    If your really dead set on saving your car, this is probably the best idea if you can get the car cheap. Make absolutely sure it has everything you need in good shape. You may be able to use the core support from this car for yours if its not shot (idk if they are removable), but if it is shot your car should probably join his at the bone yard.

    Idk what your credit looks like, but why not get a loan for a better car (now that you have a better job) and use the maxima for a trade in (or scrap it for a down payment).

    I was being flippant with my original comment. However knowing the car will not be on the road very often, I still wouldn't want to be in it if it is hit by another car.

    To a degree yes. I wouldn't want to be in it if a car hits it, if the lego car is in a single car accident... Well I don't think it would be capable of damaging itself too badly let alone the driver or anyone else in the car.

    Just a thought, it might be more worth your while to get the setup to program your own eprom. It's only a couple hundred bucks for the stuff to program them, and eproms are dirt cheap. That way if you decide to change your setup down the road, it wouldn't be hard to change the tune accordingly.

    Don't some auto parts stores have a press (I remember using one in a parts store years ago, but maybe I just got lucky)? If so you may be able to do it yourself.

    When you pull the old gasket measure it. You should be able to find a calculator online to find what the original thickness of it was.

    I purposely avoided that area after I first read this thread, good to know I can go through there again. I have to agree with the general consensus though, karma is a bitch (and no, she doesn't give roofies).

    I can't make dinner due to prior plans, but I will head out to doc's with a few toys for the toy drive if I am able to give them to someone there.

    Are the rotors f-body rotors? If not, are your rotors the correct thickness?

    I have a question about the 2.0t. Does it suffer the same oil sludge issues the older 1.8t's did?

    I know in years past that people were able to go with whomever was dropping off the gifts (to see the children receive them), is that being done this year or no? Either way I do have a toy to donate, though I'm not sure I can make it out on the 14th yet.

    The wipers only work on high, no other speed and it won't spray washer fluid. Just wondering is there is a common problem with the wiper switch or wiring in the column, just looking for a good place to start (well for my dad to start, its my mothers car). Thanks in advance.
