  1. Yes, I am serious. We have a Weber Genesis Grill that I leave exposed to the elements all year and it holds up fine. However, over the season crap gets on the real stainless steel doors and front panel and I use Barkeepers on it with excellent results. You can even see in this photo that it has some goobers on the door. I'll just hit those with a little cleaner when it warms above freezing. No issues. I use a wet rag and some BK Friend but the difference is mine does not turn black aka the finish isn't coming off. I do think it boils down to the finish of your grill may just be a thin polished finished. It will also depend on the grade of the stainless and said finish. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/119768354/original.jpg
  2. http://barkeepersfriend.com/ I always have this stuff handy. I use it to clean the windshields of my cars down in prep for rain x. It's the only thing I know of that gets any of the lines from wipers and acid rain stains out. Would work well on the grill if it's stainless. Sounds to me like you were polishing some type of aluminum coated metal or something.
  3. The silver GS looks great. I'd do that save some bucks and he'll, if you want more power just boost it in a couple years. Doing so reasonably Would give you something different and powerful still. Just a thought.
  4. You're coming from a 350z? Lack of torque will piss you off daily. Just my opinion.
  5. Yeah Baby. It's you! Buy it. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140955566/original.jpg
  6. That Chevy Civic Si looks good. :lolguy: The new Beetle is cool in a girly kinda way too. I just wish manufacturers would stop putting stickers all over cars though. Everything from the Mustang down to this one look like my kids went nuts on them.
  7. Nice pics and cools cars. Thread needs more booth babes though. :masturboy: Ben, don't disappoint upon your travels up there.
  8. Nice home defense gun.
  9. Welcome to CR. Nice car. Good name too.
  10. Thanks Andrew. I'm glad it all worked out. Yes, DOF wise, I would shoot that shot over at between f/6.3 and f/8. Especially since there's no background to need to blur out.
  11. It does great in low light. Reading the reviews they state Panny does better but every vid I've seen the colors of the Sony are better and detail wise, you're splitting hairs. Especially considering the $100 delta in price. I didn't want to spend over $400 so for me it fits the bill very well. Photography will still continue to be my love. So far I'm very happy with the Sony. I'm newer to video and chose Sony Vegas Movie studio HD for my software. I hear it's in the tops of the software and easier to learn / use than Adobe Premiere which I also have. I agree, the Sony software is very intuitive.
  12. Not the same one, but yes, iOS has a few like that. I have one has 3-4 new ones per day added. I usually keep my lock screen but rotate my others the apps lay on top of every couple days.
  13. Okay....was bored. What's yours? Perhaps keep this thread Work Safe ? Thumbnail View: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140930006/medium.jpg

    need a new bed

$2,000 is about right for an average to above for King size. Get with Trey though. Don't skimp on your matress or bedding. Expect between $100-$150 for a good sheet set too. I love our bed and don't regret anything about buying the best and enjoying it daily.

    iPhone guys

Not BT but I have an app that does wireless to my Epson Artisian if in the end you go that route.
  17. I've not done much in the way of personal photos or even leisure for my own enjoyment. Mainly just processing for clients. Enjoyment wise, I've been using the hell out of my video camera so that I can build my skills there. Toughest part is building up the story using only one camera/angle at a time. For example, my kids ice skating will take 2-3 visits to capture the non kid footage I'm looking to build into it.
  18. Cool. You have edits showing before and after in your iMessage. We can connect this weekend to get you CS5
  19. Derek needs to hit them up to be their tire supplier.
  20. it's a nice idea, but without having optical zoom, it's an awful lot of trouble and expense for basically a good grip and better microphone. I downloaded a 3x digital zoom video program for the iPhone and it seems to work very well. True test will be what the video when zoomed looks like on my HD TV. if I'm going to carry that, I'm going to put my HD Video camera in my pocket. Now the cost of which is about $400 vs $150 but it's dedicated and has a 42x optical zoom. When holding the Sony in one hand and the iPhone in the other, the weight difference is barely noticeable. iPhone 4s = 4.9oz Sony CX160 = 8.8 oz http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140905761/original.jpg
  21. In commemoration of its 75th and final year, a documentary look at the first color film and the last lab in the world still processing it.
  22. Here's my next quick purchase http://store.petapixel.com/products/Leica-Look%252dAlike-Skin-for-the-iPhone-4.html
  23. In for pics :masturboy: Strictly for professional review of exposure and composition.
  24. I just drank one with the wife and was about to post here :lolguy: Damn it was good. Cold and perfect and on a Friday night it went down great. I'm having one each night and savoring it until my six are gone.
