  1. I don't know if RPM sells parts or not. You might check with them. http://www.rpmtransmissions.com
  2. Just re-read the thread, never mind
  3. That sucks. Best of luck getting it back together. Glad you're okay.
  4. Legally I don't think they have anything to worry about. They would win in court, but in the court of public opinion they would probably loose. I'm really curious what the engineer is going to say. It doesn't look like trusses to me, it looks like rafters, but I don't see any horizontal bracing either at the base of the rafter or across the middle. If that is the case then the only thing holding the rafter up is the spacing from wall to wall, and the weight would push directly out on the walls.
  5. Is there a reason not to do an LLC? I filed the paperwork for mine years ago, I think it was 3 pages total.
  6. Looks evil, I like it. What do you think of the Alky system? I was looking at that for my Camaro once the blower is done. Welcome to the site.
  7. "*The only exception to this are those individuals born after December 1, 1964, who currently hold what is called a legacy license or identification card (traditional) with an expiration date that occurs after the December 1, 2014 deadline. These licenses and identification cards will be accepted until they expire. " The way I read it, a standard license/ID is good until it expires.
  8. Hit me up when you're heading over to help. If I'm available I'll tag along.
  9. Depending on time and date I'm in for this, as long as you guys don't mind my awful game.
  10. Not the way most people I know fix them. Basically breaded and fried.
  11. Looks good man, glad you got those wheels polished up. I know they are a bitch to keep them looking good.
  12. If they have a Shinobi machine, I'll be too busy to notice there are no women around.
  13. Any time you want to take a guest, give me a call.
  14. Can't make it this week. I have too many hobbies. I'm helping to unpack all the entries for the national homebrew contest.
  15. With my property damage claim last summer between the contractor I hired to fix the house and myself we were able to push through everything we needed to. I just kept after them and submitted bills for damage repairs. They put up some fight when I wanted the attached garaged re-roofed with the house. In the end they paid out on all but about $500 of the total. Just keep pestering them, they'll probably end up doing it your way. BTW, I used Puroclean for my water damage cleanup. They were great. You might call them out and get a second estimate. Assuming they come in at a similar number it will be harder for your insurance company to balk at two independent estimates.
  16. Steve, thanks for the offer. I will most likely take you up on that when I get back to town. When I started putting the order together I assumed it would ship with an 8 rib belt, but the kit starts with a 12 rib. If not for the over sized belt it MIGHT have fit, but would have been VERY close. If I stand up the radiator that will give me plenty of room for whatever I want to do from there.
  17. Hey guys, I think I have a plan, but wanted to check with the guys here who have done or need to do this mod. We're putting a D1 blower into my LT1 95 Camaro. These guys ship with a 12 rib belt. The first significant snag to the project is that the cooling fans will not fit in the car with the blower pulley installed. I think I am going to opt to stand the radiator up from it's angled position. We cannot trim the fans in the areas we need to. The plan is to swap out the stock radiator for a Griffin 55241-X. According to all the reading on LS1tech this should work. There will need to be some chopping done on the core support to get it to fit, but it doesn't look like an extreme amount. It also means I have to ditch the A/C. I haven't had working A/C in a couple years, and haven't missed it that much, so we're getting rid of it. Does anyone on here have any experience with this and could give me some feedback on the process or fitment of the radiator and fans?
  18. Getting warmer. Nice looking car by the way. What mods have you done, or are you planning? What kind of racing are you into?
  19. Looks like a fun project. It'll stand out in a crowd when you're done.
  20. Voted. That would make a hell of a wall mural for an office or bedroom.
  21. I doubt you will find anything quite that cheap, but I just bought one from Crutchfield. $100 shipped to my door, including the wiring harness and dash install kit for my car. Last time I got a cheap $40 car cd player it cost me $40 in additional shit to install it. I was more than happy to pay $100 for a sony unit with ipod controls, USB port, etc... It might be worth it to spend a few bucks more and save the hassle.
  22. I've got UMI under my car as well. I'd be happy to take some measurements if you wanted to know placement and clearances.
