  1. Sounds good to me. Atomic wings might be just the ticket to get over this cold-from-hell that's been kicking my butt.
  2. I'll have to talk to you about my café bike. I was going to make a for sale thread on CR once the weather improved, but if you feel that the prices would be better now than mid-April, I'll get in touch. Do you feel that your dealership would have good demand for something like this: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101890&highlight=cafe ? Nothing wrong with it, just don't see me riding it much now that I have the Slingshot.

You've received some good advice in this thread. Caveat emptor
  4. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/casablanca_zps25vmdsze.jpg I'm shocked, shocked!
  5. So, Clay, since the Dyson Animal was the overwhelming pick of the group, did you purchase one? :gabe:
  6. Pickups Plus Cars in Lewis Center does my audio work. Justin, Kyle and the other staff at the counter will hook you up. Let them know that you're a member of Columbus Racing. Although it's two years old, this thread has some other suggestions: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111527&highlight=columbus+audio
  7. Great deal for someone with building skills. On the one hand, it was listed in November 2007 for $450,000. (didn't sell) On the other hand: "Home needs significant repairs" There's a reason the listing has only one photograph.
  8. Pickups Plus Cars in Lewis Center. Tell Kyle (or any of the guys at the counter) that you're with Columbus Racing. They'll take care of your MIL. BTW, Congrats, Ben.
  9. It seems that for awhile, every manufacturer wanted to have their own unique procedure for reprogramming these sensors. I would think yours would be straightforward since you can just move the sensor from your broken wheel to your replacement one. However, if you run into problems, I'm sure the fellows at Wheel Medic will fix you up. They have the only reprogramming tool that would work for what I wanted to do with my FRS and multiple wheel sets with a mix of Toyota and non-Toyota sensors. It will also be your chance to say farewell to Eman ...... he leaves for Oklahoma next week.
  10. I'm not sure if Mike still does this, but he knows a lot about it. He's in town for awhile. I'm sure if you PM him, he'll gladly discuss what he knows. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88687&highlight=coyote
  11. I'm happy to do it. I counted 16 CR members who made the trek. The Slingshot seemed to enjoy all the attention. You know the conversation's good when the TV/Xbox never gets powered-up.
  12. Brabus already broke my heart once .... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77229&highlight=brabus no need to keep rubbing it in
  13. It sure doesn't seem as though it's already that time of year, but Sunday March 8th @ 2:00 a.m. Set clocks forward to 3:00 a.m. Combined with next week's temps climbing into the 50's and the lengthening days (vernal equinox is just two weeks away) this should bring on the spring feeling. I'm ready. :megusta:
  14. Congratulations, Brian. It's the GM dealership I've been using. I've been impressed on my visits there. I like the small town feel of the way they do business. I suppose a lot of your experience will depend on how well you get along with the service writer and management. I'm sure you'll do great.
  15. The sweetest honey is loathsome in its own deliciousness and in the taste confounds the appetite. Therefore, love moderately: long love doth so. Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow. --Shakespeare
  16. It doesn't help you for Monday, but by Tuesday there's rain expected, which I would think will take care of the drive. Just wanted to mention it in case you hadn't heard (or believed) the weather forecast.
  17. Tell me about it. Hard to believe that this coming weekend Daylight Savings Time kicks in.
  18. Great prices on some flashy watches. If I weren't overloaded already with watches, I'd buy the lot of them. GLWS
  19. Welcome, Jeff. Good intro. + rep
  20. That's great of you and your company to support this worthy organization, Marc. Good luck in your efforts.
  21. I admit, it's a little tough letting it sit in the garage, but the waiting will just make that first nice spring day ever more glorious!
  22. MSRP on mine was 20k. The SL version comes with additional equipment I did not want and that pushes the SL model up to 25k. Iron Pony added no premium (some dealers did) and had very reasonable documentation fees. Yes, street legal as a motorcycle in most states.
  23. It's a natural extension of the Covert Tuning principle: the fewer drive wheels you have, the faster you go. BTW, I've already beaten all of you guys at the track (hypothetically). Now I'm just waiting on the hexagonal exhaust tip.
  24. front: 205/50 R17 rear: 265/35 R18 The Slingshot Forum has many threads about the choice of these tires. Most agree that they are going to go with something stickier when they replace them. Some owners hypothesize that it was a durability decision. Others go back to the idea that the drive belt would be put under greater stress with stickier tires. Some owners have already switched wheels and tires. Mine will prolly stay stock for this year.
  25. You make a good point. It will be interesting to see what comes of these Slingshots with power adders. I'm content to let them sail ahead of me and find out where the shoals are.
