Awesome to have more options for 11 second stock cars. However, when I look at this car, I don't think "That's a $70,000 car" At best, I'd pin it for a $40k car max. I mean who is this car going to appeal to? Meaning what Market is going to purchase this car? Really curious to see what happens with it.

Mark and I went to ship off some rims 2 years ago and inside the box we were shipping was a black widow spider. The box was in his garage for a couple years too. While I don't think they are very common at all, I think they are around. Most likely hitch hiker baby spiders that make there way here and grow up.

Yep, Valve spring broke that droped the valve into the head.

Those pictures are insane What's really crazy is the number of cars that have had this happen. Again, small percentage by comparison to other items, but big enough to find plenty of identical stories as mine.

415hp for 125k is a nope when your a drag racer. When you do anything other then drag racing, this is the car to have! They fly on the track. I've seen that rolling around in gahanna a couple times. Neat car. I perfer the classic colors though. Jason

I'm happy to say the only thing that's went through my car is Sunoco 94. I've done some research on the Corvette Forum's and it looks like this problem is some what common, not common like the roofs flying off, but common enough that people have had the exact same thing happen that happened to mine. Simple Valve spring failure causing the valve to drop and take out the engine. The few examples I've seen all happened within the first 4k miles of usage too, which mine is right at 2900.

No crash, just a broken part. Can't be too bad right? Wife was the one driving it. She was crusing through New Albany going 25mph when it broke.

I know buckeyestangs/goats has one on the 15th, but it's full up. Any other rentals happening that may have some openings? Only one month left in the season, would like to get to the track some more! Mark and I have considered renting out MCIR. It's $1000, but it's only 1 lane and only 10 cars can come. So would be $100 each if anybody is interested in that. If we do it, probably do it towards the end of October for the cooler weather and better times. Thanks! Jason

Went to the track tonight. First pass ran 11.40@127 and they booted me New they range from $70,000 - $80,000 depending on options. Can pick one up used for mid $60's. I don't think any have dipped into the 59,999 range yet. Jason

when I went to put my stock shifter back in. The bolts were right there. I fixed them and the tranny seems to be working just fine. Taking it to the track in a little bit, see how it goes.

I had a great time! Got to work on launches which was the most important thing of the day for me. Went from my best 60' ever of 1.89 to 1.705!! Pretty sizeable difference. I think next year we should have all the slick/drag radial cars automatically chip in an extra $10 for a respray. Or just do it like we did this time. I figure I owed it to chip in on the respray. Lord knows I used the track enough.

haha no doubt, I made over 30 passes. Hey that's less then $1 per pass! Not too shabby I had a couple bolts on the top of my tranny tunnel come loose and it wasn't allowing the car to go into 2nd gear, which is why all my last runs were screwed up. Craziest thing, but I'm gonna tighten them down tomorrow and take to trails Wednesday!

McDorman's is a joke for warranty work. I took my bone stock 05 C6 in with 1,000 miles on the clock because the rear end cracked like an egg. They tried to not cover it and tried to get the sales person who sold it to me to get me to say I was racing it. CamaroAJ, I'll send you a PM. The car will be in there tomorrow Thanks! Jason

Need to take the car in and don't want to get harrassed about the 3 mods I have done to the car. Previous experiences have proven you don't really need mods to get harrassed, but they do make it worse. Any recommendations?? Thanks! Jason
