I have a common boa as well. Most exotic animals I've ever owned was a pair of Temple Vipers. Looked just like this http://www.kostich.com/temple%20viper.JPG God rid of them because I had kids.

I perfer bottled water for the simple fact that I know it's clean. I find floaties in nearly all the water I get in resturants. If it's because they don't change their filters or don't clean the glasses enough, it never looks clean. As far as taste, I think there was a study awhile back and most people can't tell the difference between bottled water or RO water, or plan tap water. Now Well water sucks ass for obvious reasons and so does Deja Blue(sp) Tastes like metal.

I'm actually more shocked at how many of the women really didn't give a shit. I think a lot of those were staged, some looked like they were into it lol. wtf!

Supra is finally ready for some track testing....

Congrats on the car getting all finished up. Looks Good! -
The Viper is actually going back to where I bought it out of Nebraska and I am having them fix the diff along with all of my little warranty issues as well. Since all the Dodge delaerships here have their heads so far up their asses they don't even know what kind of car I drive. And it's perfect having two race cars. You always have one as a back up.

best 60' times were 2.1's. I did everything I could to get traction but it just wasn't there for me. I basically was trying to bog the car off the line and let it power it's way through the 1/4 mile. However once I hit 2nd gear I lost all traction. A couple of the runs I lost traction once the car pulled to 4,000 rpms in 1st gear. I should have stoped racing as the wheel hop and lack of traction in 2nd gear ultimately led to the rear end going out. Despite the major traction problems I was having, I was pretty impressed with what the car did since last year. IPS fixed my belt slip issue and I was trapping 1 MPH more with me bogging it out of the hole AND getting zero traction in 2nd gear and with no power shifting. I'd love to see what the car can do with a set of sticky tires. I also pretty much knew going into that last pass that the car was going to break, however I figured I'd try it anyway lol. I was just happy it was able to be driven up onto the trailer!

Hybrids are nothing more then hype in 99% of the cases. Someone I know just traded in her 07 Escape for a 08 Escape Hybrid because it was going to save her so much in gas. Her payment went up like $300+/mo so she can save $25.00/mo in gas. No shit. She went from 18mpg to 22mpg and she only drives like 7500 miles a year. This was after I advised the family it was a bad idea to purchase the car soley for the goal of saving money. I told them well in advance the car would NEVER see the MPG claims on the window sticker. First time they drove it over, it was a big shocker it wasn't getting 30+mpg. Look at this Tahoe Hybrid at $55,000. If you want the car your going to pay sticker. Or you can buy the exact same truck that is not a Hybrid for Invoice. So the non hybrid is what $47,000 MSRP after getting the dealership down to invoice and take off the crazy rebates and incentives, you can pick it up for $40,000 flat. So $15,000 savings over the Hybrid. I think Motor Trend when looking at MSRP vs. MSRP said it would take 5-6 years of driving 15,000 miles a year to break even. I'd be interested to see how gas milage would be increased by simply doing all the weight savings and other changes to a regular tahoe except the batteries and electric motors. I bet you'd see a large gain with that alone.

Very nice pictures. Those pictures make me very happy to know I didn't waste almost 2 hours cleaning the car at 6:30am to make it to the event.

Alternative Fuels like E85 are part of the reason the economy is in such a bad situation right now. Starting to play a major role in inflation. Corn prices are starting to go sky high because of the demand, so farmers start planting more and more corn. Now the other crops are going up because so much corn is being produced. Our E85 demand is also causing problems in other parts of the world. Farms are taking over cattle pastures to grow sow beans and other items because of demand, and the cattle farmers are tearing down rain forests for the cattle. More rain forests are being torn down now then before. While I think Human made global warming is a joke, those that do believe it's our fault will be happy to know Carbon being released into the atmosphere is MUCH worse today because the rainforests store so much Carbon in them. Talk about making a bad situation worse. Plus on a Discover Channel show I watched a few years ago. It takes something crazy like 5-6 gallons of Gasoline to make 10 gallons of E85. Our Govt has it's hands so deep in the oil companies pockets, I don't see a real solution to the gas problem coming from them at all. Oh and I can't verify this as I haven't heard it directly, but I heard that when you go to the store you can't buy more then two bags of rice? Anybody verify?

Watched it last night and it's a great movie. Best I've seen in awhile!

Traction wasn't so good for me, but I managed a 11.44@129.8 with a 2.0 60'.

Some bikes show up, but most meet somewhere else.

I lost a lot of interest in the show. I use to watch it all the time, but every show was basically the exact same. Just replace the faces.

He has Wife listed, It's the biggest friend you can have. All others are secondary.

+1 on all that except the Bike and I'm 1 year older lol

I'm sure anybody that is not going to act like an idiot is welcome.

If there is a way for someone to screw up a good thing, they'll figure it out. Hell last year at Westbelt some dude pulled a tree out of the ground with his truck. /sigh Friends car happened to break down and we were there when the cops showed up. The cops were real cool, considering. However made it clear that it's reasons like that, which draw so much unwanted attention to everyone.

The Viper is Blue, Z is yellow And was that hail? That cell was super fast, much faster then Little01TA's car, but then again what isn't? ...... I knew it was raining really hard, and hard enough I asked my wife if it was hail, but before I could get up and go see the storm was over.

Just finished taking down the Christmas Lights off my house. :)
LPFSTheFett replied to SpaceGhost's topic in Dumpster
It's pretty bad when people leave thier lights on year round. I've went all out one time for christmas lights and it was the last time. Now we do a couple bushes and a few of the lighted up deer and call it a day. -
Driveability. I wouldn't say replacing a non driveable clutch with a driveable automatic ruins the car. In fact, I'd say it makes the car. A lot of people are unhappy after they modify their cars because driveability is poor. Our goal from the very begining was to make the cars drive like stock and to be as quite as possible. Hell if the Twin Turbo kit didn't come with an exhaust, I would have kept the stock exhaust. The problem with keeping the manual transmission is finding a clutch that can hold the power. Once you find that clutch, it will likely shake and make a lot of noise when not engaged, when you do engage it is likely to squeel, and will also be very on or off. Which in turn makes it very difficult to drive. Then these clutches have a tendancy to still go out quite regularly. I personally saw no benifit in keeping the manual transmission, not even cost wise as the conversion was only $500 more then upgrading the same components in a manual transmission. As for roll racing, I know autos get a bad wrap for this and rightfully so, but we are using a boost controller that can control boost by gear and a lock up converter which should make the cars pull extremely hard in 3rd. Why do it to a Z06? Why did you do a Corvette? Could have got a Pinto and run faster then your Corvette for 1/10th the price.
-
That's exactly the problem. The wrong people show up, with their radios turned all the way up, then you have cars doing burn outs and squeeling the tires in the parking lot. People leaving trash everywhere. Hell 2 weeks ago I probably could have got a contact buz from this group of people smoking weed. I've never seen it as bad is it was 2 fridays ago. If I owned QS&L I wouldn't tolerate any of this either.

Photo Leak: Chevrolet Camaro tricked out with GM Accessories
LPFSTheFett replied to SinisterSS's topic in Pics and Vids
I like the new camaro a lot, but do not like the wing on the back being a different color. I also don't like that it has a hood stripe AND side stripes. Either or, but not both. Ground effects are ok, though I wouldn't want them, I also think they should match the body of the car. Car looks kinda odd really. -
The only thing I'll say on it is that if I sold something and someone was unhappy with it in anyway, as long as it came back to me in the exact same condition, I'd take it back. I know Zane and feel confident he'll make right on this. He may have some shit he's going through right now.
