mind. It's not dumb to put a goal out there. The real goal or end here is to get open and back to life. That date is fluid and can move. The difference is I have no faith in leadership unless they are looking at a date when to get life moving again. Currently they aren't they are looking at flattening the curve only. We all do. No one of us is special here in that regards. The point is we don't have to quarantine the entire world forever. We open up and protect the higher risk folks when we do it. They have done some good but now it's time to shift gears. Not sure why anyone should be told to shut up. This is the US, where opinions welcomed not shut down.

To your point that's the REAL reason we should be taking this month off.....to prepare for that. It's not going to stop Covid but it will buy-time to get the medical community prepared for when we re-open. Time to pick that date and work towards it. They should have done that from day 1 vs going over what they have been.

Its not your fault but those are the cards you were dealt. We all have cards. For you and many others the risks are higher but the rest of America has to get back to work. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

Time for people to begin taking care of themselves. Lots of the underlying chronic health issues are avoidable by eating better and generally taking care of ones self. Obesity, high blood pressure, smoking, copd, diabetes, all greatly increase odds of a bad outcome. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

sure...but so do a lot of things in life. The trend against age is clear still regardless of when or where. there's going to be a fine line regardless. country has to get back to living eventually. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm

Agree. I had some materials delivered from Home Depot the other day, finished up cutting everything yesterday and if the weather holds up and I have some free time later today from work, I hope to lay it all out and get ready to breaking some dirt. Ordering a load of topsoil and what not too.

I hope not. We are going to have to face the virus and numbers sooner or later anyway. We need to just ramp up prep. for it in terms of capacity and meds, etc. Covid isn't going anywhere. Social distancing is fine and in terms of self quarantining, it's really the age 60 and up and anyone with issues that could expose them as more vulnerable. Time to get back to life with some new protocols in place is all.

Imo we have to eventually open up and just deal with it. We aren't going to stay "flat" or dropping and the virus isn't going anywhere. Why we in ohio continue to tighten restrictions when we aren't hearing about system overloads is confusing. I wish the media and what not would stop talking about these numbers and instead work harder on what we are doing progress wise to get treatments out there so we can begin dropping the number of deaths. We don't need to be at a rate of zero to open up. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk

When did it get "real" for you? Home and like horror movies or sci-fi and have a tolerance for anxiety, then you might be able to handle him. I began watching his video last week as I've been studying health and wellness and with my uncle having died just recently of COPD like my father did 6 years ago I wanted to learn more about what I witnessed. I was there both time and it was tough. Then I began watching the rest of his videos and combined with reading about what the military is facing I'm now more interested in what this might look like 6 months from now. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/military/story/2020-03-31/spread-of-covid-19-on-carrier-theodore-roosevelt-is-ongoing-and-accelerating-captain-says He's a little funny maybe even cheesy at first but he gets real fast. Keep in mind he's been doing videos online and keeping youtube attention spans for this long he needs to be. Watch and share your opinions.

^^ this. one of the big things I'm glad to see is my wife and kids finally head my OCD warnings about putting handbags or grocery bags or backpacks on tables our counters. Thankfully they don't wear shoes in the house as that's been a rule for me since day 1.

You're the one who delineated red vs blue. Notice I didn't. Ohio though has fared pretty well.

Looks great. Wife wants to build 2-3 of those next week. I'm game. May go get supplies in the coming days.

Hopefully various states and local gov't WAKE UP and realize that while they were going after ICE and giving drivers licenses to illegals or calling themselves sanctuary cities, or worrying more about criminals than citizens or trying to paint Trump as a bad-man or figuring out more ways to give away our tax dollars they should have instead been working on preparing themselves and protecting their citizens for such a disaster and preparing their own citizens to be stronger themselves. That's the REAL job of Governors and local gov'ts. Time for them to actually LEAD!

You already saw the Q7 in my previous post and now comes Greg's Daily Driver, a beautiful 2014 AMG E63-S AWD Wagon. A second owner vehicle now in Greg's possession for nearly 3yrs now, this beauty has been in need of a good once-over since he's owned it. Featured in Pure black which shows everything it was his desire to have it compounded and polished to near perfection without chasing the RIDS too much. Good call and the results I think turned out great. As you can see the paint was pretty hammered. Add into that it's a Ceramiclear paint, which is an extra hard layer of clear, thus making correction with the CORRECT product critical as to not burn off all that built in hardness. Clearly it's not bullet or scratch proof but when corrected it is less susceptible to normal wear and tear. Years of car washes though took it's toll. Before Shots: Sitting on winter wheels, she still looks amazing...but then there are really nice OZ Branded wheels too. I love the stock ride hieght She goes like hell but stopping power is there too I do miss having pure black as it always looks so nice properly done Along with the vehicle itself, Greg brought me his summer wheels to prep and coat as well.

So a friend of Rick Schnipke from right here on CR, Greg, has brought me two vehicles this early spring, one of which is his better half's new-to-her Orca Black 2019 Q7 full optioned with the sport package and more. The vehicle was a swirl city of typical Hard Audi clear that had taken an initial several thousand mile beating from rotary car washes as it was an in-service courtesy vehicle for the service department. Mind you, one of the NICEST loaner vehicles I've ever seen in-service by a dealership. No doubt the 22" factory wheels set this beauty off well. The approach here was to complete it with my Premium Enhancement Polish Package that normally sets the expectation at 75% or greater correction thus greatly minimizing the swirls. In this case, with properly dialed-in products and a little more effort, I'm proud to say I delivered Greg a nearly full correction approaching 98% or better. This was his second vehicle to me in as many weeks and thus I wasn't going to let this one fall short. Part of that decision included going with a dual layer approach with Cquartz Ceramic Coating and Trim coating too. As another thank you, I included a full glass polish and primer coat to them before layering on a glass coating over all exposed glass surfaces too. FYI, all pics here were taken using the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in 12mp 4:3 ratio mode. A little punchy but outstanding in terms of detail and clarity. Most were at 2x zoom too. Cropped to 3:2 ratio most of the time but otherwise, a job well done by the latest in camera phone technology. So here's where it all began. Photos don't do the damage justice as it was really in far worse shape than any photo or video could capture. Tail lights to me are even more critically important to have corrected than headlights as they often reside on the sexist curve of the vehicle as ones eye transitions from the side to the rear. These were classically dulled and lifeless. It never surprises me to see areas of vehicles that were cleaned with some type of abrasive pad like a magic eraser, etc. Marks like this are not uncommon and do require a paint thickness gauge to ensure no permanent damage was done. Thankfully here, it was all good and as you'll see, corrected to perfection without issue. I call my past few years of hobbyist work Reflective Surfaces for a reason. Many here know I have a fond love for black paint and with many of my vehicles completed being black, I've had quite a bit of practice creating mirrors out of black paint One of the biggest advantages of Ceramic Coatings is the way they enhance a greatly refined finish. Let's bend some light shall we? Notice too how the tail lights have now come alive with clarity. IMO, one of the BEST looking SUV's on the road right now. I wish everyone here could experience the refinement of the interior too as it is even better than what you are seeing here. 22's really set this beast off and are so rare in the wild, this is perhaps the only one I've seen wearing them around Cbus. The BEST angle / view of it IMO Now with the swirls removed, that metallic flake can really shine through Perfect Pillars. Another often heavily swirled area that REALLY sets off a vehicle as one approaches it. I love perfectly corrected pillars Another added touch Greg decided on was protecting the exposed plastic pieces with their corresponding ceramic based coating. Now the deep clean just-finished appearance of a well dressed plastic will stay for 12-18 months. Did I say Reflective Surfaces? Yes, I did. Many thanks to Rick for the referral and Greg's trust in my work. Rick, I have a little something for you as my thanks, whenever we can once again meet up. Keep me posted if anyone else would like to see their vehicle cleaned up for spring/summer. This funk won't last forever!!

We moved from WebEx to ClearSlide and like it so far. Not sure of all the business reasons why but we also use it to store a lot of marketing information and collatoral released to the sales teams. We've integrated it with SalesForce too.

Stage II with the upgraded pulley is great and won't cause you any major issues. Just be aware that the cats will go at some point. Dual Pulley Stg 3 like mine began eating them after my first track session. I pulled quite a few runs that I'm sure cooked them. It's a pricey removal and an even more expensive replacement. $3k-4.5k total depending. The other issue is the heat exchangers on either side of the supercharger. Their weak already and no replacements readily available aftermarket. $600-800 per if getting them replaced. Not difficult jobs but a PIA. IMO, keep it Stg 1 and you'll greatly reduce the issues.

^^ THIS. Even now still, someone needs to go back to that shop and say something.

Thanks Rick! Getting ready to begin the 2020 Season. Been down with a shoulder injury and need to get it fixed up without risking it as the pain was pretty bad. Once good however, I have a few sweet rides about to get prettied up.
