  1. No kidding. Some fuckjamb on the camaro forum actually commented that hennessey has the premiere reputation in high end tuning. If only they knew
  2. Crybabies all over the camaro forum, as Hennessy just took one down the 1/4 and could only muster 12.5 @ 116. Lol. My caddy's faster.
  3. And how long will you be staying on mars? Two weeks Have you brought any fresh fruit with you? Two weeeeeeeeeeeks
  4. Damn. That's a lot of mods to fit in such a tiny car. Great intro, welcome to the site
  5. Unless you're in 7th grade now, it's probably too far gone
  6. 1) shouldn't have done the burnout--don't shit where you live 2) should have filed a police report the very first time this guy mentioned he has a gun and likes to hurt people 3) shouldn't drive though your neighborhood with the cutout open--ever. Even in the middle of the day. By the sounds of it, you live in a blue collar area. Plenty of people work 3rd shift and sleep during the day. No reason to prove to people how loud your car is. No one cares. 4) don't speed through th neighborhood. Go 25mph in 4th gear. As soon as you have kids you'll understand

Sounds like the blown 6 is the way to go. Why not a used isf?

Sounds like you're trading in a well-running dd, for a basket case. Who the fuck makes a car where it's required to pull the god damned valve covers to clean off carbon buildup every 10k miles?
  9. at one point they were $70k on up, depending on how you optioned it out--you could order a bigger blower, competition automatic, etc. without a VIN, its not street legal, and you probably wouldn't get a car loan to buy one. they all start as 'body in white' v6 cars that get built up from there
  10. Lol. Decided to take a look at the forum---like watching a car wreck or a murder in progress--you can't take your eyes off it. My wife caught me looking at the site. Yeah, how the hell do you explain to your wife looking at a forum filled with sickos who have invested $10k+ into a sex doll, and take them on vacations with 'set up' pool parties, etc?? Where's tilley when you need someone to give us an exact description/name for the personality disorders displayed on that forum?
  11. bullshit. last cop that fucked with me during a traffic stop was drinking out of a straw in a body cast for a month.
  12. any brazilian steakhouse typically has a fantastic salad bar. not sure if they still have a brazilian in columbus.

    Investing.

Be careful what you do with special education-based loans. Not sure what the specifics are with the gi bill. When my roommate in med school (he was on a full ride-lol) went to take out full stafford subsidized loans (over $100k at 2.2 percent), the school got wind of this and told him he could be charged with some sort of fraud if he tried to borrow govt money to invest, which is exactly what his plans were. At least half of this money was completely subsidized (the govt pays the interest for up to 8 years)
  14. Not at all. Can't explain why it wasn't too bad. I normally hate going to the dentist. My knuckles are white the whole time I'm in the chair. And trust me, I know from experience most men aged 18-40 are the absolute biggest cry babies when it comes to pain tolerance. Especially if they claim to "have a high pain tolerance"
  15. My dentist was old school. He let mine grow in completely, thinking I had enough room for them. But they pushed all my teeth so tight that I couldn't floss without breaking it on nearly every gap. When he took mine out, he simply numbed everything up, and pulled. No nitrous, just novocaine. I also had cavities on all 4 wisdom teeth and the adjacent molars (they were 'kissing' cavities). So I had those drilled as well. I was eating wings that night
  16. I have a fear of being trapped in a pipe and not being able to move or breathe. I can handle heights all day long. I also have this irrational dream that my front two teeth are twice as long as they should be and get stuck behind the lower ones and snap off. It's completely fucked up, but it wakes me up every time in sheer panic. So I have a fear of metal or glass near my mouth if I'm in a crowd--afraid I'll get bumped and break my teeth
  17. Get off this forum and onto a fertility forum online. My wife and I had terrible luck/heartbreak/difficulty getting a successful pregnancy. Even involved two emergency surgeries. We got tons (and I mean tons) of helpful advice on how to get pregnant--seems like it always happens when you're not ready, and never happens whe you want it to. On your end, there's tons you can do to improve your odds. Stay away from hot tubs, bike seats, briefs. Tons of foods you can eat to Improve your odds as well. Get online if you haven't already. If you know all this already, at least your wife can get some extra support--especially from women in the same boat
  18. Probably worth it if you like to buy used parts--this way, what you see is what you get. No craigslist crazies, no surprises when the item doesn't match the description, etc. I got a mint rear hatch for my fox there a while back, for $100. Even the paint matched. Also bought a tubular GT40 intake, back when they were cool.
  19. Probably correct with this assessment. Everyone assumed he would be spectacular this year. Add to that the injuries, and I just don't see him being a huge draft prospect. What do the scouts see in him? There's no way he can play the power game that he does now, in the nba. I still think he's playing the wrong sport. Should have been a tight end if you ask me. 50 percent of his weight is between his knees and waist--definitely not the anatomy of a basketball player
  20. That's a tough thing to go through. I wish your family the best.
  21. why not check out a forum specifically for TBSS's, listen to the advice of the members there, and listen to various examples? most good forums for a specific vehicle have an 'exhaust sound board' to listen to various kits. can be a bit difficult to get the real 'feel' for the exhaust through a computer speaker, but you can at least find out which kits are loud, quiet, raspy, and hopefully avoid dreaded highway drone. or you can just drill some huge holes in the muffler

    Comebackkid (Roy)

+1 personally, i don't really care too much--unless someone tries to insult my intelligence with insane stupidity (the lies about some other dude scamming him, using his information to scam others on car parts--for the exact same type of car that he owned every time--lol) my 4 year olds tell better lies
  23. am i missing something--did walgreens murder this kid??
  24. long, but worth it. when i lived in florida, one of my mentors had a 911s vert. he constantly went on and on about how awesome the car was, and how he's leased one for the past 20 years. he would literally correct anyone who didn't pronounce it "porsche-uh". onetime after office i let him see the taillights of my cobra on the freeway--it wasn't even remotely close. guy was kind of a douche. once his lease ended later that year, he went with the turbo/overboost 911. never got a chance to run him again, but he was definitely a douche-canoe. this guy was such a prick, he'd work us like bitches, make hundreds of thousands of dollars off people in the last year of training (like me), and not even have the decency to buy us lunch. i grinned ear-to-ear for months knowing how slow his porsche-uh was.
