I have a D90 and really enjoy it, but you would need to get a used one to keep the price down. What you want depends on how much control you want over your camera's functions. Most people don't know what f stop, shutter speed or ISO even is. Since you know those terms, how much control do you want and how easily do you want that control. Most cameras you can change all that stuff, but since you need to navigate menus I find it a hassle and don't change setting on PIS camers. I will tell you that at first I used my D90 on aperture mode, I would set that and let the camera figure the rest. After using it for a while, I now tend to do more shooting in full manual. I like to be able to change the settings to what I want. I like that the controls are laid out well and easy to navigate without going to the menu for everything. Are you ok only changing one thing or do you want "hot buttons" on the camera for faster access? Do you want full control that is easy to do on the fly? What are the prices of lenses? I think (have never looked) that Nikon lenses cost more then Cannon. Something to consider for the future. Hold them, play with them. Which seems to feel the best? Which one allows you to change functions easily? Research how they process photos. I think Cannons tend to be cooler and Nikons warmer with respect to jpeg pics.

Roberts roofing did a great job on a rubber roof for me. I had his kid in my class probably 3 times, great family. Came in half of what Able wanted. Able sub contracts their work out, so everything is marked up. Roberts Roofing 24369 Rapp-Dean Road Raymond, OH 43067 (937) 246-3921

That integra is a pile. I would stay away, looks like a high schooler got his hands on it. What about spending a few more bucks like these: No idea the miles, but you might be able to get it for $2,600 http://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/3174993743.html Awesome price on this, IF there is nothing wrong from the wreck: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/3156946258.html

No photoshop on these. Shot with a D90 that I am still learning. Wife has a ferret and adores it. So we took some shots. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/DSC_5894.jpg Honeymoon last year in Ireland: http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/DSC_2540.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/DSC_1590.jpg This was just humorous to us: http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/DSC_2883.jpg and my car with a little PS work: http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/wheelsengine.jpg

how many idiots to change a light bulb?

I have always wondered how to change those bulbs. I think a 16' folding ladder is in order, but who has those outside theaters? Might be able to put an extension ladder on the flat part, but would need towels on the top to protect the ceiling. -
Dogs with a pal are always happier. Great Danes only live to around 7-8 years and eat 8 cups of food a day. Expensive to own and heart breaks with their short life. They are great family dogs and knock kids down by accident! As for going straight to a breeder, there is something to be had for raising a dog from a pup. Our 2 dogs are rescues (lab and lab/golden) and we are lucky they have no major issues. One was free and the other a small donation to take. I think $2k+ is a lot for a dog that is not going to be shown. Why can't you fix your dog?

I just saw it. This is more of a Thriller/Drama then a shoot up up action movie. Pros: Great story A few twists Well written and good acting Good ending left open Cat women character was great Cons: Very little actual "Batman" stuff No bat gizmos Only a flying bat thing and motorcycle Not enough Batman kicking ass and vanishing Some parts dragged on Hard to understand Bane at times, his voice was muffled Looking forward to the Expendables 2! Lol, going to be a dumb story, but it will be amazing!

Oh dear. The Nissan Z might be getting slower.

I would rather have a V6 then a turbo, just simpler. At the Mid Ohio I have had so many turbo pipe and heat problems with the MR2. -Pipes blowing apart -Couplers failing -Hot pipe temps over 250 degrees Not to mention the non linear power delivery both applying and letting off the gas. Makes for a challenging drive. -
I heard about this. Pretty neat, but man, I could not drive the same car that long.

What about a backpack round up sprayer? They don't have a huge water volume. When I was a wee lad in Boy Scouts, the summer camp had these: http://productimages.grainger.com/is/image/Grainger/3EJT4_AS01?$productdetail$ Totally a beast at putting out fires. Just pump the handle. The metal one is like $400, a plastic one is around $220 and a bag style one is around $150 from grainger.

Nice pictures. I love the composition of them. That X at the end is a nice touch.

That is pretty sweet. Lot of work setting all that up though!

A couple pictures to critique

Make this, tripod results, fits in your pocket, costs $2 -
I hope it it taken from the first floor! There are 4 registers within 10 feet of the furnace, foyer, study, dining room, and stay cool. But who uses those rooms? The master is 45' away and 10' up and needed more air.
-
I just installed 2 of these: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/300/70/701a4394-2677-42eb-bca6-ba5f87b0e12d_300.jpg A 6" on the supply and a 8" on the return to my master (furthest from the furnace). Tripled the air flow to that room. I wired it into the blower on the furnace so it runs when the furnace does. Totally worth the $60 it cost and 4 hours install (I had to custom some of it due my 7" duct work).
-
Do you have a Ram SRT-10? If so I kept up with one at Mid Ohio in my 200hp MR2 for 6 laps and then passed him.
-
Another big thing people forget about is cold air returns. In a perfect system you should have 2 in each room, one high and one low. In the winter you use the lower ones and in the summer you use the ones near the ceiling. You can't add air to a room if the air is not removed somehow. On my house I don't have enough cold air returns period especially upstairs. It is always 83 in our bedroom and a nice 75 down stairs. The furnace makes a thump sound when it turns off as the cold air return bounces back to size because it is not large enough. One place wanted close to $800 to fix that. DAMN!

I will call, but we are pretty specific with the one we ordered. 5 speed Lignting Red Limited fancy rear view mirror with home link Rear diffuser Importance in that order. Wife wanted it this way.

Someone on here steered me towards the sign up. It was not even full. Seemed like a lot of effort to put forth and offer essentially a "free" auto cross course (no times). Afterwards I went to Toyota and Subaru, they are not going to really have any to test drive. Every one that shows up is a customer order. Heck, you are not even allowed to sit a car that a customer ordered. So this demo day was a hoot.

Quit talking like you know everything about racing Rich. Ever heard of a turbo? Left foot brake and gas at the same time to build up BOOST while racing.

Here us a video of my wife driving the FR-S. The last 30 seconds are the best and she did it around 1:00. Not bad for never doing an auto cross before.

Here is a video of my wife and I at the FR-S event. She did it in roughly 1 min. Not bad for her first ever auto cross event driving thing. The last 20 seconds are the best if you don't want to watch it all.
