  2. I am only tiling my bathroom and I have probably 30 hours into the shower stall alone, still have to do the floor. You can buy one cheap Skil $80 over renting.
  3. What are they called? Where do you get them? How much are they?
  4. I am currently redoing my bath and borrowed 2 from friends. You can stop by today and use them, I am up in S. Delaware/N. Lewis Center. I will probably be using it today after 4 pm, so it would be perfect. They are not fancy ones, you push the tile through with your hands, no moving deck like these: http://www.mordenhomehardware.ca/HHRentals/Saws/tile_saw.jpg Or http://www.mkdiamond.com/images/saw_tile/157222.jpg
  5. Ahh, good luck. I agree with the 42" mainly because I am 6'4" and hate fake ivy or bottles on top of cabinets. What does one do with that space?
  6. Post a link, too lazy to search around. I would encourage you to use LED lighting. They come with a trim ring and are = to a 65 watt. By the time you buy bulbs and trim, you are at ~$15-$20 anyway, my LED was $25 at Depot. Plus they don't get really hot like a incandescent and no warm up like a compact.
  7. Totally sucks! I lived where 161 and 71 meet in a crappy apt complex. I drilled a hole in the curb and installed a huge lag bolt and chained my bike to that everyday (for the future if he gets it back).
  8. I spent the money on a 3D smart TV. It is a 65" with passive 3D. Active glasses are a pain. You need to charge them, sync them to the TV, I can see the shutters, and extra glasses are like $75. Passive has no batteries and you get glasses for free if you keep your 3D movie ones from the theater (otherwise like $20). Short answer is NO. I have watched about 3 things in 3D. I also don't like the "smart" TV. If I did it again, I would go with a smart DVD player or Roku. For $100 you can get a new one in a few years when new hardware is out, I am not buying a new TV every 5 years. Also 3D hurts my eyes after an hour, you can only focus on what the camera focuses on. Your brain tries to focus on other things, background, other areas of the screen, and can't. That is why some people, like me, get headaches from them after a while.
  9. No. It looked like he hit a wall at 5mph. A heat gun and he had the damage out except some cracked paint.
  10. Die Hard is a real Christmas movie.
  11. The first one was bad, but I enjoyed it. This one was amazing! Leave your brain at the door and just go enjoy it if you loved 80's action movies. The plot sucks, the acting is poor, and the CG graphics look fake, but it's great to see stuff get blown up again, and again, and again. The one liners are great, the audience was laughing a lot during the film and it was neat to see all my old muscle heroes together. As one critic said and I agree with it 100%. Anyone else see it? http://www.filmofilia.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/the-expendables-2_img.jpg
  12. Wow, nice pictures, especially for no light. #6 is a great shot!
  13. I was there behind that guy and in his defense the track was slick as ice. All that Indy rubber and water made it slick. He also did not take it easy on that turn like he should have and then reacted poorly when it did slide.
  14. I was there too running in group 4, got signed off to time trial for next year. It is a blast and anyone can take their stock car up there for the first time. Just change your brake fluid before you go and summer tires would help too. I took my wife's 03 civic 5 speed, stock there. Over heated the pads and the all season tires yelled a lot, but still had a great time. Once you go a few times you will get better brake pads and later tires. Been doing it for 4 years. People always make excuses why they don't go. Cost, time, car is not right. Bull I call. It is like $210 for one day or $370 for 2. That is like a cold air intake or tune, or lowering. What you learn goes with with you to your next car when your modified car is long gone. To the OP, I only watched 1 lap (track videos are boring), but I saw this: Turn 1: enter a little later and get on the gas sooner. Fastest turn on the track End of back straight (Turn 7) you can brake way, way later and go through that turn a lot faster After maddness (Turn 8) there is turn 9 a right hander. Floor it as you hit the apex and you can keep it floored through 10a/10b under the Honda bridge and over the hill to the right. At the end of Thunder Valley, you can turn in a little earlier. You want your left front tire to touch the beginning of that candy (there is even a dirt spot there from others doing that) As you go around the carousel, hold your line a little longer and late apex that with full gas. For a first time, your line looks great. There is so much to learn and Mid Ohio is a challenging track to drive. I am still not bored with it after 4 years.
  15. Went to Mid Ohio this weekend and did the NASA HPDE Group 4 with my MR2. Guy running group 3 had a BRZ stock and it was the car's first time on the track. First session, first lap, in the rain. Slicker then snott with all the Indy rubber on the track. Slickest I have ever seen it in the 4 years I have been going. Dude thought he was awesome and could talk the talk before hand (and all weekend). Spun right in front of me and hit the tire wall on the exit of turn 1 with an instructor in the car! I am not taking mine to the track for a few years. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/IMAG0558.jpg Before http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/IMAG0555.jpg
  16. Sweet looking bike! Have fun. I miss my bike at times. Remember, nobody in a car sees you, especially in left turn situations.
  17. The limited is $27,450. So add that rear diffuser and tax, tags, what not, it is easy to add another $3k to the price.
  18. We were. She liked the A5. I did not like the weight, slowness, or soft handling, but it was going to be her car. We drove a FR-S and she liked it, so we ordered one. The A5 was about $33k used, the BRZ was around $31 with the options we choose ($1k for a rear diffuser, not sure if that is worth it) .
  19. My wife is an Ophthalmologist at Med Vet. She did her residency at OSU. She agrees with this 100%. She recommends MetVet for these reasons: No students will be "learning" on your dog. Many mistakes are made by students. No 1st/2nd year residents will be doing the work. Her first cataract surgery took 3x longer as a resident then it does now. More time under the gas = more trauma Overall, your wait time is less at MedVet because the Drs. are not teaching students. Wife see a case in 20 min now compared to 45 at OSU (most of which was owners sitting in the waiting room while students took turns looking at the dogs).
  20. My wife ordered a red 6 speed. More HP would be fun, but I am looking forward to driving a new car. For the price it is everything I wanted too. Lighter then a Genesis. Bigger then a Miata. More unique then a Mustang. My wife rented a mustang. She had 2 guys give her a "Thumbs up" while driving it, but she still did not want one. She said they are everywhere and boring. Look at all the excitement/controversy the BRZ makes in these threads alone. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/DSC_7237.jpg
  21. Or maybe the car has 150k miles on it. Most guys don't drive their exotic cars around.
  22. I took some too. Not much PS done here. I don't have the time to mess with them. Plus I am not pleased with most of my pictures. Only using the kit lens that came on my D90. In trying to lower the shutter speed, I ended up over exposing them. There was just so much sun at 2pm. I still shot at ~200 and turn the ISO down as much as I could and zoomed all the way in. Still too much light. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/5.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/4.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/3.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/2.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/cars/1.jpg
  23. Get the 2", then you can not only put a tow ball on there, but the receiver will take a BBQ, car rack, dead deer rack, whatever. Even if your car can only tow 1500lbs. I agree to support Pick Ups Plus. I got my hitch at Uhaul (before I joined here) and put it in myself. No drilling, took about 30 min, super easy. Wiring can be hard. My Element had a plug inside for a tow wire harness. My old truck did not. Element took 5 minutes once I figured out how to get the interior panel off. Truck took more like 20-30 min. Add another $25-$40 for the wire kit. All said and done, $220 in parts plus labor. Yours or someone else. Then a decent 4x8 trailer is going to be $500 (used) - $800 (new). What were you expecting the price to be?
