    rearend.. boo

no it does sound like the rear end let go, i've had to rebulid alot of them because of it, better hope you didn't fuck the carryer and spider gears. if you did it would be cheeper to get one out of a junk yard or call currie and get a new 9 inch or 12 bolt.
  2. my offer still stands lol

    chevy 383 stroker

for that money i bet its cast crank and pistons with eagle SIR rods and GM iron heads its more than likely 10.5:1 compression. going with a mild voodoo cam and the junk intake small carb its prolly 375-425 horse engine but it prolly has gobs of torque. still a deal.

its not that critical, just clean it up with a rag and brake clean and remember to change the oil and filter when your done. also did you say gloves? its just dirt and oil don't be a puss
  7. you could go to a dealer and stand around most of the day unpaid. its close to the holidays so nobody is going to spend money on there cars, i know where your comming from. it sucks but you just have to deal with it because your not going to make people come in and spend money.
  8. thats what i was gonna say, its best to just stick it out where you are at right now and keep an eye out for somewhere else to work
  9. those guys at wheel to wheel can build some cars, they are super nice people to talk to as well.
  10. 12 and 10 are a good age for the bike, it was worth a shot anyways lol
  11. you can make your own with angle iron and flat steel stock
  12. i'll trade you my 88 vette and a pit bike for your kids to play with....well if there old enough
  13. i bet they have some cash on them. hit all the best buy stores in one night before the cops are on the look out.....i just got done watching gone in 60 seconds it looked like a good idea
  14. i've never had an intake leak on anything i've done that on. its prolly the gaskets and sealent i've used though.
  15. pretty sure all you have to do is drill the holes from an angle to a straight
  16. takes more power to turn an 80 than a 60 so keep that in mind, plus it weighs more
  17. L98 is even better thats the enging i already have in the car
  18. come to think about it i think i still have a edelbrock 750 carb and distributor, if you want to trade what i got for what you have
  19. are you doing it on a 96 TA? i have a Victor Jr. intake i'll trade you for your fuel injectors?
  20. i could do it for you sometime this week, $20. auto zone used to do it but i don't know if they still do. i would never let them do it for me but i work at a dealer so i just do it myself anyways.
  21. yes you can, the trick is 1 slow cut insted of a fast cut then a slow cut.
  22. there is a write up about it in the new Car Craft, they tested it and picked up 6hp on the used gears they had in the car already. all its really doing is reducing friction so your not making more horse power your getting back what you already have.
  23. i have an important E-mail i need to read but its a Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions type file, where can i get a program to open it? i would rather not pay for it since its prolly the only time i will need it.
