  1. i pay $3XX per month for all my cars, home-owners, umbrella. my vette is cheaper to insure than both cadillacs. my disability and life insurance dwarf the amount i pay for autos---its out of control
  2. just ordered the cock pump, a 42" toshiba flatscreen, chainsaw, and a garden hose---free shipping, and they even threw in an oil change for our car---sweet!!

  4. Make him contact an admin, and beg to be let back on. Otherwise fuck him
  5. My experience has been the exact opposite. I have two sets of complete husky liners for my explorer and escalade. The fitment is perfect and they've held up to some serious abuse. My explorer ones look brand new and they're 7 years old. I like the weathertech ones too, but they are just a bit thinner
  6. this was an interesting thread i came across when looking for mats for my cts-v. read down to response #13. pretty good customer service from weathertech if you ask me. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/2009-cadillac-cts-v-general-discussion/210463-weathertech-mats-received-today-terrible-fitment.html
  7. my 5.0 is currently 'on the rack' getting some upgrades.
  8. i can remember buying my cobra and thinking how awesome it was compared to my '87 fox body---build quality, interior, and ride quality, driveability. then i bought my z-06 and driving the cobra felt like operating a tractor. then i got the cts-v, and realized just how good a car can handle, perform, and have all the amenities. each step in the 3 rung ladder i've laid out for you is an order of magnitude improvement. i suggest you hop in a luxury $60-80k car and see what it feels like. sure, your car will be faster, and all for the little money you have invested---congratulations. a $1000/month car payment means different things to different people. carry on.
  9. if they offered that car in the us with the twin clutch auto, i'd probably end up getting it. 0-60 in 3.6seconds, and bottom 12's bone stock. with a tune alone, you'd probably be sitting at under 3 seconds to 60, and mid/upper 11's, with any moron (including me) driving. dig to 60 in the starbuck's parking lot anyone?
  10. lulz. i used to live in 'colt's territory'.
  11. i have weathertech ones in my cts-v since it sees some fall/rain duty---they are pretty nice. they do seem just a bit thin and have not held to their form as well as the husky liners i have husky liners in my exploder for 7 years, and our escalade for nearly 3 years. the husky liners ARE thicker, and i like them just a bit better. either one should be fine, this is just my preference
  12. piercings of any kind on a guy :dumb:
  13. i made 451rwhp, and 476tq with the same pulley. i didn't have the offroad pipe, but i had a catback and intake. i'm guessing the car is likely sitting in that range for power. once i ported the blower i was right around 490rwhp. clean car.
  14. pro's---he's 6'4", 270lbs, so he'll be able to defend himself against fellow firefighters who might tease him about his car.
  15. our governor (wisconsin) has made leaps and bounds in taking care of the crazy amount of taxes that go towards these fat pensions---look what has happened to him, he's being re-called.
  16. we go to sarasota about 3-4 times a year (once with the family, and the others for mancations). +1 for new pass grill bait shop. we stop there for bait every time we go fishing and either get breakfast sandwiches or burgers. two other fantastic restaurants there are walt's (seafood restaurant)---insanely good, fresh caught fish/seafood pac rim (sushi) sarasota brewing company has great wings and homemade beer captain kurt's is right down the street from the daquiri deck, and has great food for a quick lunch. hit up big olaf's for icecream. check out siesta key beach, its one of the best beaches in the world. we'll be in sarasota the first week of april
  17. when you say "cement truck driver", that guy is exactly what i picture. that building is absolutely enormous
  18. seems like a fair number of toolbags in that thread responding

  21. you own an import................................... that looks like shit there's a difference
  22. Buzz on here has a fair amount of mods on his, mine has a catback only---im contemplating a pulley, but love the car stock, so why? The auto is great. My gto was manual, and I daily'd it. Fun, but I wanted auto so my wife could drive it comfortably if I want to have a few when we go out
  23. I was down for the wagon, just for the lol factor. My wife didn't see the lol in a station wagon. I've been very happy with the car. The kids love it. Ill link the vid later if anyone wants to see my 4 year old telling me to do a burnout. The automatic in these cars is pretty good
