How much rubbing was it? I can deal with a minimum amount as long as it's not so bad that it feels like I'm destroying something. Also, were your running 275-40-18's? I wonder if a 275-35-18 would be better?

I have a 99 Trans Am that's lowered and also I have 2 sets of C5he wagon wheels. One set has tires and the others don't. My question is this, does anyone know if I would be able to run the 18" wheels on the front with a 275 tire? I know I could just try the rears that I.have but I figured someone here had already done this or knows someone who has I could save some time.

I will eat them because I paid for them. However, I always eat them last. The order is as follows: Red Pink Orange Yellow Skittles I eat by the handfull so it doesnt matter. Good stuff all the way.

But most pro cars are the same way. John Forces car looks barely anything close to a Mustang. I do like it tho.

What kind of vehicle is it? That could be why it cost so much. It's not unheard of for a battery through a shop to run in the neighborhood of $150-$175. Add that to say an hour labor of around $75 an hour and you have $250 in the battery alone. Then there are vehicle like an Equinox that have more difficult air filter boxes (I think the Equinox is one of them) that require you to dismantle of bunch of stuff to access the box and then the cost of the filter which could be easily $20-$30 through a shop. Does $400 sound high for just those two items? Yes, but it doesn't sound like the guy is being shady. Now if her car is a 1990 Cavalier, then yes she got taken.

That would really suck. All this talk makes me want to put cones all around my pit area so no one came come with in 30 feet of my stuff. But then again it wouldn't help in a situation like Gary's. I guess there's really nothing to protect you from idiocracy.

Gary we talked about this last night and it seems everyone here is on the same page as our conversation. Like I had said last night you could talk to him next week or when ever you happen to seem them next, talk to them about what happened and if they don't cooperate get out you B.F.H. and then tell them "your hood or mine buddy, you're paying for one of them!" (I'm kidding of course). I don't particularly see it as being your fault that you hit the cable. I mean the cable was at best 5/16" thick and was being used in a shaded area. Whom ever parked the truck/trailer the way they had and then parked across the was from thier trailer is dumb. With the parking lot being as big as it is why wouldn't you park your rig in a way that you could park your racer with it the same way the rest of us do? The only part I think you did wrong was to not get out if your car while the cable was still sitting on it. Hopefully that guy you talked to last night will be able to fix it for the $300. Also, when you go to talk to them make sure you have someone with you as a witness. Right now it's you're word against his and that goes a long way. If you're dumb/inconsiderate enough to which acrossed the road while not making every attempt to insure no one hits your cable or car then I'm sure you would be dumb/inconsiderate enough to be pissed off.

I go every year. Usually I go to eat and then also to renew my tags since my birthday is August 13th. Not to many people renew at the fair so theres never a wait. I try to eat from just about all the main vendors and then spend plenty of time watching the people. I would like to catch a concert this year but I'm not sure if it will happen. Working 2 jobs takes so much of my free time so I'll have to go a Sunday. Any one know who's playing on any of the Sunday's?
