  2. I spy, with my little eye...
  3. I mean, it’s pretty clear that regardless of the actual numbers, it was too fast. Right?
  4. We could just block Jim for everyone.
  5. I think many of us are discussing need for more difficult testing and graduated licensing. In this case, it wouldn’t have helped since he was clearly already breaking the law. Additional laws wouldn’t have saved their lives.
  6. I agree up to the point where his choices impact others. In this case, he killed his passenger. That said, he was already breaking the law by riding on the highway and also by having a passenger. Neither are allowed with motorcycle temps. So additional laws wouldn’t have saved him or his passenger from his choices.
  7. It was light pink. I ordered medium rare, but it was pretty good anyways.
  8. Another awesome fishing shack weekend. @marlboro man planned a great route today. As luck would have it, tonight happened to be the steak fry at the Eagles. Later tonight they have a band playing. Tomorrow, the long way home.
  9. Andrei and I are meeting at the Scheetz in South Zanesville this afternoon and riding 555 to 676 to the fishing shack. Meeting Joel at the shack. I think Justin is meeting up with us Saturday evening. Should be a good weekend. Weather is looking just about perfect for riding during the day and campfire at night.
  10. Who’s Meathod Man? Is that the dude you spent the night with?
  11. I have love letters from you. Don’t make me post screenshots.
  12. Probably meet up around 10am ish. Few of us are heading down Friday night.
  13. My last ticket was in Texas. Ninety-something in a 55. It was like $300. Wife was not too happy.
  14. Anyone interested in riding SEO this weekend? A few of us are heading down to the Beverly/McConnelsville area. Probably head down Friday, ride all day Saturday, head home Saturday night or Sunday.
  15. That’s great news. How are you holding up?
  16. Sorry, the hurricane messed up plans. It’s rolling right through where I wanted to go. It’ll be a mess for a few days, so not worth wasting the time heading down there. Most likely riding with some folks in SE Ohio instead. Hopefully they get the roads cleaned up before the group gets there next weekend.
  17. Maybe let it sit on the helmet for several hours? Should soften it up and wipe off. Another idea would be to find a tar/insect remover, and do the same process with the rag soaked in it sitting for a period of time. Looks like McKee’s 37 could work. Chemical Guys also has one specifically for matte finishes. The main idea is to break it down without rubbing. Rubbing will cause a shine.
  18. Both will mess up matte finishes. Google it. It stains matte paint.
  19. I’d soak a wash cloth in hot water and lay it over it for a little bit. Like 15-30 minutes. Then try to wipe it off. Maybe rub some Dawn dish detergent on it and let it sit also.
  20. As for why they named it after Christopher Columbus, I got nothing. Most likely people didn’t know back then that he was a murderous douchebag, or didn’t care.
  21. Columbus != Ohio Country. Pretty sure Cleveland is also in what was Ohio Country. The first settlement in what is now Columbus was Franklinton, named after Benjamin Franklin. Columbus itself was founded by the Ohio legislature as a center for transportation in Ohio, and to settle a dispute about whether the capital should be in Chillicothe or Zanesville.
