  1. beat me to it. some chiro's are good, some are not. feel free to see one recommended here, and if it doesn't work you can always get referred to a back specialist. sometimes chiropracters can be a good 'filter' for back surgeons/specialists---those with bullshit problems get filtered out---those with bad problems who need surgery/injections get to the doctor because the chiropracter is not able to give them relief back pain is the absolute number one complaint to dr's. over 95% percent of back issues resolve within a couple weeks with some stretching and a short course of anti-inflammatories
  2. sucks, i would seriously consider getting it re-done (the acl). normally, i'd tell someone in their 30's that they don't have to have a working acl. if i tore mine tomorrow, i'd consider non-op treatment, as i no longer do 'cutting' activities (soccer, football, tennis, etc). most people can stabilize their knee through extensive strengthening of the quad muscle so that they can run and do most normal activities without an acl. if you're getting instability in the knee with normal walking, to the point where the knee buckles and you're tearing the meniscus, then it might be time to consider another acl reconstruction.
  3. we honestly looked into getting a chipotle franchise in my po-dunk shit-hole town. we were told you needed to open 5 restaurants and a minimum of $500k liquid cash.
  4. not sure i'd put an ls7 into anything i wanted to modify or abuse. ford has been doing this for quite some time with the mustang.
  5. its about a mile from the intersection of "fail" and "aids" kids reaction was priceless :lolguy:
  6. keep a family car (that you want to be completely reliable and safe) as stock as possible. trust me.
  7. my wife loves her escalade. 50k miles with not one issue--other than ramming a mcdonald's drive thru post
  8. the guy i trained with is air force--spent 6 months in afghan. when he came back to the states i met him in chicago and hung out. he is changed forever. much of the shit he saw/dealt with cannot be erased from his mind. definitely had a fair amout of ptsd. crazy shit. being completely honest, i can't guarantee i would want to remove the device if i was put in the same situation. just being honest.

    Depression

hopefully, he will come back. people don't realize that even with great success, you can still be depressed. my advice is for starters, seek counseling. counseling is the easiest, non-judgemental form of professional help available. they are not going to order expensive tests, or put you on medications--but a good counselor will recognize someone at risk and get them medical help if they need it. good luck
  10. i'll take a gt500 with a tune/throttle body/intake pipe, and make nearly 700rwhp. fuck hennessey.
  11. meh, kind of a dramatic bitch. many of the 'drugs' that he took are normal prescription medications that would literally have very little effect on someone. cephalexin is a very common antibiotic that will do absolutely nothing to your thought processes. 50mg zoloft will also do nothing to you the first time you take it, especially at that low dosage. same thing goes for valium, zyprexa, seroquel, and a few others---they will do nothing for you. unless he was snorting a large quantity of the lortab/percocet, they would also have very little effect. same thing goes for the ambien. still, a cool concept i guess.
  12. brb, going to get my tapout shirt, gold chains, and just for men hair coloring. saving up for a penis extension surgery.
  13. these threads are nothing short of entertaining. impressed someone can throw together a car that runs, (let alone runs as fast as these do) with spare parts laying around. props
  14. another person going for the win, in the 'great american lottery'
  15. mike, post up some pics of your cars, and some more information about yourself.
  16. looks like his shop is making some really cool weed brownies and sound systems on some really expensive mail order brides. so much for a welding shop.
  17. I'd suggest doing some simple research on how gm/ford have set up the cooling systems on their factory-blown cars before commenting further.
  18. just giving you a hard time. this car is tremendous. it literally turns more heads than my vette. if i could only have one car, this would be it. cadillac hit it out of the park with the car, and anyone who's driven one for an extended period of time will agree. 4200lbs or not, the car moves out like no other. 0-60 in under 4 seconds, and (in my hands), just as quick as my z-06 (when it was stock) to 80-90mph. with good tires, you can launch the shit out of the auto
  19. this is the best car i've owned--hands down. you can't compare a 2XX hp mark VIII to a 556hp positive displacement blower car, with MR adjustable shocks, killer looks, big brakes, big wheels, great seats, etc etc.
  20. let me know when you want a shot at my bone-stock cts-v with your perfectly balanced, light weight sports car. :lolguy: it needs nothing more than it came from the factory with.
  21. this guy, he gets it.
  22. welcome to the site. good looking stable of cars. any mods to the z06??
  23. +1 my cobra had a system that ran off the a/c to cool the IC fluid to 55 degrees. virtually no heat soak meant the car was pretty much set to 'rape-mode' constantly. i have no desire to road race a pony car, but this is a step in the right direction for gm
  24. you must be young. the older i get, the less drama i want. a huge cam and shot of the sauce should be plenty of drama, coupled to a maximum rear tire size of 255.
