    Clear Wheels

i can see the DOT and racing organizations having a problem with those.
  3. will they have a problem if i drive since i have a broken leg and am on crutches? i'm not in a cast and i can drive with no problems but you know how some people are about stuff like that.
  4. for as high of quility those are suposed to be it sure did look out of round when they were spining them with the gauges hooked up to the wheel.
  5. i had it done about 2 years ago at Bloomburg in Newark since most of my family went there and had no problems. i think i got out of there for about $850 with the insurance so if it needs done when i get older it doesn't cost me a thing. went in with 20/200 and next day was 20/20 and week later was at 20/15.
  6. i've heard of putting shims between the flex plate and crankshaft. its more for when you refinish a flywheel to make up the difference for the clutch but i don't see why it would hurt to do it to a flex plate aslong as the converter isn't too far into the transmission. you can get shims from columbus joint and clutch and maybe napa.

    hospitals are boring

racing the dirt bike on saturday, running in second place and come up a little short on a double and was thrown over the bars and the bike came down on my leg.
  8. i've been in the hospital since about 4pm saturday. i shatered my right femer and now have a Ti rod in my leg. they say i might get to go home tuesday if they can get my temp under control. looks like i'll be off work for at least 6 months too, think god for suplmantal insurance. don't mind the spelling as i'm dooped up pretty good.
  9. i saw that in some boating mag. i think its for first timers so they can get the basics of backing.
  10. go out and buy the new fel-pro gaskets, there made of aluminum, also get "form-a-gasket" from napa and put it around the coolant passages to keep them from pitting.
  11. what 6.5L doesn't need an injection pump? don't know if it helps you out or not but GM exteneded the warranty on those but i don't remember how far back it went to or the miles.
  12. i put them in a cordless drill and take them to a wire wheel on a bench grinder.
  13. lets see....17k on a 2005....and GM warranty is 3/36,000. am i missing something?
  14. michigan 58 wins, ohio state 37 wins, 5 ties in 100 years of football.

    sbc ideas

go to wal-mart and get this months issue of Car Craft.....500HP engine combos anyone can build. pretty good read.
  23. well the tire could be the same size but the tread depth could be enough on the model car that it messed it up.
  24. i'd look at the proportioning valve if only one wheel is doing it, if both wheels were then i could see a master cylinder.
