  1. I've got an 08 LTZ, they are great comfortable trucks for sure. Glws.
  2. Take a look through the grill and see if the radiator (or ac condenser) is plugged up with dirt. If it is then it won't remove much heat from the coolant with no air flow. I figure its free to use a garden hose or air pressure to clear it out.
  3. I thought DoD was okay if you kept up on oil changes. My wife's 08 Avalanche has just over 150k on it and runs very well with working DoD. Though I may look into that thing Brian linked to see if it would work for mine. Sorry OP, I'm not much help here to you.
  4. When the tile was installed in my bathroom my wife's uncle just screwed the cement board to the subfloor then put the tile on top of that.
  5. Junkyard digs. Dude buys old cars that haven't run in years and usually gets them running where they sit to drive them home.
  6. I just picked up a M&P 2.0 at Vances yesterday. The line to buy a gun was about 2-3 hours from the time you walked through the door to the time you walked out.
  7. Wow, sounds like it's a good thing you didn't meet up with this guy in a parking lot somewhere to make a deal...
  8. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I was wondering if there is anyone here that does ceramic tile. The area is approximately 5'x5' (small bathroom) and I have the tile. I need to get some cement board and thin set for it still, but I have never done tile before and would prefer to pay someone for it.
  9. I've seen articles that are saying "Trump will blame the protests for a spike in Coronavirus cases, but it's actually him opening the country that's spreading it". I'm just tired of seeing everyone point their fingers at the president but there are so many more that play a role in these things including those complaining that likely will be out and about as soon as places open.
  10. Along with the no knock raids, the red flag laws are dangerous too.
  11. I ordered an o2 bung on ebay that's coming from china, so far the tracking info said it last moved (in china) on may 6th, it's supposed to be here by the 16th at the latest.
  12. I was laid off in December and my severance just ran out right before all this Corona stuff. I filed for unemployment and haven't seen anything from them yet and searching for a job right now is damn near impossible (unless I want to make half or less than I was). So the stimulus is padding the bank account with what I had set aside (I wasn't counting on unemployment to come through), should get us by until I am gainfully employed again. For now, I'm just enjoying being home with the kids.
  13. Doesn't the capacitor usually run both the fan and the compressor? If that's the case then the capacitor would be okay, otherwise the compressor wouldn't start.
  14. Clintonville Krogers had a good amount of toilet paper today, big packs but generic brand (if that matters). I cannot for the life of me find any hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes or spray anywhere. If anyone knows where I can find some it would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Got a 24hr ban for it (kind of an "I'm gonna do it anyways" kinda thing), but the funny part is that it auto-tagged Peckerson. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1059&pictureid=9530
  16. A friend gave me a generator that had sat for like 5 years that he couldn't get to start. I pulled the carb bowl and sprayed carb and choke cleaner through the main jet, made sure fuel was getting to the carb, then slapped it together and fired it up. I imagine you are looking at a similar scenario. Use the straw on the can and go through the carb opening and see if you can angle it down through the main jet.
  17. I saw a bugeye wrx wagon on facebook the other day in about your price range, I think it needed work though. There was a Legacy gt on there a couple weeks ago that needed a turbo for a reasonable price, probably gone by now though, I would imagine.
  18. I have zero experience, but would be interested in applying. If it helps, my mother works for chase and used to (I believe) do something similar.
  19. If you got any air in the abs pump while bleeding the lines you may not be able to get it out without activating the system. Go out to a gravel parking lot and slam on the brakes a couple times to make the abs work then try bleeding again. If you get air out do it a couple more times until the pedal feels right. Before doing that though, there were other good suggestions. Check your calipers and make sure they aren't sticking first.
  20. Abs? If so maybe there is still some air in the pump.
  21. The FD is a great car to swap, and yes they are expensive for a 25-30 year old sports car. If you can find a shell they can be had for around 5k if you're patient. To make a really nice FD though, it'll still cost you 12-15k all in most likely.
  22. My vote would be for an Rx-7. They are light and 50/50 balanced, and the balance stays pretty close with an ls swap. There is plenty of kits and write-ups out there to make the swap easy.
  23. For some reason it just came to me, Trust is the name of the company.
  24. I can't remember the name of the shop, but there is a performance brand over there that is selling off hundreds of their Skylines for reasonable prices. They are even offering to store the cars until they are legal to import to the us (for those that do not meet the 25 year rule yet) for $50/month. Might be worth going to check out if you can find out who is selling the cars.
