  1. I would reinforce the bottom with fiberglass resin and matting and maybe even some metal if you can attach it properly. Then I would fill in the small cracks in the top with an epoxy plastic welder. Assuming of course the slide is some type of plastic. Then I would sand the epoxy smooth. At that point if the top is finished I would call it done. You could paint it but the paint will just come off from sliding over it. I would not use bondo on any part of it because when you go doe the slide it will flex as you do and the bondo will break away. Now if you have any bondo on the top of the slide imagine what that would feel like. Not good I promise.
  2. What was this installed on previously?
  3. Just out of curiosity, is this the same car that lost the balancer during 9000 RPM burnout about 5 or 6 years ago? Also, was this car built by Slow Motion?
  4. Can I get NWS!!!(for racial references) Amen!!!!!
  5. Perhaps they recieved a letter and dismissed it as junk mail.
  6. I almost feel out of my chair laughing at your coment. Good thing I caught myself or I would have sued you. :lolguy::lolguy: Anyhow, I'm surprised nothing about that came up prior to closing. Hopefully it isn't too large of an amout and the seller can get it cleared up quickly so you can proceed.
  7. That would be greatly appreciated my friend. Thank you.
  8. I don't really need a set of heads, but if someone had lets say $500 and a wore out set of XXX's I would trade and have the XXX's ported. Then I would sell the XXX's. What I really need is a set of flat top forged slugs for my 403. So I am trying to sell/trade these heads so I will not have any more $$$ invested in piston's than I already have invested in parts I don't need. Does this all make sense???
  9. My personal favorite was the cake with the tea pot on top. Hmmmm...I wonder why ;-) Tina, you did a wonderful job. Everyone loved the cake and made many great comments on it. We ended up not having as many people show up for the party as we had planeed so I just cut all the pieces really big and we STILL had lots and lots left over. LOL. Great job and thank you again!!!!
  10. These are a set of LS1 heads from a 98 Trans Am. :ta:They were ported by John Loughman of Loughman Automotive in Newark Oh. I had them ported for a 403 stroker that I also have pistons for sale for. The engine was installed and ran for 30 minutes. The car was never driven. They have Comp Cams beehive springs with a blue stripe on them part number 918 which are good to .600 lift. The valves are the stock size 2.00/1.6. Casting number 806. They come with the perimeter bolt valve covers and gaskets. I am asking $750.00 for the set but I will accept a lesser amount with a trade for stock heads. ($750.00 is what I paid to have them ported) All offers for these heads will be considered!!! I also need a set os 4.00" LS pistons. I am looking for a C.R. around 10.5:1. Do you have a good set of forged SRP's laying around?? PM if you do. http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00645.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00652.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00651.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00649.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00646.jpg http://i1127.photobucket.com/albums/l622/Gbracing81/IMG-20120626-00643.jpg
  11. What are the tread depths on them?
  12. Thats awesome. I laughed a lot to this one. :lolguy:
  13. D Wiggs is the going to be the first person to wheel a 300 MPH street car on 270. Or has he done it already?????:lolguy:
  14. Just curious, but how fast are you going to drag the Lambo?????
  15. Damn bud, you have all the fun toys. :lolguy: Good call on the door stop. I'm sure everyone that comes in there is aware of the cars that are in there and no one runs carelessly in or out. You seem like a pretty down to earth guy. I look forward to meeting you at CC&C or a track day. Welcome in!!!!!
  16. That is beyond a seriously nice garage. How does one get to be the unlucky one that gets to park thier black Lambo by the door that swings in? Does someone come in there and mop the floors? It's just so clean in there it looks like they are all toys.
  17. My friends have mustangs. I feel inferior here. :lolguy:
  18. No comment on the Zimmer? :lolguy:
  19. Is this in your garage? I've always wanted a Batman style turntable garage floor.
  20. http://zimmerohio.com/z/ctl/op/global/action/1/template/DF/id/651 If my google serves my correctly.
  21. Are you setting the track up at your house? If so, you are only allowed to have so many used tires on your property. A friend of mine and I were setting up a track at his dads house just inside of the Baltimore corp limit and had to change plans due to the EPA came out and told us were had too many used tires "laying around". Either way, after it's a ll set up are you going to have a CR day at your track? I think you should. :-)
  22. Can you use a good winter blend washer fluid?
  23. I presume you're referring to the Walbro in the Trans Am. I'm not sure if you can run one of those with a carb? I could be wrong. Either way just make sure you have a good bypass style regulator. Deadheading a pump like that will kill it quickly.
  24. Without a doubt a good posi unit would be beneficial. If I am mistaken I do apologize, but I thought you were thinking about welding the spider gears which would lock the rear tires together like a spool.
