  1. I usually just try and find an Amsoil hookup. Otherwise the part stores are not bad. Almost any new fluid is going to be better than any old fluid with proper intervals
  2. I get it if they also have the door handles right up next to each other or something, so you KNOW what they are..... but if it looks like the concept, or modern pics we have seen....that the door looks like any other sedan door, WTF is the point? I have suicide doors on the FJ. I can assure you you dont want them unless you have to....and its totally pointless to have them on something that doesnt need them. Plus how are they going to work...make them work like mine, or the F150? Can only use them with the front doors open? Not on a premium luxury sedan.
  3. Nope. Fire stick app is an entire fucking pay wall. Can’t watch any of the “free” stuff on there.
  4. Yikes Alex. Sounds like one of Jimmy Kimmels fucking tirades. I certainly believe the car should have "saw" her. Something seems wrong there, but like others said, not a good place to cross no matter.
  5. Yeah. It was just super convenient with Youtube, which I was forced to figure out once Firestick booted them. Thats all I have...a Firestick and a iPhone. However, it looks as though MT is supported on Firestick so I should just try that. I wasnt thinking. :dumb:
  6. So I went to the (free) app last night to try and watch Roadkill. Not as good as Youtube. I did not get any adds at all, but the quality was poor. It also makes me leave my phone on the whole time to be able to airplay it to my TV. The YT app works in the background so that is one super annoying aspect of the MT app.
  7. If they are moving, I guess I am going to have to try it. If I can hit the little 'Mirror' icon and poof, its on my TV just like YT then I will be happy.
  8. maybe keep it in here: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128360
  9. I had Virginia winning it all. OUCH!
  10. Yeah I think you made the right choice!
  11. That helps. My half-worn 295/75/16s are exactly 32" now. In your pics they look a little small but obviously are not. Supposedly the Discoverer ST version is smaller....Ive seen them measure out less than 32. 7" rim probably helps
  12. Looks good. If you are ever standing around with a tape measure I'd love a real world dimension of the tire height mounted Are the bumpers body-mounted? Can you successfully raise the body and the bumpers while moving the frame within? I know sometimes there is just some styrofoam you can remove or the like. I have a little 1/2" BL which doesnt require longer bolts or anything, but I feel like that was all I could get with the bumpers attached.
  13. Its also very likely the part store press wont do shit. If you have access to a 20 ton (or whatever) stationary press then its probably cake.
  14. They could have done without the clickbait Mustang in the article, but yes... that is an impressive Kia.
  15. Nice. When you put in the body lift ratchet strap the rear axle to the crossmember so the suspension doesn’t have to droop all the way before you can jack the body up. Helps.
  16. Those 33s are really gonna stuff in there lol. Also ditch the boards. be better than having them damage your rockers.
  17. Seems to fit the uniqueness you were after. Don’t see many of those around personally.
  18. You did say "could be" which it totally true, but an engineered septic system can easily run $15-20K. Water tap is 5K+, propane also comes with a pretty nice price tag. I think material costs play huge roles. I actually work for a homebuilder, and while my numbers above are retail, I cannot even afford to build and I get the house for cost lol. In theory I could likely go build a house with a Westport or something for much less than my 'at-cost' price... Just due to said material / standards / quality differences.
  19. I was looking to build a new house in a subdivision. Lot cost was $62K. The 21-2200SF house came in at nearly $330K. I think the "base price" was $240K just going off price/SF. If you can keep it under $250 without pouring concrete yourself let me know. Like Joe said above, the utility taps and site work are ridiculous....even moreso if you are 'out there'. All those costs plus having to fund the construction loan just made anything like that not feasible at this time in my case. 10-15K to repair a basement wall, might just be petty if the rest of it is totally worth it.
  20. now I kind of want some of those damned 255s after looking at pics
  21. I do usually think the 255 + spacer combo looks really good on those. I think this is a better 285 pic. 3" lift + spacers + coopers - gaudy all brush guard http://www.toyota-4runner.org/attachments/3rd-gen-t4rs/32230d1282916448-285-75-16-stock-wheels-img00548-20100711-1737%5B1%5D.jpg
  22. Cool. Spacers usually make it worse to an extent. They can really make the arc of the wheel bigger and stuff more rubber into the wheel wells as they turn. But since you got them I’m sure you could experiment both ways. PS. A wheeling trip is in the works for April. Rush KY. It’s a lot of fun. I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
  23. Do 285s fit a 3rd gen that easily? It seems the pizza cutters might even fit stock, but people murmur about 285s lightly grazing UCAs and the rear-ward wheel well area.
