  1. Both were 1500 Z71's. One was an '03 and the other an '05. Double checked with them here at work tonight.
  2. Not sure excatly what goes wrong internally, but two of my friends have similar year trucks that had the same thing happen that you describe. One actually had a hole in the side of the case. Both had to have the T-case replaced.
  3. DeepWood, Elevator, Columbus Brewing Co., Mitchell's, Marcella's, The Top (Bexley). Milestone 229 is supposed to be good as well, but I haven't personally been there yet. Also, Due Amici is weak/overpriced in my opinoin (I've had better food at The Olive Garden).
  4. We went boating 2 weeks ago and there were people in the swim areas in the middle of the lake and tubing, etc. I didn't notice the water looking any more funky than normal.
  5. I'd look into this if the fuel pump ends up not being the culprit. I have fixed several of these. They sell a repair kit at the dealer, and the last time I bought one it was around $100. Fuel pumps are really common though, and as others said, don't cheap out when buying one.
  6. I know this is a few days old, but I just did this last week to my deck. I used power washer only to clean and it did a great job of brightening up the wood. I used Cabot semi-transparent Cordovan Brown and was very happy with the results. I used a 9" roller and backbrushed where needed. Next time I'll use a 4 inch roller as others have said. It took me 2 days to stain it, but my deck is huge. I ended up using 8 gallons total (a 5 gallon bucket and 3 individual).
  7. Harness looks good, I like the mesh wrap. Raychem would be total overkill for your car, although I have seen it withstand multiple 850C blasts of hot air from a jet engine.
  8. I know this is old, but I am needing about 20 yards of gravel. Vince, who did you use? I live about 1/2 mile from you (saw the Bimmer as I was driving by one day) and that seems like a really good price. If anyone else has suggestions, please chime in. I'm out past Pataskala.
  9. It shouldn't smell like fuel. Was the vac. line wet with fuel? If it was, then the diaphragm in the reg. is shot like Craig said.
  10. That blows....sorry to hear bro. Did it have much run time before this happened?

So you don't start rumors, you just propagate them?

I was thinking the same thing...
  14. I've heard of disconnecting the positive and grounding it, but not this. What would grounding a cable whose other end is already grounded do?
  15. Best bet is to have it evacuated and then recharged. It's the simplest way to ensure that it has the correct amount of refrigerant.
  16. Are these still available? Are they aluminum finish or the chrome clad ones?
  17. This. A 15 passenger van was rented for my bachelor party and it worked out great.
  18. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Not cheap, but hands down the best all season tire I've ever had. They're great in wet weather and ice/snow. I've put almost 15,000 on them so far and have zero complaints.
  19. Is that The Hamburglar on your plate?
  20. My parents 07 Envoy needs the fuel sending unit replaced due to erratic gauge readings and a check engine light. I already have a new Delco sender. I am assuming this is a pretty straightforward job, but thought I'd ask if there's anything I can expect out of the ordinary. Thanks in advance.
  21. Thank you for your presence in this thread. If you're as annoying as I think you are, then you'll continue to put a full page of blank space in every one of your posts. To the OP, I was interested in a vehicle they had a few years back, but they wouldn't budge on the price so I didn't buy from them. They were going to give me more than I was expecting for my trade, though.
  22. Anything from Carfagna's = Win.
