Trails may also give us shit about running faster then 11.5 w/o a cage. They didn't last year at the one rental I was at there, but...... Three weeks later at TNT, they booted me after one pass.

The US needs to just keep to itself for a little while, just like all the other countries of the world are now doing. Secure our borders to make it harder for people to get in and out of the country. Because, we will never be able to win a war that the Media is involved in so heavily. I don't care if Iran actually hit one of our boats, it would just be a very big mistake to do anything about it. The United States will never be able to fight a war the way it needs to because of the Media. I can go on and on about this, but for the safety of staying somewhat politically correct, I'll leave it at this.

In Ohio an employeer can do nearly anything they want. I can certainly see why some employeers would make an employee clock out for restroom breaks, if they were getting abused by the staff. Fact is 80% of the polices a company has are for 20% of the employees.

If norwalk gets to be to bad to deal with, I still say pick Trails. Even though it costs a bit more, everybody will save that and then some on Gas and Time. Just need to make sure they prep the track really well. Or Edgewater!! One of the fastest tracks in Ohio when I use to go there. Sits at just over 400' above sea level compared to 900-1100 for the other tracks. Jason

They need to add a different class of cars and lower the ET requirements for those cars to have a roll cage. If they really want to be sticklers, then allow people to get a license to drive the cars and lower the ET requirement by 1+ second. I'm sorry but the 11.5 roll cage requirement is crap when stock cars or near stock cars are doing it. Afterall, it's what the cars were built for.

When you say you put cars on my Z06 and that its faster then mine after losing two of three races, yes I consider that bad mouthing my car. And I'm glad your car is running faster becasue so is mine. Turns out I had a cracked valve spring that ended up blowing the motor up. CamaroAJ installed a new stock motor for me, and it's amazing how much faster a motor is with all it's parts working.

That bet is too broad... The ET is really meaningless. So, I've got $250 that says your car will not trap higher then mid 127's. Which should really be no problem considering you can put 4 cars on me from a 40 roll. And that's exactly what we're talking about. Or I'll get one of my cars wrapped up this spring and we can do a 40 roll for the $250. Run what you brung, your call.

That's cool, we'll line them up again. I very RARELY miss a gear in 6 speed cars as I've raced them for over 10 years now. It just so happens that the C6 Z06's have major clutch issues and need the clutch fluid changed quite often. It's so bad, many of the people change the fluid out after EVERY pass. What happens when you don't change the fluid, is that it doesn't allow your clutch to fully disengage. That particular day I had done qutie a few 1/4 mile passes at the track, quite a few roll races already and the fuild was hot, which is what lead to me missing a gear. My only beef is that you bitched an moaned about your traction control coming on and those not being fair races because of it. I agree to race you again and happen to miss a gear and go to line up with you again and you want nothing to do with racing me again. You got your win and that was that for you. Then you go and say you crushed me and all this shit. I'm sorry but your car puts down the same RWHP as mine and weights what 400lbs more? Your not going to put 4 cars on me, it's that simple. Take your ride to the track and see if you can get a 10 second pass on motor in your car as I have. Or even come close to touching the 127-128mph traps I've seen. Your car can't do it. As a matter of fact, bring it to the track day at Norwalk and I'll bet you $250, your car on Drag Radials (just like mine) doesn't run a 10 second pass or hit mid 127 traps on motor. Here's my car doing it. If mine can do it and your car can put 4 car lenghts on my car from 40-130 then you should easily be running mid 10's@130+ on motor.

I'll have to pass on the Olevia then. I certainly don't want to upgrade my TV again 2 years from now like I am now. I found the Sharp 65 for $6999 at Circuit City compared to $9999 at Best buy, looks like same TV too. I guess 7k isn't bad. Plus if memory serves me correctly, you can negotiate at Circuit City, where you can't at Best Buy.

Why not buy the sharp for 8k? Because if there is nothing wrong with the Olevia, then why spend the extra money. Plus I need a bunch of other things for the bacement we just got finished and I'm trying not to spend $20,000 doing it. Everybody has budgets. As far as having a 5' TV, We sit like 20' away from it, so want something that's bigger then the 50" we currently have.

Saw this at Sam's Club the last time I was there and it's only $4k. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about the TV, is it any good? Do Olevia's TV's have any problems? I have a 50" Dell Plasma now, but want something bigger for the living room, with out spending $8,000 for the Sharp 65". Thanks! Jason

Yeah, but who knows if they were just waiting for him to open the door so they could force their way into his house. We've all heard it plenty of times on the news. I would have done the same thing. 2 door bell rings late at night and then to bang on my door. I don't think so. There was nothing positive that could have come of that. Their car wasn't broke down, afterall if someone tells you to get lost, do you really think they have any interest in letting you make a phone call? No, you'll find someone else. If he had no idea who they were, then they only had bad intentions, especially if they didn't immediately tell him why they were there when they saw the gun. "Dude, we're sorry, we were looking for XXX, didn't mean to bother you". Good move

I've been racing long enough to know when someone is beat and he was beat. I could give two shits less if I lose a race and have never lied about it. Trust me when I say his car motor to motor can't and didn't beat my Z06. But hey, if he hangs around till this summer, we can just do another money race on it. He already lost $100 to Sam and Chris racing my car... Fett

All that Horsepower and that damn traction control............ Crazy how his car which weights 400lbs more then mine(maybe even more) and dyno's close to the same but "bus lengths" on my Z06.... NOT I'm glad he's taking his car down south. Raced the guy 4 times and beat him the first 3 times, but every time his traction control magically turned itself back on. Then the 4th race I miss a gear and obviously lose(lol still only by 2 cars) he claims he but bus lengths on me. And he flat out REFUSES to race again... What a joke.

97 Z28 Auto ran 14.3-14.4's stock 97 Formula stick ran 13.7-13.9's stock For me anyway. And I'd say that's a fair price. My Formulas window motor did the same thing and ended up going out on me after a few months. Just keep an eye on it. If I recall I got great milage out of my LT1's. I drove to St. Louis with AFR Heads, Big Cam, 4.10 gears and a bunch of other bolt ons and averaged like 24mpg! It was around town that wasn't great because I couldn't keep my foot off the throttle, but still got 15mpg.

A lot of you guys act like you never did stupid shit when you were younger. As far as people following you, let them and don't let it get to you. Eventually it will make you think twice about doing the same thing.

I saw the fight on Saturday. I don't think it was staged, he did a pretty hard body shot (that I think knocked the wind out of the guy) followed by a right. When the guy stood up he had a glove print on his face from that one hit. I think getting the wind knocked out of him is why he tapped. I'd like to see some more advanced fighters fight the guy. See what he can really do then. Another reason I don't think it was staged is because if they staged fights, it would have been the fight just before it. Elite XC had just signed a guy for a 6 fight deal and he got his ass handed to him. Jason
