  1. I haven't gotten on here or posted much in a while like most people because of life. I just took 5 minutes and read this. I've never met him and haven't read very many of his long winded post so I don't really have an opinion of him so I don't mean any offense by posting this. If no one likes this geeto guy why is his opinion taking over the topic of this discussion. If everyone including mods are wanting him banned why is everyone going back and forth with him about how to make CR better for him. Just because he has more words in his post doesn't make him right.
  2. I put one of these in my truck. It's a bluetooth receiver that plugs into a 3.5mm jack. It works as good as my wifes new cars bluetooth, and sounds as good as cd. I think I found it for $30 on amazon. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/rfbtrca
  3. Put some concrete bollards along the curb. I've been thinking about doing this, because there is a school across the street from my house and all the trashy parents that pick up their kids do the same shit.
  4. No thanks. I'm trying to get rid of stuff. I have some West Coast Cylider Heads stage 2 317 heads that need some work that would fit that short block I could get rid of cheap.
  5. ^^ thanks. I just post in that thread. I could bring it to Columbus if anyone needs it brought up there.
  6. I have a 50k mile 4.8 for sale if you're interested. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120968
  7. I pulled this out of my new project to put the 6.0L in its place. It has 50355 miles on it, and is completely stock. The truck had receipts for oil changes and tire rotations in the glove box, so it was well taken care of. I drove the truck with this engine for about 1k miles before I swapped engines with no trouble codes or leaks. $500 OBO.
  8. I don't usually tell most people from Zanesville about CR, but I figured you'd get in past the oven. Cars and coffee is a good time, even though I have been too busy to make it up this year at all. If you ever want to go some time, I've been planning on trying to make it up some time before winter.
  9. It will work in your truck.
  10. A 6.0L is our second option, we were just seeing what is out there first. Chad, I sent you a PM.
  11. One of my buddies needs a good engine and tranny for an 01 Trans Am. It would be nice to have all accessories, but not totally necessary. The lower the mile the better. If you have an engine or tranny separate he would be interested in that too, but he needs both.
  12. Sorry. It's already been taken in for scrap.
  13. Let me check to see if my old one is still at my buddies shop, and not the scrapyard. I'll let you know after work. Is 3.73 ok?
  14. They make around 220whp/230wtq stock, but are way detuned. With a tune you can get in the 300whp range.
  15. 1500 or 2500? Do you still have the PCM
  16. Yep, when she wants something she goes and gets it just like me. I guess I should have posted this yesterday when she said she might want to look at them. Women.
  17. I think she found what she wanted at Byers Subaru in Dublin. She loves the legacy. She's going to be getting her forth one now.
  18. Like the title says. The wife wants a new car and figured I would give someone here the business.
  19. The passenger fender has a small scrape, and it needs shocks. It has zero rust anywhere, and the interior is pretty much spotless. My engine is together and at the shop on an engine stand. The tranny/torque converter are sitting there too. I just spent a bunch on -10 and -8 fuel system fittings. I need a turbo and I'm sure twice as much as I think I need, but it should move along pretty quick. I think this weekend I'm swapping the 14 bolt and all of the brakes and hydro boost. If it goes as smooth as last time I'll probably try to get the stereo moved over too. I stole this picture from the web of how I want it to set when it's lowered http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s316/brent1976_photos/Mobile%20Uploads/CE0B180D-84F7-49A3-9792-CDE9647FC1B7_zpsxvioocz1.jpg
  20. After having my Colorado for about a year, I decided a small truck isn't for me. I did a few things to it to make it more what I wanted, but it wasn't enough.I have bought lots of parts, and was going to go pretty extreme, but everything I bought besides a wiring harness, will go into the new truck. All the parts that are on my old gray truck I will be swapping to the new one, so it will be cheap and easy. I have already took off the chrome trims, Z71 stickers, fiberglass steps, bug shield, and de-badged it. It needs tint, and lowered bad, but I will wait until I swap the rearends out to do that. 01 GMC Sierra SLE 4wd w/ 53k miles http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s316/brent1976_photos/Mobile%20Uploads/F226CD15-23D9-4F69-8CAB-A410D0E672C1_zps336pv1qw.jpg
  21. did you mean the Colorado or the Silverado? My new on is a Sierra.
  22. It took a couple hours worth of measuring to get them like that , but yes they do fit like they were mad like that. Pretty much everything is sitting in the bed of my gray truck waiting to go into the new one so it shouldn't take long. I can start going to c&c when it starts up in the spring.
  23. It's another 1/2 ton regular cab short bed 4wd. I never turned up the wick on the old one, but I will this time around.
