  1. Love it. Too bad car tires won't do that.
  2. Nope....but I bet if you drop a courtesy email to the person who created it that you would like a copy for personal use they might just respond well.
  3. Wheel Medic off I-71. I bought 4 new tires for the MS3 and couldn't believe that 3 of them were bad. I didn't believe it either. Brought the car to them, and the older fellow out back, Jack, showed me very clearly. I took his word, bought 4 more new tires completely different brand. BAM...fixed. Returned the bad tires for credit.
  4. All religions have some crazy ass faith based horse shit stories that sound like someone got drunk, stayed up late watching B movies on USA and wrote them between puffs on a crack pipe.
  5. Trade car in on new 5.0L /Thread.
  6. What dumb ass parent puts their infant in anything that's on a raised surface :dumb: If they are dumb enough to put their infant on a raised surface, they likely can't read or understand warning label :dumb::dumb: $5 says people will belt them in and put them on a raised surface :megusta: Further proof that not everyone should be allowed breed or if they do, not keep their kids unless they can pass some requirements.
  7. WOW! Very sad and I must say I didn't expect that. I'm not sure thought but to me for all the people in that car if they have secured them in cuffs and given the "potential" for something bad occurring it just seemed like he opened the door for the guy without any precaution while doing so I don't know procedures or police details but it just seemed like his gaurd was way down. Even the back up officer seemed that way. I mean the moment a shot was fired wouldn't he have drawn his gun and gone after the bad guy? The article says the dirt bag was wounded....cop should have killed him point blank. Again, don't know the details, but I'm a little confused by why they let him live. IMO they could easily have gotten away with multiple shots into his head.

  9. HHGreg is advertising a 1080p 43" Sammy for like $350.....
  10. Step one: Leave the fiance at home. 99% serious. Heading back there myself in a couple weeks for our usual 6 nights of fun and havok. Staying at the Palazzo We stayed there last year too. Venetian the year before and TI the one before that. Can't go wrong at any of the major nice hotels. I'll post back a bunch of good stuff to do. Let me know what your budget range is and be real. PM me if you wish.
  11. WOW! Sounds like he got what was coming. New car on new stock tires, wet track, never got to get a feel for it....just jumped right in both feet first.....Oh well..... I hear he got a phone call right afterwards. It was Darwin and he said something about taking him and his car?
  12. You will be paying for part of everything including childcare. Being unmarried doesn't change a thing. Be prepared that to back dated support too. You won't get off the hook on that. Lawyer up now. Depending on how she approaches this with her attorney, you might not like the outcome. Nope. New guy in the picture doesn't mean anything. Legally the OP is the father, period. Nothing changes. Regardless of your opinion on how the child support is spent, it's owed. Don't make me take this 22 pages again. I have a busy night. Not at all a dick move. Resonsibility man. Nothing relinquishes you. Father still pays for the life he created. The new father didn't bring that child and related expenses into the world. OP Pays.
  13. Perhaps they wouldn't but I'm committed to being very open and real with the details about quality and what it takes to understand it. Otherwise you end up with people investing a lot of money in consumer grade kit lenses and believing there's no real benefit in owning good glass. It is all value based, but you can't put a value on bad bokeh. Phil knows me well enough from CR too that if he had quesitons or if I was scaring him off he'd point it out. He's an engineer too....he can appreciate the details Rant: If I read one more post on a message board about how nice the iPhone is at blurring background I'm going to scream. It's bokeh sucks too. I pitty a woman if she ever asks me how she looks in an outfit because I'm calling it like I see it; don't blame the clothes :fuckyeah:
  14. I'm with you on this. The hard part is the signs were likely there. Reading through twitter it seems so. My kids are 6 & 9 and I can only hope we are able to be aware if not involved as much in the future as we are now. Everyone warns us that there will come a time that what we have now will be taxed. RIP to what seemed liked a good kid.
  15. Sorry to hear. Close to home too. Way to hard to see any life lost let alone such a young guy.

    Depression

^^ Been there done that. It's like making money, the more you make the more you spend. Sure, tons of good things like saving, etc...happen but in your case and I've been there and go there still, the more you achieve the heavier the pressures in life become. Sometimes you don't know you're lifting tons more but you are. What's helped me is to simplify things a bit and to go to counseling. I'm not above saying that because it does help. No different than a massage for your body, a good sit down massages your mind. For me it helped put things in perspective and I realized that there were a ton of pressures in my life that I just plain dealt with that my mind and subconscious was not happy with. Once I realized all of them, I put a plan in place to address the concerns. It's a constant work in process for all of us.

  18. It's one of the best looking ones I've seen. IMO it Needs just a wee bit of a drop all around and some tint. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/135670453/original.jpg
  19. Self portrait of a Jellyfish ?
  20. Can't say I've any experience with it, but it seems to rate well. I've looked at Macro's and would say that a 60-100mm is a good range to consider only because you can be further from your subject thus allowing for easier lighting.
  21. Looks like a combo of the 18.0-55.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 & 10.0-20.0 mm f/4.0-5.6 Berto did some excellent work on these shots. My only insight is if they are RAW, to help recapture the highlights, especially in the falls. I did it easily with a web compressed jpeg so it should be a snap in a RAW converter.
  22. Here too. I typically am in the 100-150mm range. The 85mm lens however does work well. It doesn't quite compress the features as much as would using an actual longer focal length, but it still works. Pic Whore Time :gabe: This is with the 85mm on a 30D body. A friend of mine who helped shoot a school outing took this and I did the processing. It's a great if not perfect example of how DOF and bokeh really play into the importance of the shot. http://i541.photobucket.com/albums/gg378/pdqgp/85mm.jpg
