Well, the frame rotted near the torsion bar cross member on the drivers side, so it's unsafe for daily duty now. 175k on it, runs well, drives well with no lights on the dash. The rear main seal leaks (I discovered the frame issue when I was about to replace it) but a new one is included. I have it listed for 1500 on facebook here, but my no bullshit price is 1200. I have a buddy who's dad had a couple Shelby's, I'll text my buddy and see if there is anything you can borrow. At the very least I may be able to send you some pics of the cars (07 gt500 SS and a 2015 gt350 that did the Shelby cruise in europe, there are pics with the decals and the car was signed by a couple Shelby guys).

I think around Columbus the average chain shop charges just over $100\hr. At $80\hr you are charging less than a lot of places. Best way to handle it imo would be to have the service advisor invite them to shop around for a better deal with a similar or better warranty.

I've seen one on craigslist at a dealer, bone stock for 30k. This car is so much nicer, definitely worth the asking price, unlike the other one imo. You could try posting it in the RX7 group on facebook, I bet it would go in hours.

I have a shit load of wood from when my privacy fence was redone. Also have some old random cut up pallets in there too. It really needs to be cut a bit smaller to burm, but would fit in a truck as is.

Have you tried to bump start it to see if it will run?

It may not hurt to call the bmv or the local clerk of courts to see if you might be able to get a court ordered title for the car. Of course, there is no guarantee you will get a title that way. I may send you a pm with questions as well.

Any holes you find they are getting in that you cannot seal you can stuff steel wool in there (they hate it). Also, you can get the no mess traps (or whatever they are called). There is a small enough opening where your dog cannot get into it and hurt himself, but they work much like a spring trap. One time use, you pitch them after the mouse has been killed.

Does the radio and stuff turn off while you are trying to crank (like they normally would)? It almost sounds like a relay issue to me.

Just let your wife know that you don't love her any less than your child, just differently. As stated before, her hormones are running amok and she is probably very emotional over almost nothing some days. As far as your who do you save question, I would answer the kids over her, and I would expect her to make the same decision, though I would hope to never be put in such a situation. Things will be fine, sounds like she is just in her head with extra emotions right now.

I appreciate the kind words, but it really wasn't a big deal lol. I like to help people when I can and it's a good way to meet new people for me. I still plan to try to make it back out there later to get it finished (and my son wants to come back too lol).
