  1. Instead of PM's could they be added to this post please. There are plenty of us parents who would like to buy your old out grown movies.
  2. The coils are the same for both valve covers. The weekend is fine for me. It would be then till I can get over to them.
  3. I have stock rockers and coils. I have valve covers but they are center bolt.
  4. There was a can of WD-40 sitting on the front bumper. Thats what I use to bump diesel's with instead of ether. It has the same effect but is not as violent inside the engine. If I need to use the ether, then I use it with the WD-40. Also, ether in a boosted diesel is not recomended.
  5. I have one I would be willing to sell to you. Pm me if you are interested.
  6. That I'm not sure of.
  7. What were you running your inverter off of? Batteries? How were you planning on recharging your batteries?????@?@?@?@?@??$%^&**()
  8. I never said she wasn't prepared. She didn't even have to leave her house for anything. She has a generator that ran her fridge, her deep freezer, some fans and most of her lights. I was quoting your comment. What I said was on point for the topic. You are arguing that it's worth the money for ALL AEP customers to pay for the clean up. My lights didn't even so much as flicker, yet I'm expected to pay a premium for the clean up???? Fuck you and AEP!!! I run my house with as little electricity as possible. I average less than $30 a month all year with the exception to when it get really hot I turn my central air on to cool the whole house better, and even then my bill is barely in the $40 range. You said you're prepared to be without power for several weeks. If thats true, why did you need a generator? If you need a generator and don't have one then guess what...YOU'RE NOT PREPARED!!!!!
  9. I guess thats all a matter of how you see it. lol We live together and share houshold what-have-you's, have 1.99 kids. Would a ring be much different. By that I mean a ring isn't married. The license is married, the ring is the symbol.
  10. Do you have access to a truck and a trailer? If not then it can be difficult unless you want to either fork over $5000 of your own money or plan on signing a 1 year contract to work for Dominion or Werner. The permit is easy and the actual test can be a bit of a PIA.
  11. Well then the next time my sister looses power in Newark you should buy all her supplies since it's clearly now problem for you.
  12. My brother works for AEP as an engineer. He sits by a computer as his regular job. When stuff like this hits he gets called out for "storm duty" I talked to him yesterday and his pay check for 1 week is over $3000 after taxes. All he did was walk/drive the lines and call in to let someone know where lines/transformers are down.
  13. OK then how about you look at it this way, Would you be happy if you had no choice in paying say $500 for me to have my power returned when you had not lost yours? I understand that they're running a business and that business needs to earn a profit. If I go into the Texas Roadhouse on Church St am I going to see a sign that reads "We lost thousands of dollars in food product during the outage, so were going to add $20 to your bill to recover the cost. Enjoy your meal." NO! As a company they should already have a given amount of loss figured in to thier bottom line. AEP, Texas Roadhouse, even the little mom and pop stand on the corner. I do not feel I or any of my neighbors should have to pay any extra for the cost of this clean up, expecially since thier bottom line is so fat. $25 million is a small drop in a very large bucket for a company like AEP. Companies like them and at&t waste so much money all year in every department of thier company. My brother works for for AEP and I do work for at&t and we see it all the time.
  14. So Gary, when are you gonna make an honest woman of her??? I hear that question a lot so now is my turn to push it on someone. :lolguy::lolguy:
  15. Some hybrid systems can have power output in the 650 volt range and upwards of 50,000 watts. Messing around with that stuff just could be a bad day waiting to say the least.
  16. I don't really remember the "3" hour sleep period????? :lolguy:
  17. Yes. And if you are not properly trained on how the system works, it would be wise NOT to touch them.
  18. Here is some info on feeding if thats whats making her upset. http://kidshealth.org/parent/growth/feeding/feednewborn.html# Hope this helps a bit. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
  19. When we first switched Rhea to the bottle we had problems with her crying so hard it made me cry with her. I called the Dr and and they suggested a lactose intolerance. They suggested we switch from regular formula to lactose free formula and if that didn't help to try soy formula. I already had the soy so we went straight to that and had no problems. I've never heard the feed them till they yak it up method? We were told something like 2 ounces every 3 hours. What formula are you guys using?
  20. I hope they find her and she's ok. I can only imagine what the kids are going through.
  21. This is what I thought about when I saw it. I read about this car in Hotrod mag a few years ago. IIRC the guy why the 57 did it because people told him it couldn't be done. I was telling a friend about just this past Friday.
  22. For lunch today all my daughter had were three packs of matches and washed it down with a cold tasty glass of diesel fuel. YUM YUM!!!
