While the Jackets are a budget team not a cap team i knew Howeson was willing to pay whatever Nash was worth to keep him. He even said so earlier int he offseason that his number one priority was to resign Nash and he didnt care if he had to offer a 12 year deal to do it. Then again Nash gave up some bargaining ground when he admitted to loving the team and the city and not wanting to leave. All in all it was a quick process and glad to say he's wear blue for the next 8 years. Id say we were really weak up the middle last year but with Brassard back and healthy (rumor is he put 13lbs on in the offseason) Vermette and a great top of the line shutdown center in Pahlsson we're looking good. I just hope Mason's sophmore slump isnt THAT bad, thankfully he'll get much more needed rest than he did last year when we didnt have a competant backup. Still need a right handed puck moving defensemen though.

Of course im biased on this topic but I'll be honest I havent visited either Kahoots or Dreamgirls in over a year and skripper turnover is enormous so in that time there's probably a whole new crop of "i need to pay my bills so I'll show you my bewbies" skrippers. The point I was trying to make was that she made stipulations on HIM to learn how to use a gun. If theres a gun in the household every adult should know how to use it, thats all. Yes, if your new to firearms you should learn/practice with someone who is very familiar with them (ie, his father in law) but it should be something they BOTH take part in. Yes go shoot as many different firearms as possible. But MOST people will recommend a Glock as a first gun. They're simple use fire, and very easy to break down. While 1911's are accurate and great to shoot they're not the easiest to break down and clean (from what I hear, i personally have never owned one).

Remind her that your buying the firearm for your FAMILIES protection not just your own. If she wants you to shoot with her dad tell her she's going with you. If you need recommendations on which gun to buy, buy a glock. If your getting a shotgun (highly recommended for home defense) buy a Remmington 870 or a Mossberg 500. Both cheap and dead reliable. I keep my Glock on my nightstand and my Mossberg under my bed. Ive been in situations when I had to wake up from a dead sleep and defend myself, its NOT fun and you quickly realize there's no one coming to help.

I wouldnt mind rocking a WRX wagon, i saw a black one with bronze/gold rims last year that looked amazing, i was really impressed. Im thinking i would love a Jeep in the winter but kinda dread driving the thing everyday in the summer. Any other suggestions are welcome, i would love a mustang or TA or something of the sort but that would mean driving a beater in the winter etc...

My brother was going to take his carry piece (M&P .45) to florida but he read somewhere that his had to be in a specific gun case for air travel and must be labeled that it is a gun. We both thought this was a bit strange, if you were going to steal anything from a plane Im guessing the big black box that says "GUN" would look pretty good. Was this true when you traveled?

I did the same thing when I was a kid. stepped in a nest of yellow-jackets i tried running through the woods but i was still pretty bad. Dr's said I was stung over 170 times but to this day i dont know how they would even know stuff like that?! did they count the stings? whatever, they told me I was most likely allergic and to not get stung anymore, ever. I scream like a little girl when I see something like that now a days.
