  1. there were several democratic house members showing the same bias against him and for impeaching him after he was inaugurated. they've had their minds made up for years and that was evident in the vote.
  2. All of the above. IMO it was a bad move but they were damned if they didn't as the Dems have a base of people that wanted them to take action, even if that action was harmful to their cause. The eye opener for me these past several years is how thoroughly corrupt the system has become from Washington right through most of the media. For all that has been said, Orange man has been correct on that since day one. In the end, I see more disdain for him as a person than for his policies but if that's what determines which candidate people support so be it. We all knew what he was like as a person going in. He has my vote again in 2020.
  3. I went with this one and love it. Money clip comes off with ease making it super slim and smooth. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7KVJ78/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. By no means an expert but I went through a lot of learning when selecting the large one I have. Key is what you will be using it for and will the units have the cfm flow to drive the tools. Then consider the usage of it....occasional and infrequent or every week and constantly. If your not going to be using it much an oil free would be fine. They have a shorter life than an oiled unit but again, how often will you really be using it and for how long each time? I went local with Home Depot and their brand simple because they are decent products with the ability to buy on-site or in store warranties and they are cheap. My 60Gal was $99 for an additional 5yrs on everything. Lowes has a nice line up in their Kobalt brand. Hindsight, I may have gotten theirs but I had to put a marker down for price spent. Just to mix it up, these are the two I would put out there for you to consider. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-20-Gallon-Single-Stage-Portable-Electric-Vertical-Air-Compressor/1000578469 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-20-Gal-175-PSI-Portable-Electric-Air-Compressor-C201H/206189626 I would also recommend you make sure you have a 30amp or better dedicated line for it. Mine is 220v and at the same time I had a dedicated 30amp installed for my deep freeze and garage fridge too. Had all three done for a very reasonable price with a local electrician (journeyman) who is retired and does work on the side. Awesome guy if you need anything. Good luck!
  5. His and hers....carrying the cabinetry and style from the upstairs to the lower level. Now the kids each have a space and we don't have to look at all their stuff. We claimed part of the cabinets though.
  6. I knew that was coming. First coupes, manuals, who would have though sedans would die....and wagons; fuck, can't we have anything besides SUV's and Trucks? Add in kids today don't get wood for wheels anymore....America Should be Better. /rant
  7. ^^ nope..not true. I can help walk you through the calculations. In the end leases aren't limited in miles as you can pre-buy them cheap. Vehicles depreciate the same regardless of how you pay for them. ^^ good move. You have pretty much the same deal I have on my RedSport. $65k car for mid $500's. General rule of thumb is anything 1.00 to 1.05% of MSRP is a great deal. That's the main reason I ended up with my Car....the price was $250-$300mo lower than what I could get a similar German brand for at the time. Ironically, I bought mine in Dec. too. Great month to make deals.
  8. First year in a long while that the wife and I aren't really fired up about black Friday deals for our wants. Call me fortunate or bored but we're in it for the kids this year and even there it's thankfully no longer toys or silly stuff. Hunting down a nice 4 ball bag for my son's bowling needs and my daughter is looking at a new bed and make over of her room. Ugh on the latter part of that. LOL!
  9. Not gonna lie, it's in the running as a daily for either my wife or me next. She is also looking at the new Rav 4 Plug in with 300hp. This wagon is good looking for sure though. Offers plenty of room and the feature while not killer are all good. The prices if them used are great which is attracting us to it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  10. Agree. It was like they tossed the mic to a guy off the street and said "go"
  11. I still think I'm being punked. Watched it live and was waiting for the real truck to come out. The best comment I've seen online is that it looks like a partially rendered image from a mid 90's computer game.
  12. Meh.....if I'm spending that much for an EV, I'm going Tesla Performance model. I currently have a love/hate for it still but more love as of today and having detailed several of them. I can only imagine if I owned one for a week how I would then really love it.
  13. So Derek referred a childhood friend who now has a little one of his own and two more in the oven to me to clean up his new family hauler. This is a new-car prep and ceramic coating for perhaps one of the nicest looking minivans available today. Michael picked up his Fully Coated van last weekend and I hope is enjoying the heck out of it as it's for sure is about the most flawless paint and finish wise it could be. As part of my New Vehicle Package, it was fully decontaminated, polished and ceramic coated. It was loaded with water spots, had several areas of tree sap or something likely while at the dealer and the glass really needed a good cleaning and polish to shed water. Now with the polish and coating that Brilliant Black color is living up to its name and the glass will negate the need for wipers with speeds 45mph+ With this package, Michael upgraded to the CarPro 3 layer system on the paint, included the trim coating and of course the wheels and even a dual layer glass coating as part of this package. Thank you again to Derek for the referral and of course to Michael with trusting me with his brand new Pacifica with only 312 miles on it. Love the tint and overall look for sure!
  14. So Doug Funkhouser brought over his beast to get it's interior cleaned up. It's a 2000 Ford Excursion Turbo Diesel with about 113k on the clock. It's a newer vehicle to him thus it was time to cleanse the interior of nearly 20yrs of funk. While decently cared for the interior being light in color did gain a few shades of brightness back and is now fully steamed/germ free and smelling fresh. It's always amazing how light interiors get dingy over time and our eyes adjust to seeing it that way until cleaned. Didn't get many pics, and what I did were just with a cell phone, as it was a late-day delivery that I started after work but here's the pics which IMO do NOT reflect what most 19yr old Excursion would look like. For something that has likely hauled it's share of kids and stuff this one cleaned up like it is just a handful of years old. Ironically I had no thought or inclination as to what year it was and even I was shocked to find out it was a 2000. Continued thanks to Doug for his trust in my work. You found a beauty in this beast. I need to get a pick of the exterior of it as it's a pretty well sorted out machine with a nicely sought after power plant.
  15. LOL! I watched it too. Agree....will watch again as it was entertaining.
  16. 40k on those isn't bad. actually better than I have ever gotten. you really going to keep it more than 40k more?
  17. Always knew that land out there was going to be making someone millions at some point. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  18. So a local car-guy with a few toys has a 1997 Mitsu Montero with nearly 212k miles on the clock that his wife uses when she goes into work thus protecting her 2016 MBZ from the abuse of a tight parking garage. One has to LOL when evidence of a bumper incident happens to this beast though as most of the skuffs are on the running boards/step to get in it. In addition to a few vehicles, the owner also has a few pups that call this their mobile home. I don't think he'd mind if I shared that there was over a full Kroger Bag full of dog hair extracted from the vehicle. I know....I wish I had some before pics, but I'm bad at that, however, trust me, the carpet was a fur coat. Inside overall smelled like dog and had it's share of clean up needed, again, not to pick...but it matched the outside. In order to tackle this and make it road-worthy and presentable for his wife to continue using, he opted for my premium interior package. I'll let Doug who is a CR Member in the Facebook Group chime in their on how it turned out for him, but let's just say it's not been this clean for a while and both were pretty darn happy. Onto the After pics: Battle Cruiser Exterior Comparison of before/after just a few passes down the center of the rear carpet. Yeah.....it was in need of some love. Just note that yes, I did clean the glass inside and out but it was after these basic cell phone shots were taken. Overall, I want to thank Doug for the opportunity to show him what could be done here. Also to Clay and Nicky who have likely shared or pointed him my way. Small world too as Doug and my wife both went to Law School at Capital and have faced-off in court several times
  19. Haha! Honestly Matt I approach all vehicles like their my own but yours with four little ones, two in car seats.....I had to lean in and ensure the creepy critters and germs were gone. That's what I would want for my kids for sure. Enjoy and just don't let them stuff any star bursts in the seat belt cubicles like whoever had it before did.
  20. Got a last minute call from a friend and fellow Columbus Racing member to detail the interior of a new-to-him Toyota Minivan. Long story short they have rental that is going back tomorrow thus he jumped in as soon as he could go pick up the 2011 van and bring it to me. This is my Premium Interior Detail with the carpet steam extracted, leather steamed and treated. I'm horrible about before pics but this one was a grandparents cruiser to Florida so let's just say the seats were loaded with dirt and likely sun screen. Did I mention the carpet had like 5lbs of sand in it? Anyway, it's a 2011 with over 120k on the clock but I successfully dialed back the age in terms of interior wear and tear. Thanks again to Matt Turbitt for once again allow me the opportunity to clean and sterilize the beast for you all. Those here may remember his other minivan, a VW that I did a few years back. That one was also a strong challenge. As a bonus I cleared up the headlights and of course per my promo, ran an ozone treatment to it all. 21. ^^ Something I'll not every likely have the pleasure of saying. You make it sound so easy and casual. Love it!
  22. Hey guys, with winter approaching the interior detailing tends to pick up in pace and in advance of it, I've revamped options and pricing. My Basic Interior Packagecan be done in just a few hours for same day drop off and pick up and start as low as $35. The Premium Interior takes a little longer but starts as low as $95 For this package I've broken it up into options with discounts when combined thus you can get just the Carpet, just the Seating or bundle the two. Additionally since not every car needs it done, I also offer Headliners Ala-cart and of course all three combined for the best deal. Pricing is based on seating to include: 2 Seat Coupes 4 Seat Coupe or Sedan 2 Row SUV or Trucks 3 Row SUV or Minivan Contact me via PM, Text, website form, carrier pigeon, etc. for details. ** Ozone in October Treatment Special ** As I make my way through my sons new car project, a key part of it was removing the 84,000 miles and 5 years of "funk" that was there. Once fully cleaned and dried, I put it through 2 treatments of Ozone including the HVAC System and it's back to new again. If your interested in the above packages, I'll add in two free Ozone sessions (about 4 hours total) at no charge. I'll need the vehicle overnight even if you choose a smaller package but it will be worth it. Keep in mind it works best on vehicles that have go through a full steam extraction in my Premium Package but it does do wonders regardless. -tim
  23. Yep. Prolly more like an Elantra give the pricing and warranty and slowness.
  24. Haha! I actually would have kept it if I had a 3rd bay in the garage. To let it sit outside for him fine, it would have been a teens ride, but given it would have been mine at that point, it would needed to live inside. I am bummed but I won't lie, it's offset by the profit made yes.
