Does anyone have an empty they have not returned yet? I'm sorting out whether I can fit a half barrel with a standard ball tap in my fridge. I'd rather try it with an empty first and find out if I need to buy a low profile tap or not. I just need to borrow it long enough to check the height.

Columbus Colweld on the south side.

I don't know this is really out of the norm. When I bought my Impala I was only able to withdraw $2000 cash. I had to go to multiple branches to get the full amount. What they told me was if I wanted more than that I needed to give them 24 hours notice to make sure they had enough on hand. It was inconvenient, but it makes sense that banks are not keeping an insane amount of cash on hand. That just makes then a bigger target for a robbery.

I love my '96 civic. It's bare bones, 5-speed and runs like a top. It has no balls what so ever, but for reliable, cheap transport it's great. I'd buy another in a heart beat if this one dies.

New Feature In GMHTP this month

That's unbelievable. It has to be a rush having your car on the cover of a magazine. -
If you're going to water cool this is the place to start. Don't fuck around trying to fabricate water blocks. Buy good ones that are pressure tested and will fit correctly. Then it's a matter of coolant, pump storage and heat exchanger. I put together a system a while back that consisted of a 10 gallon fish tank, fish tank pump and a small radiator. You can buy one for a PC or use a transmission cooler. I drilled two holes in the back of my case for inlet and outlet lines. Honestly that was about it. I cooled two systems with that same rig for a couple years. What ever you do make sure you don't use plain water as your coolant (add alcohol or some additive) or you'll end up with snot growing in your water blocks. Heck, you might try running a cheap bottle of vodka as your coolant. It might work well. If you want a prefab unit check out http://www.koolance.com/ They have some nice boxes that incorporate the pump, storage and heat exchanger. Both internal and external systems.

Since you have Lt1 Edit my advice would be Dyno Brian. The only reason he doesn't normally tune LT1s is he doesn't have the software.

I saw that once on a Hemi Dart. The owner installed the chain to keep the engine torque from breaking motor mounts.

Signed up on the website. What do we need to do to help make this happen?

I've done a couple systems using purposed designed cases and home brew rigs. Neither of them were anything more than just a gimmick.

Damn, someone spent some money building that. She should be a blast. That list looks similar to what I've been working on the past couple years.

I'd agree on 5 - 7k. Stock they are in the 4 - 5k range. With a 12 bolt and other upgrades I'd go another 1 or 2k depending on what all else is done. I've dumped a shit ton into mine. Probably the worst investment in history, but I like it and I have fun with it.

I thought about it, but didn't like the idea of the monthly fee for a remote start.

It's all good. Since he has stood up for his right to not respect his elders he will most likely be treated in kind. In another 10 or 20 years the youth will be standing up for their right to piss on him and call it rain.

Valid point. But this country was founded on religious freedom. Wearing a Yarmulke is not a fashion choice. In my opinion no different than a Hijab. Neither of which would normally be considered being disrespectful. My assumption is the court would respect the religious customs of American citizens and allow them. A dipshit in a knit cap is not the same in any way shape or form.

Hell, I've got a few beers in me. The big problem is the people who think they have the right to do whatever they want whenever they want. Yes, this country is founded on freedoms. The right of free speech is a good example. The right of free speech does not grant you the right to say anything you want whenever you want. If you want to test that try swearing at the judge the next time you are in a courtroom. You'll get a warning at first, and if you don't stop you will get the same treatment that dumbass got. It may seem like a little thing that he was wearing a hat in court. And to be completely honest, it really is a little thing. But the court is required to draw a line. What is right vs. what is wrong. There is no gray area. At some point it was defined that wearing a hat in court was disrespectful, and thereby wrong. Was he hurting anybody? No. Was he threatening anybody? No. But, by the courts definition he was in violation of policy. His failure to abide by the policy is what got his ass arrested. If he disagreed with the policy he should have taken it up with the courts in an intelligent manor. He chose not to do that and is now branded an "attention whore". I have no problem with anyone challenging authority. As long as they do it in a constructive manner. Going toe to toe with a judge in his courtroom is not constructive.

Contempt of court is an arrestable offense. The policy is listed among others as set forth by the court. Or maybe you are talking about having it posted as a sign on the wall. If that is the case are you going to insist that the entire Ohio Revised Code be posted on every wall so you know what is right and what is wrong? When he was asked to stop wearing a hat in court he should have known he was doing something wrong. Any intelligent person can make that conclusion. His insistence that he is not doing anything wrong is irrelevant. Ignorance is no excuse. As an adult in our society you are expected to know our laws and follow them.

Thanks!

I don't think respect is too much to ask. As a teacher my classroom cannot operate without respect. If a student chooses to disrespect me by wearing a hat, or any other way, he gets a couple chances to change his attitude, and then he's out. I see no difference between my situation and a courtroom. Either show the judge the respect he deserves, or suffer the consequences. It's a decision to be made, and every decision has consequences. If you're not willing to accept the consequences for your actions I have no sympathy for you. I will disagree with the folks calling for him to be tased. I would have laughed, but I do think that would have been unnecessary. He was not being violent, and was in no way threatening harm. However, his refusal to be respectful justified his arrest. His resistance justifies his treatment.

Personally I prefer chrome. I'm not a big fan of black wheels, and polished is more work to keep clean. I run 17" Torque Thrust II's on mine and wish I could have gotten them chrome instead of polished. I hate my spring polishing sessions.

Yet another person who thinks they have the freedom to act any way they please. It's not a crime to wear a hat, it is a crime to disrespect a judge in his courtroom. As for the officer ... He is an officer of the court, not a criminal or bystander. For all you know the cap he is wearing is part of his uniform, or he has secured special permission from the judge to wear it for reasons we don't need to know. The guy was given instructions to remove his hat several times and failed to do so. If he was outside in a public area he has the right to refuse. In a courtroom he does not have the right to refuse a reasonable request.

Is tire cost a factor in the decision? If so you might include 17" wheels in the choices. I think you can get a lot of the same options in 17" that you can in 18" and will save you a chunk on tires.

I've always been interested in the megasquirts. If you have Dyno Brian tune your car I'd like to stop by and see what is involved.

Ignorance in bliss in this instance. I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't care what is in the food, but as long as the FDA says it's okay I'll continue to eat at Taco Bell.

I went by yesterday and had a Viper remote start installed in the Impala. Works great, and the only issues were cause by my 16 year old car. Brady still took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly.
