  1. Same here, none at Barns and Noble. . . sigh
  2. My wife also worked at OSU, they do not kill drop offs, some vet usually takes them home. This is bad practice because if enough people do drop them off, they will not find homes and will be killed. Remember if you can't vet em, don't get em. Applies to kids to: If you can't feed em, don't breed em.
  3. My wife works at MedVet also and they do credit. Hell some things cost over $2k with things like cataract surgery and chemo. Call a few vets and ask about credit, it might only cost $75-$150. Maybe some antibiotics and a splint will be all it needs. The one listed above for $25 seems cheap. Tell the vet your price range. Maybe xrays are $50, but the vet might be able to "feel" for a break and be 80% sure what is wrong instead of 95%. Just ideas that might save you money.
  4. That guy with the Solstice is always there. Everyone has their own opinions. I don't like them, but they are interesting to look at. Tim, I tried to have the camera all the way open. I think I had a f-5 or f-5.6. She did not want to open more and I don't know why. I blurred the background some in PS, but not enough. You made that picture look great. Thanks for the tips on the horizon and I will try some flash work next time. Flash work is hard, but I know what you are saying about a little fill light from it.
  5. I took a few shots, but mine never look as good as Tim's. I need more practice, actually I need more time to practice. Enjoy a few. http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/all1.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/bugyg.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/cobra.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/daf.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/thunder.jpg http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/carsncoffee/aug/vw.jpg
  6. My folks own a home with 2 apts in it. They rented to a life long friend when the friend retired. Retired friend always said "I am leaving this apt in a box". Now my folks want to sell their home, live in the apt for 3 years and sell the apt. The 3 years gives them better tax breaks when they sell. (My folks are tired of dealing with 2 homes to up keep and want to retire). There house has been on the market for 4 months and they have not told their friends they are going to take over their apt yet, they don't know how to! Keep it business.
  7. Nelsonville train ride is neat. Go around Halloween and the tell ghost stories with the lights dimmed on the train. Hocking Hills is great Up in Mohecian is great Amish land. Franklin Conservatory is worth a half day trip Dayton Air Force Museum is great and FREE. Call ahead to make reservations if you want to tour the presidentail planes. There is some huge Gorge in Springfield called Clifton Gorge. I think I have been there and it was sweet for some day hiking
  8. Not anymore. I can't find it anywhere.
  9. Went to Mid Ohio with NASA this past weekend. Here is a video in my '91 MR2 turbo with Falken Azenis, stiffer front sway bar and 197hp at the wheels. 1 minute in you can see Rich (das borgen) in his silver M3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46x82M8lHFU What do you think of my lines? I could prolly shave a good 3 seconds off if I was not dealing with traffic and I went flat out through turn 10 under the Honda bridge, I am just scared the car will not stick there.
  10. Some sweet driving, but I agree the extras were a bit much.
  11. I am stuck in the middle. I make too much that I will never get government help and I don't make enough to get "rich" tax breaks. I think 25% taxes across the board for everyone.
  12. Looks like they just left it sitting in downtown Cleveland with the doors unlocked! They want to donate the proceeds to charity? Why not donate $373,000 and destroy a Kia instead?
  13. I am interested, but I read that this phone uses Bing for it's default search engine. Is this true?
  14. I voted, but why does the public need to vote for you to get into a school? Seems odd.
  15. I am doing a big remodel due to larger termite damage then expected. I need 2 types of people soon: Stucco Man: Someone who is an excellent stucco person. I have multiple styles in my living room where half the drywall will be replaced. I need the ceiling and walls done, possibly other rooms. The original owner was a stucco person and did various patterns throughout the whole house. EIFS Installer: I have replaced 2 walls on the exterior of my home, sliding door and window. I nee someone who is an excellent EIFS installer and familiar with the product. Exterior Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS) I am looking for the BEST, not some general contractor that can sort of do it. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks
  16. Jackson's in Marysville is top notch, but they are expensive. I had them paint a door for me and it match my resprayed car perfectly even though they did not know the paint code of the car. You will get nothing but the best from them.

    Garbage

Thanks CR! I found and called the Delaware County Transfer station off rt 42. It is $40 a ton to dump. I saw those bags at the HD, but at $30 for the bag and then $80 to have it picked up, seemed expensive. I have to take a large wall down, I will call Tony for that one, thanks.

    Garbage

I am doing some remodeling and I have not idea what to do with the demo stuff. I have drywall, insulation, wood, and tile. It is too much for my trash service to take. I have a trailer I can load it onto and take it to a dump, but I can't find one. I live in Delaware. What does everyone here do?

  20. I teach high school and I can tell you that teenagers are horrible drivers. At least once a week a student will tell me how they or a friend got into an accident, ticket or lost their license in court. If you go with a RWD, teach them to drive it in a parking lot when it is raining. No matter what you buy them, put good tires on it. So many of the students have bald tires because they spent their money on subwoofers. I plan to buy my children FWD, low power cars. Teenagers race everything, we were all there at one point in our lives. To the original topic, $2k is a lot for a car that does not run as a first car. Sounds like money is tight. Get a $1k honda or toyota and put $500 into tires, brakes, oil and your set. Not pretty, but reliable.
  21. Decent spoof on Gaga: Nothing can top Amish Paradise, that better then the original (to me anyway).
