  1. Das what I mean mang. Leather is an option. GTI, do it.
  2. Literally everyone else is complimentary of VAG interiors, especially the GTI. The plaid is not the only option, if that's the bitch. If I were a mostly satisfied RX-8 guy looking for a replacement steed, I'd probably go Miata as new as you can afford.
  3. Also no pics (I'll get one next time) but there has been a Ferrari FF parking the Garage off of Russell in the Short North. Just parked among the normies. Pretty cool.
  4. I had a relative sell a house and basically report "nope never had water in the basement" on the disclosure, when they had in fact had it flood several times. Within a year or two of selling it, the basement flooded for the new owner. After some time in court, said relative did end up paying for the cleanup and the bulk of the repairs. So it does happen, but reading here this case likely falls under the "patent" defect category.
  5. Lol at choosing to use the term "his" blue wave. And also lol at the overuse of "let that sink in" in political conversation for the last 4 years.
  6. Impressive as always Tim. Also, not sure if the list is long already, but I would be very interested if this does get resold.
  7. Not new, but saw this deal today: 2018 Silverado 1500 LT double cab, 32k miles with 5.3/6spd auto - $27,900 https://www.jetautogroup.com/used/Chevrolet/2018-Chevrolet-Silverado+1500-3c32baec0a0e0ae82753831c86804cbe.htm
  8. I've enjoyed truck/tractor pulls and demo derbies at the Fairfield County Fair in Lancaster a handful of times in my life, growing up in Pickerington. In the fall as others have said. Hartford Fair will forever be the king with the rough truck competition for me though. Great time always, but always busy too. Hit up both, and report back
  9. As far as CVTs go, hondas appears to be one of the best. Wife's CR-V has it, so we'll see.
  10. It's really a shame.... The new ford heavy duty trucks are about the only body style I'm liking right now. The current ram bodystyle hasn't been applied to the HD line yet, but I honestly wouldn't buy one of those either. They look new or whatever, but like the proportions... man. IMO - 2017ish GM trucks - better looking than current - 2015ish Ford 1/2 tons - better looking than current - 2009 - 2017 Ram trucks - better looking than current Just give me evolutionary change to each one rather than brand new wacky shit. Somebody has decided that buyers want tall grills above all else.... dumb. Add 5-10% more power or mileage, up the rust protection and I'm a buyer for about any of them. Until then, I'll keep my rusty paid off 2007.
  11. Red Beard, you spelled dually wrong in your sig and it physically hurts me to read it. 1. correct it OR 2. make the rest of your signature equally awful, so as to return balance to the force
  12. Mine are getting weak on my truck, and I've got a replacement set from these guys in the garage... https://www.custombatterycables.com/2007-2009-dodge-ram-2500-3500-6-7l/ Not sure what truck you've got but they sell individual upgrade cables or complete sets. Look to be great quality.
  13. I have a sheet of melamine on mine. When it gets torn up I replace it. Sacrificial layer.
  14. This is only slightly helpful (maybe not at all), but I worked with an electrician who had an '04 with the 4.3L that did the same shit. Ran great, but would regularly take 10-20 seconds to crank before firing, and other times wouldn't start at all. As an electrician he did all the electrical diagnosis but never did find the issue, at least not in in the several months I was working with him...
  15. You have an ad up anywhere with pics?
  16. My dad is almoat done with a 30x30ish barn with Eversole Builders out of Lancaster, So far he's very happy with him and his guys. Very professional and solid crew. My grandpa also praised him for his work around Licking county.
  17. Late to the party, but thanks again Tim! The car looks awesome, wife loves it, and even her friends who don't give a damn about cars noticed how great it turned out. She drove it home in a downpour tonight and it still very much looks freshly detailed.
  18. A quick google of pickerington church wheelchairs netted me this: http://peaceumc.org/serving-others/in-the-community/helping-hands-medical-equipment-ministry/ Good luck brother, sounds like that shit sucks.
  19. There is a church in Pickerington somewhere that has tons of medical/handicapped stuff like this, free. Sorry I'm no more help than that. I don't go to church.

    Finally.

Looks good! Guy down the road has a near identical one in orange, also 6 speed. His has the "TOYOTA" grill on it though, which I like. These or 4Runners are about the only Toyota products I would consider.
  21. Somebody else can confirm, but I believe this is the Mike in question: http://www.dragzine.com/features/car-features/driver-mod-activated-mike-niehaus-9-second-four-eye-fox/ ^^ That article's a year old, so things may have been massaged since then. Either way congrats! Handshaker mafia ftw
