  1. shovel and an ax work for me.
  2. No, that was the only day I went to the track. After all I spent on the car over that winter getting it ready I didn't have any money to go racing. Man that sucked. This year I hope will be different. Starting with my fuel costs are already paid for. I'll just be making test passes this time, probably just keep it to 1/8 mile hits. I am planning on launching the car hard this time though.
  3. Picked up a drum of fuel! Should last me at least a season.
  4. Depending on how fast you run of course. But mainly looking for shit not falling off, leaking, working seat belts, helmet, etc... Not sure about a trunk mounted battery without a disconnect. That one might be a problem.
  5. No, not upset at the CR admin at all. Sucks that Trails won't give us a Saturday or Sunday. While I can do a personal day (and I am), I'm giving up a bonus for perfect attendance. So the track day is costing way more than just my entry fee.
  6. I'll probably add HULU to Netflix and Amazon once I cut the cord. I'm not so much a sports person (unless engines are involved) but she is. I'll regret any solution that doesn't let her watch her Bengals. I also assume that HULU doesn't carry everything (awards shows, etc...) that we/she likes to watch. To be honest, i could probably get by without the DVR myself (most everything I'm interested in I can stream).
  7. Damn that is tempting. I was looking in to that and really considering it ... then I remembered I'll have to teach my wife to use it. If I was single I'd probably go that route. I think I'll probably end up with a more complete pre-packaged solution.
  8. Cool, I'll check out the antenna info, thanks! I was just going to grab an antenna off Amazon, but I'm always open to a better product and better experience. I am a nerd and an IT instructor, so my threshold of technology is high. I was just reading a C/NET article about the Nuvyyo Tablo. Sounds like interesting tech. Only additional cost beyond the hardward is $5/month for guide information. http://www.cnet.com/products/nuvyyo-tablo/
  9. I'm getting closer and closer. I started looking at the high def antennas, looks like there are some nice ones out there for not much money. One question I have for those that have cut the cord is about DVRs. I've gotten to love just recording shows and watching them later. I would have a hard time giving this up. Who is using a DVR with an HD antenna? What are you using? Why did you pick the one you have? Would you buy that one again, or a different one? I have several TVs in the house. It would be nice to network them and be able to watch recorded shows on other TVs. Just looking for ideas and input.
  10. I have 2 fuel rails both leaking from below the schrader valve. I believe the welds on both cracked and leaking a mist of fuel. Anyone have a set of stock LT1 fuel rails laying around they would part with?
  11. This thread is getting me closer and closer to cutting the cord. The wife even says she won't watch much TV over the summer anyhow. I am the TV hound, but I can watch most of what I want streaming on the internet. Back to the OP, we have had DirecTV for years now as the only option other than Dish. Just recently we got AT&T DSL if that gives you an idea of where we are. I have no complaints about DirecTV, it's been a good service. The price is a little high, but everything else cost money as well, so we just paid it. Think I will shut it off though.
  12. Shit, I'll but one in white, then I'll buy one in black. Just take my fucking money.
  13. This got me thinking, but then I discovered neither of my cars have a cabin air filter.
  14. My neighbor is looking for a trailer like this. I'm going to forward the details to him.
  15. sorry to sound dumb, is that 458.2 hours or is that really 4,582 hours? Has this run for 190 days?
  16. Lower the tire pressure this time Switch from 110 to 112 like I should have been running Clean the carb and make sure it's functioning correctly Fixed the battery charging (I hope) and got the generator running
  17. I'll be in touch when the wife starts her summer yard work projects.
  18. Interested in the LT1 fuel rails with AN fittings, maybe the AFPR as well. Will PM this afternoon.
  19. Pickups Plus has done some pretty mean Mopars over the past few years. The Lewis Center location where the real magic happens.
  20. Yeah, any chance a mod can move it to the NWS section?
  21. I'm curious where this will lead. In Ohio I have to wear a helmet if I am a novice motorcycle rider, do I still need to if I'm driving a slingshot? Do I have to pass a motorcycle operators test to drive a slingshot? It wouldn't be physically possible to pass a motorcycle test with a slingshot, so is it really a motorcycle? In a car I have to wear my seat belt. But a slingshot is a motorcycle, not a car, but it has seat belts which motorcycles don't have. If I get pulled over in a slingshot, and I'm not wearing my seat belt can I be ticketed? Just classifying them as motorcycles doesn't fit any more than classifying them as cars.
