it is a T-56. M12 is like a gear code. the regular vette has a MN6 transmission IIRC. there are many verrations of the same transmission. and on a vette the shift linkage goes in through the front unlike the camaro that goes in through the top.
if you plan on doing any racing that requies a turn might want to rething the C6 thing. i'm just sayin. if you want to ride in mine before you buy something let me know. if your buying for looks then C6 is a better looking car IMO. but the lines of a C5 are sex too.
p0742 is the main code, p0741 set because of the 742.
Does the scan tool indicate Yes for TCC release pressure?
if no unplug the 20 way connector on the transmission and check again. then let me know. there is a few things it could be.
RPO is the option code. like LS6 is the engine option and Z06 is the upgrade. M12 is the transmission, stuff like that
and its dcking as in dicking off.

do it with the key off, you can get it from the back seat. its under the seat in the back. yellow connector.
GM calls it micro corrosion. it may or may not take care of the problem but like i said most of the time it does.
