  1. Hmmm, maybe I'll get the tails on the Impala done then.
  2. I know you said no GTS covers, but that is what have for the Impala. I typically only run them in the summer when it stays light so late that I don't often drive in the dark. In the winter when it gets dark at 4:00 in the afternoon they are sitting on a shelf in the garage so I can see. Although the tint on the lights for that Mazdaspeed3 look pretty good. I just like that I can remove mine in about 30 seconds if need be.
  3. Sounds like a pretty solid list. That and a tune should pick up some nice power and a couple extra MPG as long as you keep your foot out of the throttle.
  4. This is me too. I used to try and snipe bids. Now I just put in what I'm willing to pay and wait for an email to tell me if I won or not.
  5. Nice find, sounds like a good price for a low miles very clean car.
  6. I didn't know if I was going to like the onscreen keyboard but decided to give it a chance. It took a little while to get used to it, but I like it now.
  7. Looks slick, but I like the resto-mods myself. I love the classic body styling with the modern upgrades. I know they won't hold value like an original, but I drive my cars and enjoy them, not let them sit in storage.
  8. A few of us were talking about how gullible people are with cars and mechanics. I remembered a radio prank I heard a while back. If anyone hasn't heard this it really is worth a listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJipeocG8pk
  9. I took lessons as a kid. I finally got to quit when I broke my hand. Had I known that would work I would have broken it sooner. Everyone wants to be able to play the piano, no one wants to learn to play the piano. If you have already learned to read sheet music then yes, learning to play will be easier.
  10. I know my girlfriend is always looking for knickknack dust collector shit to hang around the house (so I won't be showing her these, sorry). I'd say make a guess at how much time she has invested in each one times minimum wage, add the cost of the kit and frame. It is probably more than people would be willing to pay, but it's a starting point. You're probably better off selling them if you take custom orders, especially if she will customize them (add peoples names for instance).
  11. I think the best I have ever had was at the Elevator down town. I think they brew it there. I was thinking about buying one of those Mr. Beer kits and making my own. IBC is great, but I have a taste now for even better.
  12. You should be able to run a splitter after the box, before the TV and split off to another TV. Both TVs will get the same feed from the receiver. This would be the only way I know to feed two TVs from one receiver. What you might add to it is a wireless remote extender so you can change channels on the receiver while in the other room.
  13. Well, it ain't fast so it must be furious.
  14. I've bought several things from them and they are cool to deal with. I'd give everything a good visual inspection. Maybe check the plug for the element with a multimeter and make sure the part is getting power before buying a new heater.
  15. Thanks for the reminder, I'll try and make it out this weekend.
  16. Joey Changs - Hilliard (Chinese and Thia, not cheap, but not expensive either) Ann and Tony's - West Jeff Barley's Smokehouse (good beer, good food, and pool tables if the conversation needs a kick start).
  17. Another option might be a bunch of cheapo digital cameras, when you break one just pull another out of the bag and keep snapping. I've seen some of them take a pretty good beating and still work. Just pull the memory card and keep going. If nothing else you could try just one and see how it holds up.
  18. I think I like the second back yard better.
  19. Like they say, "The devil is in the details". I saw the pic of the Camaro and thought that was what you were parting out. If I had actually read your carefully written post I would have seen otherwise. $25 is a hell of a deal on the door, but based on the fitment and where you are I think I'll pass this time. Thanks anyhow.
  20. My drivers door on my '95 has been giving me fits enough that I was thinking about replacing it all together. Are you tied to selling the chassis complete, or are you willing to part it out. Does anyone know if a '99 door would fit on a '95?
  21. I've had a good experience dealing with Sawchuk Jewelers in Hilliard. It's a small, family owned local place.
  22. Weekend of our family Christmas party. Otherwise I would be there.
  23. I love me my 94 Impala SS. Hate to say it though, but to get a good price on one you'll have to buy a donked out on and de-donkify it. Anyone who has an original is asking the moon for it.
  24. Congrats man, home ownership can be a great thing.
  25. I'm in the market myself. Thanks for the advice to check out PPC, just sent Brady a PM.
