Really? That sucks I have not driven one but have driven a srt8 Cherokee so I was basing the ss off of that. Another reason I don't have my heart set out on one particular automobile, wanna get rid of that v?
Drive one-you may love it!! Just was not want I expected.
The V? Sure- everything is for sale!

Starting to search hard going to pull the trigger one something next week, trying to see if I can get I to a clean titled tbss for 10k or less but it has not been easy to find one close enough to make it worth while,
Those things are oddly disappointing. Great on paper, kinda blah in reality.

Bought it. Details tomorrow.
100% chance no smart advice was taken here.
On that note-lets see the NegEqRola!

Im aware of the costs of ownership with a car like this. I did my research and it seems to be a solid car. Buying used anything you run into this issue no matter what car it is. Gotta pay to play right?
No, you dont.
-
I wont say what I paid for my CTS-V but it was way below Market-and still cheaper than anything on AutoTrader even to this day.
The issue here is not this though-IMO you need to even up on this car, buy a $2500 Civic and get you finances right for a year or more. If your car situation is all fucked up, chances are there ware some other things out of whack with your finances too,

, but a c7 z06 is 100k and will crush it in all areas
U high?
I think the Z kill sin $ per value compared to most super cars, but I think the GT will kill in the straight line and road course vs. the z.

I sure hope that someone runs one at LeMans at the very least.
Yes, but those will likely be above and beyond the 250 number. If they are un-vin'd racecars I dotn believe they are counted in that number

Can let you know how to get one yourself for cheap, it's a pretty simple process.. PM me if Your interested
Me next please. Tell me all your Uki secrets.

Unless there is a new definition for flat 4 I am not aware of, that's not a flat 4.
-
How did it achieve 306hp? 10,000 rpm redline on a flat 4?
Its a flat 4? Really?
-
Do these have more or less cabin space that a Suburban? Same Chassis?

Looks only Gen 3 is a nice update.
Love the Gen 2, hate that it looks exactly like a Gen 1 from the back.
-
No

How do I have 30 feel of snow in my backyard and they have none?!
Nice buy! No worries about its life in Salt?
-
Would you believe that was 2011?
fuck 4 years ago!

Local guy-clean car-but for 35k I'd be getting a Gen 3.
I can't even believe he is selling this:http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/4912832358.html
Maybe the cleanest LS swapped FD in the US. The closest thing you can get to a brand new V8 FD, besides mine when it is finished this summer.
Yeah, but 40k? You still have to consider what you can get for that, Gen 2 CTS- V, Freaking Vipers, C6z..... You'd have to realllly want a LS-FD. I passed on a Turbo'd AL LS1 FD- 600whp-turn Key for 15k. That was a decent deal. If I had not already found mine I would have picked it up.
-
^^^This... I think 5 sells per year is the limit? Yeah I would be in trouble.
Yes, then they charge you tax on ALL transactions as if you were a business. Yes, the state of Ohio can just come down and charge a sales tax on whatever it likes.
I am fighting them right now on a 78 Vette I sold 2 years ago. It was a pile of junk, sold it for $4500-the say it was worth 30k, and charged me tax+interest on the difference. Did not find out about it until got a call from the CFPB asking why there was a lien on my house. Yes, they went all the way though the process and never notified me. 2 Months later, and I am still waiting to have it removed.
Thanks obama

LOL. Floating title is the best way to make max $$$ on a flip'd car, and stay under the Radar as a "dealer"

Checks all your boxes, and Saves you 15+K, and you can get a loan on it (if you needed to)
Thats One Mc Double a day for the next 41 years.
-
This one was priced at $45k. I'm flexing from $40-50k with my target at $45k. LOL on the CTS-V route. There are two right now in the 2011 range with sub 10 on the ODO. I don't really care about what year the CTS-V Gen 2 is once we pass 2011..
Whats the difference between the 09-10 and 11+?
-
Nice review
I'm waffling because I can get a very low mile 2014 VSport Premium for the same price as a 2011-2013 CTS-V
What price range is that? You can buy V2's from Low 30's to low 50's LOL

I've always liked Disco's but the 3 people close to me that had one or two always had a ridic amount of problems (granted, none of them were DIY car people). I remember my roommate had one leased around 2001 and I borrowed it to run some errands. I grabbed the rear door/hatch handle by the license plate and it crumbled in my hands. I sh!t you not, less than 3 years and 36k miles, and this metal handle totally rusted through.
.
Exactly why I always pass on them. Many moons ago I worked at a LR dealership-and even new they were the most unreliable cars I have ever seen. Everything from Head Gaskets, to Window regulators were considered "regular maintenance"
Always Loved the look of them though.

http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/01/03/city-tries-to-fix-waters-odor-taste.html
Columbus is affected with smelly water. It doesn't seem to affect everyone, just some people.
One of the very few benefits of living up North is unreal tap water quality. Any houses I have lived in with access to CLE water tastes as good as bolted water. If you pour my tap over ice, and pour a bottle over ice, you could not tell the difference.
The negative of this is being forced to drink bottled water everywhere I go because the tap water usually tastes like crap.

Boom!
Can I get some +Rep? I would not know what to do with it, but I feel like I need more of it?
Oddly, like the theme of this thread.
