  1. First fill it with water and hit it with a toilet plunger hard. A lot of times that will cause some gunk to pop out. If that is no good I would get a cheap snake from Home Depot and snake it ($20). A lot of time soap and hair gets stuck in there. Chemicals only dissolve some of that stuff and weaken the pipes.
  2. I know nothing about drag, why can't you run under 10 sec? Missing safety gear or something?
  3. Why aren't the women making their own sandwiches?
  4. Have had those for years in woodworking. Metal is quite neat to see. Hollow Chisel Mortiser:
  5. Wife wants to learn. Looking for a upright or a electric piano. Budget of <$400 and I can get it. Been surfing CL also. Contact if you have any info. 845 926 22nine seven
  6. If he puts a single wheel on the back then it will lean as he turns, thus making it a little safer. Plus it needs fenders to be DOT legal, at least I think. That will flip in a hurry, I would never ride it on the street.
  7. I am grew up 1.5 hours north of the city and my sister lives in the city. Don't go on New Year's unless you want to just say you went. If you go New Year's eve, get there around noon-4. You will stand in those gated areas until the ball drops. No restrooms, can't move, cops and people everywhere. If you can't see the ball they set up big TV's everywhere. Once it hits, the crowd moves and you go where they go. NYC is great at Christmas. Things to do: Take Staten Island ferry for a free drive by of Lady Liberty (about a mile away) Go to Empire State building City Bus tour (might be cold) hop on, hop off anywhere Central Park is neat Hit up Ground Zero MOMA is interesting National History Museum is huge Brooklyn Bridge is neat to walk half way across Rockefeller center tree and "The Rock" not as tall as Empire, but still neat. Times Square, expensive stuff since it is all tourist See a Broadway show, go to TKS day of and they are half off Many great restraunts, but stuff is expensive. I like a place called Beccos. They have a special for $22 all you can eat Italian pastas. http://becco-nyc.com/ Stay at a hotel in the city, easier then taking the subway in. Expect to pay $150 for a cheap place (motel 6 or worse) and $200+ for a decent place per night. You can fly to JFK or LaGuardia and take a train/taxi to the city for around $20-$40 Get around on the subway, only $7 for a day pass I think. Subway maps are easy to read. Take a taxi once, just to do it, but they are pricey. Things look close on google maps, but it takes time to travel. Walking is the best way around, not many fatties in NYC. Figure about 10-20 min per mile to travel. Farther north you go, cheaper things get.
  8. Specs? Miles, price, options, etc
  9. Pardon my ignorance, but what caused the failure?
  10. I had a 91 toyota truck I listed like your first example, all issues. No hits. I listed it as a 4x4 Toyota with 206k miles, 5 speed and it was gone in a week with 20 emails. Some emails still asked how many miles. One person called and asked it if was automatic. People don't read. Less detail seems to sell. Don't list minor issues. I would not even tell anyone about a motor replaced 4 years ago, grinding head light, high beam, who cares. If they don't find that stuff looking at it, then they are not a picky car person. A small pinion leak? Don't even tell someone if it is not major. No horn? Fix or leave it at "bad fuse" and let them deal. Easier to say and fix a bad fuse then steering wheel. A few pics in the craigslist ad are good, not a link. It will sell. Advertise it to get people to look, then talk details good and bad when they are at your place. Easier to talk price when they are looking at the car.
  11. Some not funny things posted here, this, this is funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcjoGn6FLwI&feature=player_embedded
  12. The old one is great. You need to have a love for computers to really appreciate it.
  13. I go to a guy named Dave. Been going there for a few years. Great hair cut and he straight razors my neck and side burn areas. Warm lather too with a hot towel. He does the whole face if you want. He is in Polaris located at the Hilton Head. Dave Buell Cell (614) 394-5718
  14. I have done that trip 3 times. It is pretty neat. If you go in October they will dim the lights at night and tell local ghost stories over the PA system. That is pretty neat. I think they also went further north on the ghost ride.
  15. Wow that looks great. Nice work. How long did it take you?
  16. Pretty sweet! No auto laces, but that is still 4 years away. The little film is a bit campy, but Christopher is in it: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/nike-has-released-the-shoes-worn-by-marty-mcfly-in-back-to-the-future-ii/story-e6frg6so-1226134828381 If you want some, they are not going cheap: http://nikemag.ebay.com/shoes
  17. Still some exciting driving. Glad you and the car are ok. Too bad you were not able to save it. I would love to do wheel to wheel.
  18. And hot dogging in the slippery mud at the end to show off, fantastic.
  19. Looks good, but that camera angle is tough to read. Try mounting it so the angle is perpendicular to the road. I have spun there too, well just after the crest. Your tires were screaming at you! What were you running? At the end of thunder valley going through that 2nd fastest turn on the track, you hit it great, but try tracking out to the right all the way over next time. Check out mine at 2:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW6T88pHUig This was last year I think with crappy tires.
  20. Those have been around a while. The stir the air up more to keep the clipping going through the blades more, I did not notice a difference.

  22. Wow, why would you do that. Then the gas tank on top of that fire with all those bikes, I want to see the next minute of that!
  23. MedVet is expensive, but it is a specialty hospital with board certified surgeons, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, oncologists, internal medicine specialists. Think if you went to your general doctor for a surgery, the surgery would not be as good as going to a specialty doctor to do the work. Same applies in the vet world too. Just your insurance covers our specialty work and on pets it does not so we see the added expense for the expertise.
