I live out that way, depending on the timing I could bring a car or two out. Sounds like it's for a good cause.

For the not hooking high 60ft non stock bottom enders
Richard Cranium replied to V8 Beast's topic in Dumpster
Hmmm, not sure if I qualify for this club. 60' is 2+ Bottom end is not stock Tires are hooking fine, but the clutch is not Then again with a new trans and clutch I'll probably be back in the tires not hooking category. -
:funny: That shit is funny.

Nice turnout for as hot as it was.

I appreciate all the feedback guys. I'm looking forward to this project.

I have thought about a Jeep several times myself. I love the idea of pulling the doors off, taking the top off and cruising. Seems the closest to a motorcycle you can get with a car.

Looking for some reclaimed or any other cheap lead.
Richard Cranium replied to Tinman's topic in Dumpster
I have a shit ton of old pipe organ pipes. I believe they are lead and tin. Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but let me know if you are interested. -
Avery Rd Animal Hospital in Hilliard, not too far from 270 on Cemetery Rd. We take both our dogs there and they are great. As far as grooming goes? Petsmart has groomers, but in all honesty its not that difficult to bathe a dog yourself. If you don't want to do it at home there are Petspaw places attached to some car washes where you can wash your dog. One of them is beside Meijer on Hilliard Rome Rd.

Don't want to go auto. I like my 6 speed. Would an auto be more consistent? Yeah, but not as much fun. Zach, I have heard the term faceplating, but I do not know what that means. Sounds like RPM gets the nod, but I'll look into the others as options too. I appreciate the feedback.

Who here has a built T56, and where did you get it? The only two options I know of right now are Tick Performance for a build, or get one of the new T56 Magnums. This is for my 95 LT1 Camaro. My current T56 has 140k on the clock. I have bumped the motor to 383 and right now she is putting down 355 and 370 at the rear wheels. Once we put in the 9 inch, a good clutch, nitrous (at least a 100 shot) and slicks I don't think it'll hold up. I'd rather be proactive and replace it before it breaks, preferably this winter when the 9 inch goes in.

Was a nice day for it.

Camaro/GTO/G8 Track Day, MOSCC, 9/13...
Richard Cranium replied to HUMBLER1647545517's topic in Events
Sounds like fun. When you say that you assume everyone has had minimal training what do you mean by that? I have had no formal training what-so-ever when it comes to high speed driving. -
Leaving in a few.

How thick a material? Anyone asking about powdercoating I send to Performance Powdercoating.

Saw it at cars and coffee a couple weeks back. I am in awe of what you have accomplished.

Screw it ... sounds like fun to me. Used to be a group that organized a poker run but all the way points were strip clubs ... the called it the smut run.

Absolutely he can. The only reason he does not tune LT1s is he doesn't have the software.

http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/mini-gets-v18-diesel-for-goodwood-2010-07-01 3,500bhp Mini for Goodwood If you have an 11-tonne problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them - maybe you should see a shrink. Because if you ask engineering firm Cummins to fit a monster V18 diesel into an original Mini, they'll ruddy well do it. Set for a Goodwood showcase this weekend, this one-off nutjob comes with a built-in 11-tonne, 3,500bhp Cummins diesel engine, used in other such notable applications as mining industry dump trucks. Yes, dump trucks. When we say built-in, we really mean shoved on the back, because as you can quite clearly see the monster V18 diesel requires its own rather extensive undercarriage. In a biblical understatement, Steve Nendick from Cummins said: "It proved to be a bit tricky to fit under the bonnet, but our engineers came up with a more creative solution." The engine pumps out more than 10,000lb ft of torque and uses 12 turbochargers, and will likely do some minor damage to our planet's gravitational pull. This will result in the destruction of all things and the end of man. So pretty punchy, then. We'll be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which kicks off tomorrow. We've stuffed a TG staffer into a very special Porsche indeed... check back for more updates

I saw that years ago .... damn it's funny.

I have had a PCMforless tune and it was good. If you are looking for a Dyno tune then you might try Pickups Plus. For some reason I'm thinking they have the software to tune LT1s. Also, Brian does not have the software, but knows a guy who does. I had my 95 Camaro tuned at Brian's.

I like my Nitto Invos.

I have one on my Impala. Like everyone else it hides a butt load of rock chips. Black car, black bra, I think it looks pretty decent. I've never had one before, but I needed to cover up all that damage. I might even keep using it periodically after I get the damage fixed to keep the chips from happening again. Like long road trips and such. http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq260/01fxst/Impala/IMG_4376.jpg
