  1. buddy in grad school had a 60's deville convertible. was far from perfect, but he did some body work on it, painted it himself (surprisingly, it looked great), car had a big-block, and was pure win. his total investment was only a couple grand
  2. cobra---8/650 gt stang-8/320 gto-----8/430 vette---8/520 exploder-8/235 caddy---8/400 total---48 cylinders 2550 hp
  3. Good turn-around. Welcome to the site
  4. wow. every ricer showed up to the same meet. love how he got busted taking a pic of the guy's fat girlfriend
  5. great introduction, welcome to the site. car looks clean.
  6. then post a picture of a car off google-images that looks like your car. nevermind, says your into old toyotas. you don't even mention what type of car you drive. pretend you're interviewing for a job---say mcdonalds. the people interviewing you have just asked you why you think you'd be a good fit to work here and you just answered "because i like happy meal toys". you're going to have to give us some more info about yourself or your car(s). no one cares to see a picture of your life partner, so i think you're safe in that regard.
  7. this. anyone who has kids, or a family/wife to support can relate.
  8. very nice. wish i could get one of these things started where i live
  9. you may not even notice it. it happens every once in a while in my GTO and i just go with it. corvetteforum.com is your new best friend
  10. this. and i don't even live in columbus anymore.
  11. i can afford all 3 and would opt for a second z-06 before the other two ---maybe i'd buy the shelby so my kids could sit in the back, or just buy a cts-v--stay tuned.
  12. don't think i've ever had it skip shift on my z-06. does it all the time in my GTO. my z is an '09 as well. i'll have to see if it does it, but i almost never shift to second under 25-30mph
  13. Depends obviously, on how much you want to pay. I had a buddy in grad school who was a waiter at j alexanders on rt 23. Their steaks are better than outback/Texas roadhouse type restaurants but not quite top-end, like a mortons. I went to just about every major steakhouse multiple time when I lived in Columbus. If you're looking for a restaurant to go out for a routine dinner, you can't go wrong with outback or Texas roadhouse. If you're looking for something a little nicer, you can't go wrong with mitchells downtown, or Hyde park on the cap. J alexanders is also one of my favorites. I think morons is worth it once a year, but some would argue that it's too pricey. Overall, my vote goes to dowtown mitchells. The food was great every time, and I loved the restaurant itself-was an old bank, so the inside layout is pretty cool
  14. look around the 'for sale' section linked below for an idea what these trucks are going for http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/lightnings-buy-sell-245/ probably one of the easier ways to sell the truck as well, would be to post it there
  15. wisconsin here bitches http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/2098/dsc01290n.jpg closeup for emphasis http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/2883/dsc01289h.jpg
  16. 'i'll stab you with a ski pole in your peep hole'
  17. sorry, the stripper comes with the package, and is thus, mandatory.
  18. i live 30 minutes in either direction from wisconsin international raceway WIR--1/4 mile dragstrip (north of me), and road america (south of me). i'll even pay for his hotel room and one male stripper for him.
  19. i'll race him around the twisties in my american-made vette. then we can go from a dead stop. then we can go from a 40 roll. then we can do slaloms. we'll see who's car can stop from 100mph in the shortest distance. then we can see which car drops panties, and which car picks up limp-wristed wanna-be's. sure, he'll argue about how much a vette costs, and then challenge me to race his make-believe GTR. then again, he can always just fuck off and drink some bleach
