  1. i've done injectors in the LB7 duramax, i work at a chevy dealer so i know all about them but other then the LB7 engine with the injector issue we have no problems with them. there was no question asked about how easy they are to work on.

any of you guys have the snap on zero off set wrenches? those things are a god send. $275 for the set kinds sucks but they paid for them self with in a week of getting them. there real long box end. there not on there online catalog or i would post a link.
  3. i don't know what you guys are smokin but a tuned duramax beats the shit out of the cummins. go hang out at the red neck truck pulls. also on the dodges watch out for front hub bearings and front end steering parts like crazy. i've owned an 02' extended cab 4x4 silverado*, 04' crew cab diesel silverado* 4x4 and now an 07' extended cab 4x4 classic and never had a problem with any of them. *silveraldo the most dependable, longest-lasting trucks on the road based on longevity: 1981–July 2005 full-line light-duty truck

i think i have 12k-15k in tools and a box just off the top of my head. it may seem stupid to you but they pay for them self pretty fast.
  5. i have a master lock out set if you haven't gotten in by now.
  6. alot of fixing cars is common sense, school will teach you the basic stuff but its not worth as much as hand on. find a small shop thats willing to let you work there as a C tech and learn for a few years then try to get into a dealer. i know when i go to GM training classes some of the guys that go to there for collage are about the same age as me and they get kinda pissed because i am paid to go and i didn't go to collage like they are. we've had a few people work at the dealer i'm at that went to school for auto tech and they were dumb as fuck.
  7. Craftsman makes professional wrenches that kick ass. IR also makes craftsmans 1/2 impact for only about $170. i've had both for more than 5 years and never broke a wrench or lost any power on my impact and both are used everyday. well i did brake a 9/16 wrench but your not suposed to have a 4 foot pipe on it because the snap off wrench broke too haha.
  8. i don't know where to get one but you should get it chromed.

    USC > UM

all OSU has to do is run around the outside and they got him. that showed tonight with 5 sacks, 4 of then in just one drive. look at game footage he can't run a ball or throw a ball on the run. he only has a good arm when there is no pressure and he stands still.
  12. look at it this way, now you don't need to get those bullet hole stickers for you car.

    USC > UM

i'm a UM fan but the deserved to lose that game. carr needs to go and so does there pussy ass QB. he has to stand still to throw a ball unlike everyone else that can throw on the fly.
  14. the second link you posted i think is BS. figure everything up and see what you get and then change nothing but the state and it changes alot. what difference does that have to do with how many tons of Co2 you are putting out?
  15. did t say SS? last i heard it was going to be a Z06 stingray supercharged LS7

http://members.roadfly.com/agent7/BATF%20Gun%20Room/DSC00002.jpg i went with my dad one time when he was teaching a sub-gun/carbine class in new york and one of the police dept's brought out a full auto tommy guy with a 50 reound drum just like the one in the picture. they brought it in the 1920's for dept. use. they let me play with it and it started to shoot real slow, i kid you not they had me rewind the drum like a toy and the rate of fire was back to normal.
  21. or when a dirt bike lands on you a rod hold my leg together, i bet he gets the samething i broke mine oct. 7 and i just started walking 2 weeks ago. unless they do the surgery he deffently won't be on crutches or a cane and he'll be doped up good.
  22. i don't know where my dad found me the bits, i think it was in columbus somewhere, i think each bit was about $20 depending on the size you need. you also need alot of lube and to run them at 150-250 RPM or they will brake.
  23. to drill an easy out you need a diamond tiped drill bit as nothing else is as hard as the easy out. unless you can get the easy out out and the broken bolt out about the only thing to do is get a bigger bit and heil-coil the hole.
