Less stroke=less force intot the rod. Also the 4.8's have massive first ring lands. You need to rev them higher to get the max HP, but its eaiser on the rod to make 1000hp our of a 4.8 than 900hp on a 6.0. (considering the application in loan of ft/lbs over rpm)

I am looking forward to start this week, I just had my vehicle inspected now I have to stop down and turn all of my paperwork into Columbus for my peer to peer license. I am surprised more car folks do not do this in colder months since there really isn't much going on. I work full time 50 hours a week and am planning on working Thursday and Saturday nights.

I'm not hating on them for taking advantage of grants, loans, rebates, and abatements. Of coarse any business that has those kind of things available to them will take advantage of them.
