I'd hate to see them go but I don't see a huge benefit that a soccer stadium downtown would really be an economic driver for the area? (I'm not exactly an analyst so I could be wrong?) That being said, it was hard enough to get public money to support Nationwide Arena, I see a lot less support coming for the crew. If there has already been legitimate offers on the table to purchase all or even a portion of the team and they were denied, Precourt is leveraging Austin against Cbus and I don't think Cbus will ultimately do what needs to be done. Sucks for all those diehard fans though.

So the only issue with the car was that it needed a new pcv valve and some brake booster hoses? I assume it was running shitty prior to that? Pretty good deal for $2100
-
So... the stock bottom end can handle that much power? How many pounds of boost? and what are you going to use for engine management? Disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about these vehicles, before this thread I thought they all had a straight 6 of some sort.

Would NOT bang.

Cool build, show some before and after shots of the ride height and stance. What kind of wheels/tires are you going with? Is the 97 a first gen 4runner? Goodluck with the build.

I usually dont enjoy scary movies, but I will probably see this... during the daytime... just in case.

So to answer some questions: My employer wasn't giving me any shit over one day, I have near perfect attendance (two tardies over the last calendar year ) this was more of a move to cover my ass IF this medical situation required more hospital or doctors visits. I wanted to explore the intermittent form of FMLA to cover this. I have a coworker that filed for "intermittent" FMLA after his son was born so he could go to all of the doctors appointments... which just happen to fall on a Friday every week for a month. And I understand, FMLA is only meant to save my job at work, not to reimburse me for missed time away. Had I had any personal days left I could have used one, unfortunately I only have a week of vacation and they absolutely will not let employee's use individual days from their vacation weeks, i know its stupid but I think they're point of view is that it would be too much for one supervisor and one manager to effectively monitor and have positions covered at all times so it is what it is. And my sister is not my legal dependent at all, although she sometimes acts like it.
-
I think you're referring to disability. Which could vary from company to company.
-
Is anyone familiar with the rules and regulations covered under FMLA. I am my sister's emergency contact, I had to take her to the hospital last friday and thus attempted to start the FMLA process only for my HR dept to say siblings are not covered. The only coverage I have found so far are stipulations for myself and my employer. I've been employed over a year, have worked over the required hours to qualify, and my employer employ's over 50 people within 75 miles etc...

I probably see 3 movies a month, I did read AMC was theatening to leave the subscription service but they're locked into a contract with MoviePass so we'll see.
-
Does anyone use this service? I just read they lowered their price to $9.95 (it was $50) a month to see unlimited movies at any theater. I probably spend 10$ on one ticket so seeing one movie will pay for itself. https://www.moviepass.com/igw

It's newish (built in 84 I think) so no plaster. I ended up cutting a small pilot hole to get a look in there, I think I'm going to cut a larger hole then go from there. Patching drywall can be a pain but I'd rather do that than take the chance I don't anchor the bracket right the first time. I'm probably over-thinking it anyway but we'll see. Hosting a diaper party on the 26th and this is my task... well this and buying the keg but I have no problem doing that part.

Attempting to mount a tv above a fireplace. There is drywall in front of the brick/cinderblock so i have no idea where the studs are and my studfinder isn't being very helpful. I'm thinking I just need to cut away a big section of drywall to see what I'm working with and anchor the bracket to the studs. Anyone ever done this? Any tips or suggestions? I'm pretty damn close to paying someone to install it for me. (note: I know, mounting a tv above a fireplace isn't really great for the tv but there is literally no where else to mount a tv in this room that would look halfway decent. )

i could waste time on that all damn day

I would love to own one in the near future. I wonder what the true battery life is on the 3. That would be my only hesitation in buying used. How does it hold its value, would the cost of replacing the battery be more than the worth of the car, etc... I wonder if this first order of 30 is to work out the real world 'kinks' of daily driving. The list is made up of mostly, if not all, Tesla employee's so it's a focus group that won't take to their blog to complain about every little issue.

Tried to see it tonight after my game but there were no late showing's at crosswoods. Trying to go out of my way to see it in Imax. With my work schedule i can't really make it to the movies on a weekday so it looks like im waiting until next weekend

I felt the same way about Interstellar, the opening scene was so loud to give you that effect, but it wasn't over any dialogue.

I think it all boils down to utility. How do you view your car, what kind of utility does it represent to you. I love my truck but I don't freak out over every little dent and ding. However if I owned a "nice" car, or even a rare, collectible I'm sure i would feel different. Some car's are meant to be driven, some cars have survived long enough to be admired.

Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer on a movie is a recipe for a great flick. I don't think i have disliked any movie those two have done together. As soon as i heard Nolan was doing a WWII flick I knew it was going to be epic. From all of the reviews everyone says its the perfect mix of action and drama and story telling, I can't wait to see it this weekend. And this will be the rare occassion I go out of my way to see it in Imax.

I thought they only had skeet? Not sure of the difference between the three, i'll have to look into it. I should've been more specific (or broad) anywhere somewhat close to central Ohio. Delaware isn't all that far from us since we're on the north side anyway. I've heard of Cardinal but haven't really looked into it.

Visited family in Florida over the weekend. Sunday we went to some shooting clay sports place. I'm thinking we'll be shooting skeet all day in the sun which doesn't sound like fun but it was way different and a hell of a lot of fun. Long story short I beat a guy sporting a $2,000 Benelli while i was shooting a $500 mossberg 500 with a crooked front sight. I was pretty damn happy with how I shot. Anyone ever done this? The best part is the GF had a lot of fun and she's normally not so interested in firearms related activities. We'll be looking for a place in central Ohio soon, any recommendations?

Yes, but with A list actors. Just the fact that Will Smith is in this movie will attract some people who would never watch a movie knowing it was created by Netflix. I normally don't like movies unless they're released in theaters but some stuff netflix has been releasing lately looks pretty good.

Gotta admit, this looks pretty damn good even for a Netflix movie...
